A homosexual person giving their life over to God will not suddenly feel no same-sex attraction. Everyone is tempted by sin and that's something none of us can deny. If a Christian's thorn is same-sex attraction and they aren't giving into temptation, who are we to judge? God can give someone the strength to resist temptation (and He does!) but this does not mean that the person will no longer be tempted.
Sin will always be sin, and repenting will always be repenting. Anyone who comes to Jeus, Yeshua, in spirit and dtruth will be saved. People seem to forget that one law broken is all of the law broken...perhaps this will sink in with a very few or a verymany. The latter I pray, allfor the glory of Jesus, Yeshua, amen.

When Jesus was headed to the last supper with his disciples, he said to the crowd, unless you eat my body and drink my blood you can have no part of me, and the crowd went away.
The truth of the Gospel is that some will not accept it. Part of the Gospel is the message of turning away from your sins. Some people want Jesus bit they want to indulge their sins more.
Part of repentance is recognizing that your sin is repulsive to God , and separates you from him. Believing in Jesus means hating your sin. So how can you live in unrepentant sin and say you love Jesus.

Agree with this but don’t you think the Lord can deliver that person forever so they can go on to live a natural life? Get married, have a family?

Yes I am concerned about balding men in positions of authority too. It is my honest but bold assertion that only men with a full head of hair should be in leadership roles. Full head of hair leaders are always moral, ethical, uncorrupt and never deserve scrutiny. They are a shining light to us all.

It's possible, but it's also possible that God will allow them to struggle in it.
Sometimes God lets us struggle, like Paul with the "thorn in his side".
It is these realities that caused me to walk away from the charismatic church. Steven was stoned to death Paul was ship wrecked and beaten and imprisoned, he spoke of being abased and abounding. All through out church history Christians have suffered horrific things. Can we say that a Somalian Christian who hides for his life has less faith because he is in real poverty? He is praying for one meal and that the authorities don't find him out, mean while his neighbor was found out and his wife and kids were taken as slaves and him crucified on the door posts of his shack.
So while God can and will deliver the homosexual, he will also allow him to struggle in it and fight and fail and rise again to fight again, and his victory will be when he leaves this body of sin and death and receives eternal deliverance

Ad hominem attacks, are always poor form, and generally an admission of failure in ability to address the subject matter.

Homosexuality is not different than the menagerie of other sins that plague humanity, except that it has become militant.

People, have a heart and separate the individual from the movement. I have managed to separate individuals from various erroneous so-called Christiaqn movemnts, or do you call them denominations'?

fINALLY COMING TO GRIPS WITH THE TRUTH THERE ARE BELIEVERS IN ALL OF THOSE denominations...It is even more widespread than just that, halleluyah. Try to do the same, peace is there.

Now if only all who believe jESUS WOULD TAKE THIS STANCE ABOUT ANY SINNERS, LIFE WOULD BE MUCH MORE BEARABLE, SUCH AS THE "HAVE FUN" FOLSK, THE "WEALTH" GOSPEL OF MANY TODAY, AND THE JUST PLAIN FASCIST MODEL OF MOVements arising these past decades. Back to huimily, faith, hope and love without snapping to judge anhyone you jusst do not love. We are to love aall people so do not take this to mean you are to appreove of their actions, though many will no matter how well it is drawn for them

Michael Voris who did that video in post 124 is a protestant hating RCC member .. I try to use people like him to call out their own .. I would tell Voris this is the proper biblical way to choose your church leaders .. How will an unmarried man be able to council a family with a HQ on the other side of earth ..
1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.

Attraction to sin is everybodies thorn until that wonderful day when we will all be glorified together. That will be a fine, fine day.

Just keep in mind that as Christians, we are witnessing to many who know nothing about Jesus. The Bread and Wine represent a spiritual fellowship with the Lord and have nothing to do with pagan practice's.

Fellowship with any idols attracts flies, and bad vibes. When King Josiah was 18 years of age, he realized that Israel had been overrun by idols, he sent his advisors, led by the priest, Hilkiah, to ask Huldah the prophet, how to restore Israel's honor before the Lord. She gave a dire warning, which inspired King Josiah to bring about sweeping reforms to Judaism during his reign to cleanse the land of idolatry. One of these reforms was expelling the male prostitutes from the temple, while women were not mentioned. Huldah must have realized the dangers, and Josiah's dramatic reforms restored the Jewish Passover.

It was in honoring the Passover meal, when Jesus began the Christian tradition of the Bread and Wine, to remember His life and His death that fulfilled the New Covenant of salvation through the free-gift of God's Grace, which we remember also at Christmas.

Christmas also honors Mary, as Christ honored women, and Mary of Magdalena, whose sins we're forgiven for her sacred tears.

and I think the two main characters were the same sex, if I recall ??
Would you rather wrestle a gay crocodile, or a heterosexual crocodile? Either way, they don't seem like a cheerful lot...

They're both clearly sinners.

hub and I are at a place in our lives now that we understand what Jesus Loves and what
He dosen't like, or abhors or just plainly rejects - and this comes from decades of Spiritual Bible Study -
we now accept this and understand His 'perimeters', and His Holy stance against certain behaviours -
whether it be 'beastiality-incest-porn-cannibalism-pediophillia-, -
His morals/rules/regulations are ALL for the good of us=mankind, and yet, mankind rebels and hates
and continually tries to replace His Ways with theirs -
sadly, our history bears witness to the consequences thereof...
HEB. 3:10.
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known My ways.
1COR. 4:17.
For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in The Lord,
who shall bring you into remembrance of My Ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

it looks like homosexuality birth control and unnatural birth control are the same thing. is God offended by 2 naked men or women touching each other or is it about preventing the conception of some ones existence. the latter fits in the framework of sin is the absence of love which targets a victim. God knows those people who don't exist as though they did exist. God knows those things in shadow of darkness as though they came to light. prior to 1930 they were against birth control

Begin your meditation with the truth that God is Spirit and would b e worshiped in Spirit and Truth.

Perhaps referring to Jesus, Yesha's, response to the seven brothers who all had the same wife will be of some help. It should b e.

You might go back to the laws and see God's view of carnal relations, even between a man and his wife, how they are considered unclean after have relations………..it's ok, we are ordered to fill the earth, just a mystery you and others seem to overlook.
