Hi! I'm Emmy, I'll be 22 in February. I grew up an atheist but have recently found God and I'm so thrilled to find a community where I can learn more and be active in my faith as those in my life aren't exactly supportive of my relationship with the Lord. I'm attending my first church service a week from the day I'm making this post and I'm so excited!
Aside from all that, I enjoy writing, reading, baking, knitting, painting, and gardening. I'm currently living in Arizona, but I'd like to move to another state one day. I have 3 cats, a bunny, and two geckos and they're the loves of my life. I'm a super friendly person and would love to make friends with people of all kinds who love Christ like I do
Hey Emmy! I love that - thanks for sharing part of your journey! I'm 29 living in Ontario, Canada. I was born and raised in a Christian home, attending church basically since birth, but didn't truly become born again in Christ until 2012. I actually stopped going to church physically a long time ago, as I never really connected with anyone there, then moved and never found a new church to become apart of - until recently via online with Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma; however, actually meeting and speaking to ppl from there is a bit of a challenge, and that's why I've decided to join this chat today... to try and gain some fellowship with those who also love the Lord!
