Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

There is more that one Korah in the BIBLE, but if you are talking about the Rebellion of Korah, as mention in the book of Jude.

Korah or Kórach (Hebrew: קֹרַח), son of Izhar, is an individual who appears in the Book of Numbers of the Hebrew Bible, known for leading a rebellion against Moses. WIKEPEDIA.

He is the famous one whom Moses said this about:

Numbers 16:29-40 (HCSB)
29 If these men die ⌊naturally⌋ as all people would, and suffer the fate of all, then the LORD has not sent me.
30 But if the LORD brings about something unprecedented, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them along with all that belongs to them so that they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have despised the LORD.”
31 Just as he finished speaking all these words, the ground beneath them split open.
32 The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households, all Korah’s people, and all ⌊their⌋ possessions.
33 They went down alive into Sheol with all that belonged to them. The earth closed over them, and they vanished from the assembly.
34 At their cries, all ⌊the people of Israel⌋ who were around them fled because they thought, “The earth may swallow us too!”
35 Fire also came out from the LORD and consumed the 250 men who were presenting the incense.
36 Then the LORD spoke to Moses:
37 “Tell Eleazar son of Aaron the priest to remove the firepans from the burning debris, because they are holy, and scatter the fire far away.
38 As for the firepans of those who sinned at the cost of their own lives, make them into hammered sheets as plating for the altar, for they presented them before the LORD, and the firepans are holy. They will be a sign to the Israelites.”
39 So Eleazar the priest took the bronze firepans that those who were burned had presented, and they were hammered into plating for the altar,
40 just as the LORD commanded him through Moses. It was to be a reminder for the Israelites that no unauthorized person outside the lineage of Aaron should approach to offer incense before the LORD and become like Korah and his followers.

Jude 1:11 (HCSB)
11 Woe to them! For they have traveled in the way of Cain, have abandoned themselves to the error of Balaam for profit, and have perished in Korah’s rebellion.

He apparently thought you can mix Paganism with the True religion and make a more perfect religion. He was the instigator in making the Golden Calf. There are morog

Here is an artist that pickered this incident in this drawing:

No you have believed a lie. Sorry, but you need to know the Truth:

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Titus 3:5-7 (HCSB)
5 He saved usnot by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.

Romans 4:4-5 (NET)
4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation.
5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.

Ephesians 2:4-5 (HCSB)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us,
5 made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NJB)
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9 not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.

Romans 5:8-11 (HCSB)
8 But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
9 Much more then, since we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from wrath.
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, ⌊then how⌋ much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!
11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have now received this reconciliation through Him.

1 Corinthians 15:10 (HCSB)
10 But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Romans 11:6 (NASB)
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 3:5 (HCSB)
5 ⌊It is⌋ not that we are competent in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our competence is from God.

Philippians 2:13 (HCSB)
13 For it is God who is working in you, ⌊enabling you⌋ both to desire and to work out His good purpose.

Ephesians 1:11-14 (HCSB)
11 We have also received an inheritance in Him, predestined according to the purpose of the One who works out everything in agreement with the decision of His will,
12 so that we who had already put our hope in the Messiah might bring praise to His glory.
13 When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him [Long before you did any works, so Obedience is PART of our Agape LOVE, and Not Salvation.], you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.
14 He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.

2 Timothy 2:19 (ESV)
19 But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal:The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”

John 10:27-28 (HCSB)
27 My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

2 John 1:2 (HCSB)
2 because of the truth that remains in us and will be with us forever.

🕆

We teach that Obedience has NEVER been part of Salvation, HOWEVER, Obedience is part of Our AGAPE LOVE, Rom. 5:5.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 “If you love Me [Born Again], you will keep My commands.

1 John 5:3 (HCSB)
3 For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands. Now His commands are not a burden,

Only Obedience that is done out of Agape LOVE, is accepted by GOD. It has NOTHING to do with SALVATION or maintaining it.

