It is only if people fall into unbelief. An example would be those who once believed, but later in life come to believe the tomb and resurrection was a hoax.

As for True Christian is eternally saved because they never leave the Saviour., I would tell you that Peter left Christ, denied Him three times and before the cock crowed, as Jesus foresaw and told Peter he would do. Peter was an Apostle, and Jesus knew Him ever after, and well past the cock crowing.
That story tells us that while we may leave Christ, Christ who knows us never leaves us. As He promised. As He fulfills.

Perhaps the reason so many are dead set on repeating the oft posted idea that Salvation isn't eternal, is because they don't know what it is to have the Holy Spirit living within. Feeling empty they believe it is possible God will leave if we but do this or that. And yet, what those who believe such always forget is, God knew the sins of the world prior to coming here as His only begotten Son. He died to take all the sins of this world upon Himself on the cross, that whosoever believes shall have immortal everlasting life.

How then can anyone think that our losing faith for whatever cause God would know, would let God to leave us too, after He suffered so much to save us.
Those who walked away from Christ, are not an example of those who lose faith being cast out. (the scripture in the Book of 1st John chapter 2 and verse 19) Those who left Jesus and His Apostles were the example of the nominal believer. Those who carried the name, faithful in Christ, but were not so. Those are not saved in the first place. Which Jesus knew.)

The next time we encounter those who are dedicated to telling us our Salvation is not secure, consider they're certain of this because they don't know what being secure in Christ and His Salvation is. Otherwise, they'd not feel so assure of something that is not possible for those who know.

True, but those warnings against backsliding must be there for a reason. Think of them as encouraging us to support others. The early Christians must have gone through dreadful periods of depression and doubt the way they were persecuted.

Yes, indeed, Yeshua/Jesus would argue with the Pharisees because they were suppose to know the Truth and teach the Truth but, instead they taught their own human rules, putting burdens on the people that God did not put on them.

Mark 7:6-13 NIV

6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:
“‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’
8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”
9 And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!
10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’
11 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)—
12 then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother.
13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

The Pharisees were not saved because they trusted in themselves instead of Jesus.

Not true. I do not brag about my salvation, neither do I think I am superior. Humility is one of the graces.

I'm not intending to say any of you boast in your works instead of Christ. The Pharisees were proud and trusted themselves and hated Jesus. And because of this they were not saved.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
