. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

Espionage- is the act of organized spying, usually with the goal of uncovering sensitive military or political information.

Lucky for us, all this information is already recorded for us to use in order to defeat the strategies of Satan. The Bible gives us all the intelligence needed in order to have a fruitful victory.

In order to take a stand, we must first know what the tactics and schemes of Satan are and what strategies he uses. When Satan was cast out of Heaven during the great rebellion (Rev 12:7-12), a third of the angelic hosts followed Satan (Rev 12:4) but in 2 Peter we see that these fallen angels are being held by chains in Hell until judgement day (2 Peter 2:4).

So, the question becomes then what is a demon and where do demons come from? Theologically, you will have different opinions on the origin of demons, but the Bible is clear that they exist and are sided with Satan (1 Tim 4:1, James 2:19, Matt 12:45).

Satan and his demon army are the occupying force in the world. The whole world lies in the power of the evil one (1 John 5:19). This world currently is in a state of fallen glory and the worldly kingdom is ruled by Satan and his army (Matt 12:22-26).

God provides us with the counterintelligence to understand the enemy’s tactics. Here is a list below.

Can Disguise himself as an Angel of light (2 Cor 11:14)

Deceiver (Rev 12:9)

Steal, kills, and destroys (John 10:10)

Lies (John 8:44)

Tempts (1 Cor 7:5)

Opportunist (Eph 4:27)

Prowler (1 Peter 5:8-9)

Trickster (Geneses 3:1, 2 Tim 2:26)

Ruler (Matt 12:22-26)

Adversary (1 Peter 5:8)

Discussion Questions

As you begin to adopt the spiritual perspective of warfare. How does this perspective prepare you for your future battles?

Out of the 10 tactics that Satan can use against you. Which tactic or tactics does he attack you the most? Begin to practice alertness and keep watch for the enemy’s movement. (Finding the areas that are weak can help us strengthen and prepare for a better defense)

We must examine ourselves and study our personal battlefields. In doing this can you predetermine Satan’s tactics to a location? A trigger? A temptation? (Understanding Satan’s tactics is one thing but locating where he is likely to strike is crucial in preparing your defense.)

Satan is not Chain right now , And want be till the 1000 years that GODs people are in Heaven . And HE slays the wicked by the brightness of HIS coming , And the dead will lay from one end of earth to the other , He takes HIS saints to heaven , And the wicked are dead .
This leaves no one on earth a live , There are no one here , for Satan to temp . This is the spiritual Chain , Chains will not hold Satan . After the 1000 years he will be loose a little season .

Ephesians 6:10-17 in brief gives us the understanding that in Christ the evil forces can be defeated. But it takes us donning on the Armor of God in which is the result of a Christian in full submission to God. Any example dealing with demons had a direct correlation to faith. By faith they would be commanded to leave or by lack of faith the disciples failed to cast them out. The Holy Spirit living in us gives us the authority and power to be confident in the power of our God that nothing can prevail over us.

But first it takes understanding the first few verses. Knowing the enemies schemes, then using that knowledge to examine your own personal battlefield. By understanding the enemies tactics we can build a strategy to defend against those tactics but also to use the powers given to us through the Word, prayer and faith to also push against the enemy forces. And so begins the training phase. It is very unwise to send a untrained soldier into battle which means a Christian must be seeking maturity in faith. In this training and preparation we learn how to put on the armor and how each piece is unique but important when combined with the whole armor.

My sections go in greater detail on each subject.

The Believers Full Armor is being in Christ (Rom, 6:3-5). The Believer can only abide in Christ by Faith placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and the Finished Work at Calvary Cross. No other enticing religious disciplines that appeals to the flesh is needed. Concerning this Revelation 12:11 says:

“11 And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb (the power to overcome and overwhelm the Kingdom of Satan is found exclusively in the Blood of the Sacrifice of the Son of God, and our Faith in that Finished Work [Rom. 6:3-5, 11, 14]), and by the word of their testimony (the “testimony” must pertain to the fact that the Object of our Faith is the Cross, and exclusively the Cross, which then gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work within our lives); and they loved not their lives unto the death. (This refers to the fact that the Believer must not change his testimony regarding the Cross to something else, even if it means death.)” JSM

As I have stated over and over again, it is the Cross, the Cross! When we speak of the Cross for the solution and answer for all things, we are speaking about "The Blood of Jesus!"

