I would not speak for other than myself in these instances.

The assertion is representative of the Millennial kingdom.
The Book of Ezekiel chapter 37
24 My servant David will be king over them, and all of them will have one shepherd; they will live by my rulings and keep and observe my regulations. 25 They will live in the land I gave to Ya‘akov my servant, where your ancestors lived; they will live there — they, their children, and their grandchildren, forever; and David my servant will be their leader forever. 26 I will make a covenant of peace with them, an everlasting covenant.
so you think David, not Christ will be the millennial King? Who will rule with a rod of Iron, and who’s kingdom will be forever and ever?

What you don't seem to realize is, God's Ten Words contained the Torah.

The Book of Exodus chapter 24:12 Adonai said to Moshe, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay there. I will give you the stone tablets with the Torah and the mitzvot I have written on them, so that you can teach them.”
The laws of God are in Exodus. And all were written in stone. The Decalogue was given to Moses in chapter 20. .
The Book of Exodus chapter 34
is more of God's laws, and after the first were smashed.

see Exodus 32. While the Ten words are the synopsis what are in the categories of those Mitzvot.
32:15 Moshe turned and went down from the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets inscribed on both sides, on the front and on the back. 16 The tablets were the work of God; and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.
Yeah, I get it.

2 Corinthians 3:7-9
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

The Ministration of Death is NOT Gods Law.
The Ministration of Condemnation is NOT Gods Law.

That is Moses Law written on stone.

Gods Law has made us free from the Law of Condemnation and Death.
Gods Law has made us Righteous in a way that the Ministration of Death could not.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Grandpa why are you getting angry, because I said you continue of what I said that I am tired an repeating myself to you because of you constant repetitious questions? That is causing siliness? You are history in my books, you are just like unitedforchrist and eternally-fulfilled.

Don't respond because I will no longer respond to you, but ask yourself two questions...

1) There are blessings in the law and a curse in the law, Yeshua took the curse of the law to the cross, what happens to the blessings of the law, did it dissolved?

2) Even though I don't like to use the word trinity, where in the Scriptures does it say trinity? Does that mean that Yeshua is not Deity because it does not say the word Trinity?

You and the other two are stuck on the teachings of men, they have impressed you like with a hot iron with their teaching.

Don't bother responding you are history.
The Lord took the curse of the law to the cross but NOT if you are still working at it.

The blessings of the law have always been for those who OBEY the Law. Unfortunately no one can do it. Except the Lord Jesus Christ. So if you want to be blessed of God the ONLY WAY is through Christ. NOT THROUGH YOUR WORK AT THE LAW.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Don't you think that Paul knows that the Lord has taken the curse of the law to the cross?

Yes, of course he does. But if you continue in your working at the law then you continue to place yourself under the curse.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

This is all scripture.

it's universally understood when we say 'Torah' we refer to all of the law, all of the books of Moses, not just to the decalogue. see for example Deuteronomy 28:58, 'carefully follow all the words of this law (lit. torah) written in this book'

but isn't it interesting, the first tablets were both written by God and carved out by God, but because of the great wickedness of the people, they were broken - and then a second set of tablets was carved by Moses & inscribed by God ((Exodus 34: 1-4)).
so the first tablets were the work of man, but because of sin, the second tablets were the work of man.

is this why Abraham wasn't given this law or this covenant, but the Israelites, who grumbled & called God evil from the very day they were taken out of Egypt - they were given this law, and this covenant? that is -- did Abraham have a ministration of death or a ministration of righteousness? and it is the covenant with Abraham that is not annulled, the promise ((Galatians 3:16)) - but the covenant at Sinai that was broken, which the new covenant of our Lord's flesh and blood is "not like" ((Genesis 17:10, Isaiah 59, Matthew 26:28, Jeremiah 31:32, Hebrews 8:9, Romans 11:27 et al))

studying this i am really getting the picture that the Hebrews wold have received a much different covenant & law if they had not been so stiff-necked & wicked. truly 'the law is not made for the righteous' ((1 Timothy 1:9))

While the Ten words are the synopsis what are in the categories of those Mitzvot.
it is a popular theory among the unbelieving Jews that the decalogue is the basis and synopsis of the law, but Christ says differently - the basis of the law (torah) is not found among these 10; it is hidden in Deuteronomy 6 & Leviticus 19 - love the LORD and love your neighbor.

when Christ made that torah obsolete ((John 13:34, Luke 22:20, Hebrews 8:13)) He collapsed the basis of that torah which had a foundation of two mitzvah into one, saying love one another as He has loved you
see Zechariah 11 -- two shepherds, two staffs. see the blessing and the curse of the letter. see the broken staff of Ezekiel 37:15-17 --- and see how our Lord said there will be one flock, and one Shepherd, John 10

something amazing happened when Christ came - something radically changed

hmm there in verse 25 it says David will be their prince ((your chosen translation says 'leader'))

how is David called servant, king, and prince?
whose servant is an earthly king? Who does scripture say is Israel's true king?
it says also there will be One Shepherd -- do you think, David, not Christ?
do you think Jesus is David reincarnated . . ?
or that one is a representation of the other? which is the real king and shepherd?

or do you just have me on ignore now because you cannot bear my words :censored:

you ought to consider this:

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet,
until Shiloh comes, and to Him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
(Genesis 49:10)
who do you say Shiloh is, @Whispered ?

whoops! typo.
first tablets work of God, second tablets work of man.

and the third?

While you were watching, a Rock was cut out, but not by human hands.
It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them.

That too.

I sought this out since some don't regard the personal knowledge of scripture as valid in making our point about a Bible subject.
Will David reign with Jesus in the Millennial Kingdom?
Question

the chart said David will reign as king,

which is it?

David or Jesus?

i have been to multiple churches all over the eastern us and read countless books, have never heard this claim from any dispensational teacher or author

That's why I don't believe your claims about Dispensationalism.
You claimed the chart I provided was wrong and yet you were wrong in your rebuttals of it.
That chart was complied by those who do know Dispensationalism and Covenant Theology. I can rest assured they were not wrong.

Wellif you think they are not the ministrations of death

your the confused one
The commands of God caused Moses face to shine so brightly after meeting with God and receiving them that he veiled his face.
Paul declared the laws of God to be spiritual, holy, just and good. The Book of Romans chapter 7.
