There are no grounds for impeachment. You can't impeach a president because you don't like that person or disagree with their views. The Democrats have not gotten over that they lost the 2016 general election. If they keep going down the same path they will certainly lose again.

No.

Now you can read the 3 other threads that explain how ridiculous the whole thing is, and how the Dems are doing EXACTLY what the founders said NOT to do. Use impeachment for PURELY political purposes.

I suspect that if the election result had been Hillary, we would be at the same place today with the republicans in charge of impeachment. We have become a nation of sore losers.

Quite possibly so. However, were HRC to have been the winner in 2016 there would have been plenty of groundwork for her lawful impeachment.
Unlike Trump.

I think this soft coup should be put to an end with the impeachment of those committed to Sedition impeached out of both houses.
Start with Pelosi who's son was linked to suspicious activity in the Ukraine during Obama's terms. Move to Senator Biden of Delaware for whom there is evidence that he and his son Hunter were involved in unlawful acts in Ukraine, with Biden using his measure of influence as VP for leverage.
Fortunately, American's aren't as dumb as the Democrats in D.C. think. Come 2020 this fiasco that is likely to continue through to 2024 when Trump is re-elected and should the Democrats gain majority in both or either house. Pelosi has said her goal is not to impeach Trump but rather to put him in prison.
The Democrats involved in this assault on Trump are abandoning their duties to the American people as elected lawmakers. They're an embarrassment to their office.

I protest Papou’s vote. He’s not even American for God’s sake.

I'm not as current on all the news as I would like to be, due to financial limitations for internet access, but it was good to see an internet photo of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at a public appearance recently.

I don't believe that it is in America's best interest to disrupt the duties of the legally elected President of the United States of America, elected by majority democratic vote.

While every citizen may not agree with everything a president or his administration's actions, challenges to presidential authority must be based on substantial and verifiable facts, or else those who do so are risking legal repercussions themselves.

To challenge the executive branch of authority, without just cause, could be tantamount to treason, and not in the best interest of national security, regardless of political affiliation.

It appears to be a dangerous gamble to undermine his re-election. I hope to look at some more evaluation results regarding economic development.

While I am a moderate conservative on some issues, I support good environmental stewardship, judicial reforms that ensure equal access to life, liberty, and justice to all, including the unborn, religious freedom, and policies that reward hard work, as well as equal access to medical care, protection from civil corruption, and protection from persecution of vulnerable citizens, and policies that ensure police officers are using their resources safely and effectively, to ensure public safety, and policies that do not unnecessarily endanger military personnel.

Therefore, until proven otherwise, I support President Donald Trump, and anticipate positive divinely inspired actions that favor peaceful international relations, and some creative teamwork to build public confidence and culteral cooperation, understanding, communication that promotes the values that America was founded upon.

Working together, we can, with God's help, make America great again, even though this has always been a great country.

Who is Papou?
Sounds like a pagan stone God on some island...
🤔
If you click on the 1 lone "yes" vote, his name pops up. In his profile he says he is Canadian!

Why are Canadians voting on whether the American President should be impeached?

I'm Canadian, but what the hay....I'm gonna step in it regardless.

I think he should be removed, gross nepotism, withholding funding to further his own personal political interests....leveraging the presidency to further his business interests.

With that being said I did like that he cancelled the Trans Pacific trade deal, and have zero problem with him using tariffs as a means to protect US interests, and I also like that he withdrew from Syria. Personally though, when it comes to DJT, I think he's described pretty well in the Bible in the book of Timothy.

People will be selfish and love money. They will be the kind of people who brag and who are proud. They will slander others, and they will be disobedient to their parents. They will be ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, contrary, and critical. They will be without self-control and brutal, and they won’t love what is good. 4 They will be people who are disloyal, reckless, and conceited. They will love pleasure instead of loving God. 5 They will look like they are religious but deny God’s power. Avoid people like this.

I know that many think no matter who the President is, whether its Bush, Clinton, Obama or Trump...they believe that God has orchestrated it. That's not my belief though....

Not fond of Trump as a president but he gets far more opposition than deserved. The opposition is at the point of Lunacy sometimes.

Not mucking around, I trust nobody is going to be influenced on how to vote by a post to a message board. FWIW I'd be happy if Trudeau had lost our recent election, I voted for the People's Party of Canada or PPC for short.

There are things I like about the American system, and things I prefer in Canada. I like the lack of party discipline in the US....sometimes Dem and GOP members vote against their party....that happens very seldom in Canada and almost never when its a vote that has spending attached. I love the American system of checks and balances, with mid-term elections to put a check on executive power. The aspect of the Canadian system that I like is the number of parties....in our October election there were Libs/Cons/NDP/Green/PPC choices for just about every voter.

The impeachment of an incumbent president is no light matter. But the Democrats have made a TOTAL MOCKERY of the meaning and the reasons for impeachment. In fact they all should be prosecuted for abusing their positions and making a circus out of government.

Because the Democrats do not have a SINGLE credible and viable candidate for president, they believe that abusing the concept of impeachment will open the door to one of those clowns who wish to run for office. Shame on both Democrats and Republicans for allowing this farce and witch hunt to go on and on and on.

Now, this is a sensitive position for me applying likely for dual citizenship, having Canadian birth rights. But, I am an American citizen by nature of having lived in an American state, even though Alaska is in a bit of a neutral position.

But, it is not helpful for a "sister country" citizen, if that's a good term, or anyone else to dishonor an American president considering this country's mutual defense of our Ally to the north, or to say a national leader is not honoring the Bible when he and the First Lady are both Christians.