Praise God, Praise God!!!!!! Glory to the Lamb of God!!!!!!!

not by hanging off the cross

we have authority in the name of our Savior..you might recall the 70 sent out by Christ who said even the demons obeyed them?

in whose name did they cast out demons?

if Swaggart is so edumacted in these things, why didn't he cast out his own demons of lust?

Paul said that 'we' (people he was writing to in Corinth) are not ignorant of the devil's schemes

9My purpose in writing you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything. 10If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And if I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven it in the presence of Christ for your sake, 11in order that Satan should not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

In order to take a stand, we must first know what the tactics and schemes of Satan are and what strategies he uses. When Satan was cast out of Heaven during the great rebellion (Rev 12:7-12), a third of the angelic hosts followed Satan (Rev 12:4) but in 2 Peter we see that these fallen angels are being held by chains in Hell until judgement day (2 Peter 2:4).

just so

your list does provide good insight to some of these things

Your Word for Today

"Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s Righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the Righteousness of God (Rom. 10:1-3).

The main purpose of the Holy Spirit giving us, through Paul, Chapters 9 through 11 of Romans was not, as stated, for Prophetical analysis, even though that, in measure, was given, but rather to warn the Church. If the Church follows in Israel’s footsteps by being ignorant of God’s Righteousness or by refusing God’s Righteousness, attempting, as Israel, to establish its own righteousness, the Church will be cut off just as Israel was cut off.

Concerning this, Paul said, “For if God spared not the natural branches (Israel), take heed lest He also spare not you (refers to the Church, as is obvious). Behold, therefore the goodness and severity of God (don’t mistake the Goodness of God for license): on them which fell, severity (speaks of Judgment which came on Israel, God’s chosen People); but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His Goodness (proclaims the conditions; the continuing of that “Goodness” pertains to continued Faith in Christ and the Cross): otherwise you also shall be cut off” (Rom. 11:21-22).

“God’s Righteousness” is that which is afforded by Jesus Christ, gained by and through the Cross. The only way that God’s Righteousness can be given to anyone is by virtue of the Cross, which demands Faith on the part of the recipient. If one attempts to gain righteousness by any other manner, the Lord refers to it as “self-righteousness,” and it is unacceptable — totally unacceptable!

I ask the following question:

How much is the modern Church preaching the Cross? The answer screams back at us, “Precious little!”

The Church has already apostatized. The Church Age opened with Christ standing in the midst of the candlesticks, in which the candlesticks represent the Church (Rev. 1:12-13). At the close of the Church Age, which pertains to the present time, we no longer find Christ in the midst of the Church, but rather outside, knocking on the door, trying to get in (Rev. 3:17-20). The Lord is, in fact, no longer dealing with the institutionalized Church as a whole, but rather with individuals only.

To be sure, the Lord has always dealt with individuals, but now it is only individuals.

“If any man hear My Voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Rev. 3:20). So, who presently is saved?

It is the same now as it was with Israel of old.

Paul said, “Even so then at this present time (Paul’s day) also there is a Remnant according to the election of Grace (definitely speaks of Predestination, but not as many think; it is the “Remnant” that is elected or predestined, not who will be in the Remnant).

“And if by Grace (the Goodness of God, all made possible by the Cross), then is it no more of works (no one can point to their works as grounds for Salvation): otherwise Grace is no more Grace (if works are mixed with Grace, they nullify Grace). But if it be of works, then is it no more Grace (works can never produce Grace): otherwise work is no more work” (for example, Water Baptism, if acted upon wrongly, nullifies its true meaning; this also holds true for all other great Ordinances of the Lord) (Rom. 11:5-6).

As there was a “Remnant” in Israel who were saved, meaning that most were lost, likewise, there also is a “Remnant” in the modern Church who are saved, but only a Remnant. Israel had rejected much of that which was of the Lord, but when they rejected the Cross, there was nothing left. They were cut off. The modern Church has done the same thing. It has rejected much which is of the Lord, but now it is rejecting the Cross. As with Israel, if the Cross is rejected, that means the Righteousness of God is rejected, and that means the Church is also cut off — except for the “Remnant.”

Are you in the Remnant?

The only way that anyone can be in the Remnant is by accepting Christ and what Christ did at the Cross. There is no other way!"’
