Haha you are a Calvinist then... okay... well many people fail, the flesh and Satan are still there.... Ananias and Sapphira are a scriptural example.
I am not a Calvinist, and neither was Paul who wrote the words I quoted.

That is a good thing... parts of its system of theology (the wrong parts) are pretty much everywhere though...imho

[26] For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins, [27] But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries. [28] A man making void the law of Moses, dieth without any mercy under two or three witnesses: [29] How much more, do you think he deserveth worse punishments, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath esteemed the blood of the testament unclean, by which he was sanctified, and hath offered an affront to the Spirit of grace? [30] For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people.

You are awesome too. Don’t get me wrong. I know that God can chasten believers with physical death. One of the epistles to Corinth says so. But it really does not say annanais and Saphira were saved. I just point this out because there are better passages that confirm your point

You know, I don’t know how to answer the part of verse 29 that says “by which he was sanctified”, Except I do know that Paul said later that he was persuaded of better things for the brethren

I think that explains a lot about Hebrews chapter six

No need to apologize. We are persuaded of better things for the brethren than loss of salvation. If I am constantly worried about losing salvation, I am doubting the power of God to keep me

And on the other hand, I do not want to be presumptuous with Gods grace, or be lax. The Grace of God is the greatest impetus in the universe.

Well, If Jesus said HE would never leave nor forsake us, and that NO ONE, NOT EVEN YOU, can snatch us from His, and His Father's Hands, and the Holy Spirit SEALS us unto the day of redemption, and Paul tells Timothy EVEN IF (ala Peter) we deny Him HE cannot deny Himself, who is in us, and we learn in Romans that NO CREATED THING (YOU are a created thing...Right!?), not death, angels, height, depth, principalities, powers, things present things future....... and on and on..... I'm exhausted just WRITING HOW ETERNALLY SECURE we are!

So you wanna tell us again how a born again CHILD of the One True King, is going to become unborn again, kicked out of their Heavenly Father's family, and tossed into the Lake of Fire?

Remember, you may THINK you can leave Him, but HE said HE would never leave YOU.

Now it IS true that some THINK they are HIS, but have made a false profession of faith. THAT, is not WHO we are discussing.
Remember, you may THINK you can leave Him, but HE said HE would never leave YOU.
Yes, “He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you"-Deut. 31:8....if you do not forsake him.
Read the rest of the passage:

"this people will arise and play the harlot with the strange gods of the land, into the midst of which they are going, and (they) will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them. 17“Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them" - Deuteronomy 31:16-17

That's where the fail safe protection of God is. In Him, not out and away from Him in unbelief. The promise is conditioned on you staying in God. That's where your eternal security lies.

Not believing once saved always saved doctrine does not mean you are constantly worried about losing your salvation. I mean, it can be if you do that. But you do not have to worry because as long as you are trusting in Christ you are eternally secure, he will not fail you or forsake you. You can rest assured as long as you are trusting him to keep you.

They were.... people always look for ways to make it no so... does not work with Calvinism and Lordship doctrines.

A lot of us are doctrinally evangelicals. I only believe in 3 of the 5 points of Calvinism, therefore neither, the Armenians nor the Calvinists will claim us, and that is FINE by me. BECAUSE as far as I am concerned WE BURIED THAT CALVINIST vs. Armenian ARGUMENT back in the early 80's. So what can they call us ? ? ? If you have to have a title besides CHRISTIAN, I suppose Conservative Evangelical Born Again Christians will do.
