Not really appearing of the canon but the perfect that was to come was church unity in love (1 John 4)- but is somehow connected to the completion of the canon because the canon basically replaced those that were bring these unity in love (establish the church)
So you think the church is perfected in love now? What about knowledge?

Do you agree with the Nicene creed btw on the resurrection?

Its like saying New York city is not real because you were told and believed it is fake.
So believing something is real because you watched it on youtube is better?!
Even if he raised me from the dead, i wouldn't believe it because there's no such thing today- just read and understand the scriptures but more specifically, understand the times.

Yes, the church is perfected in love but it depends with what you call a church. From my side, it is not a collection of denominations but individual believers. When you are perfected in love, everything else ceases including knowledge.

Nicene creed? No.

So how many dead persons has that guy come across, just one? and it had to be somewhere in Mexico. Unbelievable.
Is that ethnocentricism? Or maybe I should say geocentrism and coin a term if no one else gas. If something amazing happens near where you arethat lends credibility to it?

I have heard of resurrections in African and what is now West Papua. Since these are areas where the gospel is being first introduced to knew peoples and groups it makes sense that there might be more miracles like in Hebrews 2 or Acts. Consider the reports of miracles with Patric and the Irish.

This reminds me of Thomas except he said he would not believe unless he put his fingers in His hands and and in His side. You are not understanding or perceiving this as you did not understand about our hope of the resurrection in previous posts.

We are not talking about perfect knowledge. We are talking about the completion of the inspired word of God given to equip the church for service to her Lord Jesus Christ.

Then you need to try to find another prooftext to hang your hat on. I Corinthians 13 does talk about knowing fully verses knowing in part. It does not mention scripture or canon.

Rev 22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
Where do you get the idea that this us 'heaven'?

You don't need to hear of reports and believe them, you need to read the bible and understand. This is another verse for you:

Luke 17:20When asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God will not come with observable signs. 21Nor will people say, ‘Look, here it is,’ or ‘There it is.’ For you see, the kingdom of God is in your midst.

Nor can people say, " see those over there doing miracles or these over here speaking in a new language"

In this covenant, everyone is a priest and Christ the chief priest with no intermediaries.

Like saying "there is no such thing as Jesus. Even if He appeared to me,i would believe it to be fake"

How did Jesus PROVE th JTB WHO he was?

"Go tell John The lame walk, the blind see, leppors are cleansed and the dead are raised...."

Your Gospel has none of that.

Red flags galore

Do you actually know of a gathering of people who believe as you do?

Jesus gave the red flags Himself:

John 9:
1Now as Jesus was passing by, He saw a man blind from birth, 2and His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

3Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God would be displayed in him. 4While it is daytime, we must doa the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Since Jesus did miracles at that time and apostles and other brethren did them later it makes no sense to use the verse the way you do.

The members of the body of Christ operating in their gifts is not the same thing Paul was talking about when He said there is one Mediator between God and man. In his role as an evangelistic preacher Paul considered himself to be an ambassador of Christ also, but that is different from being the Mediator. Hod does work through people by His grace.

Grace is still at work operating through people and hence there are still gifts. God did not withdraw all His grace from the saints and expect them to operate in their own strength. You lack understanding of grace.

There are roughly 237 references in the bible to "believe"
Only about 37 are in the ot.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

Yes

1 Cor 15:29If these things are not so, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?

I bet you can not answer Paul's question.

Who has decieved you into a different Gospel than the one,not only walked out for the world to see by Jesus, but that same accompaniment of miracles was delivered to the church BY JESUS HIMSELF,BUT NO,WITH YET GREATER NUMBER.

Your connection between grace and gifts is a stretch. We know gifts cease but God's mercy is forever.

What Jesus and the apostles did was foundational for it is said, the kingdom is made of Jesus as the chief corner stone and the apostles as the foundation. Apart from other things, Jesus' message was "the kingdom of God is at hand" and Jesus also said it comes with no observable signs- so the gifts were also foundational. The kingdom itself is here and it should have no observable signs.

We Know God is alive through his mighty hand.

The gospel was NEVER ordained to be preached WITHOUT sighn and wonders following.
NEVER.

GOD HAS ALWAYS MOVED THROUGH POWER.

It is not a mental God nor is his book a mental book.

Red flags galore to those bringing that mental dynamic to earth and its inhabitants.

God is alive with ALL POWER.

JESUS SAID "do not even think of ANY MINISTRY untill you wait in the upper room for the power"

Ahhhh,but modern apathy refutes that