1 John 3:14-19 (HCSB)
14 We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.
15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.
16 This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his ⌊need⌋—how can God’s love reside in him?
18 Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action.
19 This is how we will know we belong to the truth and will convince our conscience in His presence,

🕆
A person of faith who helps a stranger in distress or goes the extra mile is not earning salvation by works. They are already saved and that is the evidence of their salvation. If we were to follow your example, we would be passing by on the other side.

The entire bible is the mind of Christ and no where does it say that works save us, help save us or top off salvation.....

In the grace you are, having been SAVED OUT OF FAITH, and that NOT IF YOURSELVES, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD AND NOT OF WORKS LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.

Read that carefully....salvation is a gift of faith!
You are speaking of the unsaved, then works follow. If we do not see work from someone who identifies as a Christian, I would be concerned.

The quickest way to shut someone off from hearing you, even if you're the most knowledgeable person in the whole world, is to offend them.

"A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city, And contentions are like the bars of a citadel." - Proverbs 18:19

Talk down to them, mock them, belittle them and they won't hear another word you say.
You can add slander to that list.

then you can finally maybe understand why no one listens to a word you say

They know the shepherd will give them food, and like most people they seek after themselves, what they don't know is that after the shepherd has fleeced them, he will send them to the slaughterhouse. We need to ensure we follow the GOOD shepherd.
Funny thing

the lamb of God was slaughtered in our place. So we do not have to be sent to the slaughter house.

interesting concept huh?

it’s called the Gospel

That is not the Spirit of Christ who said to turn the other cheek. I recognised your spirit as soon as I met with you.
Do you ever have anything to add to any discussion?

I have. I prayed asking what my spiritual gift is because I wasn't sure. Even taken online tests. However I think the proof of gifts is in life not an online test.
If we want to find a gift, go out and do, your gift will come naturally, others may even see it before you do.

As would I, and I would talk to them in private see what the issue was pray harder for them,

but we are not God, we can not judge their heart or their faith.

saying they are not saved is playing God.

You miss the point. If we follow the imposter, we will go to the slaughter house. If you notice in the video, the shepherd who was feeding the sheep was actually luring them away from the green grass. That is not my shepherd. My shepherd does not tempt us away with wordly goods, which is what that shepherd was doing..

How are you going to know if you can teach if you do not go teach, How do you know if you have the gift of helps if you do not help.

Another thing....you don't even know what you are talking about....it is biblical to JUDGE a doctrine being peddled by the word of God....boy your true colors are now shining through...funny how everyone is talking about you behind the scenes and how you talk put of both sides of your mouth.......do me a favor....do not address me with the blather like what is found in your last few posts....and do not ever imply or call me an atheist ever again....!!! And make no mistake, you have aligned yourself with one who is false...good luck with the judgement of God
Whispered knows exactly what she is talking about.

Those who are Gods lambs know his voice and follow him

even if they did follow an impostor. as soon as the shepperd leaves the flock to come get him, What does the bible say, The sheep hears his voice and follows.

Sheep act on instinct,

what part of this can you not understand?

nope

there you go with your bearing false witness again

Working to maintain salvation is works.

All christians should serve people. everyone here agrees with this. It is the motivation behind it that makes it work or not work.

Yes, Jesus does require works to be saved.
Do not argue with me, argue with Jesus.

This is a weak powerless argument which is far from God.

Any false teacher can clain their beliefs represent what His words said, then cherry pick a few out of context verses to push any false idea that want.🤦‍♂️

He clearly stated in The Sermon on The Mount that in order to have our sins forgiven, we must first forgive others their trespasses. He also clearly stated if we do not forgive others The Father will not forgive us. Forgiveness of others is a righteous act we must perform to be forgiven by The Father.
^This is your own summary of your own understanding of what Jesus said.

Jesus also said He will in no wise cast you out if you BELIEVE in Him.

He does not contradict Himself, so before you play the gross carnal game of pretending others haven't read the same bible to elevate your own understanding..
maybe take the time to type something which has truth in it instead of a false narrative....

"jo" says : Forgiveness of others is a righteous act we must perform to be forgiven by The Father

Scripture says : " Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost"

"jo" says : "Jesus does require works to be saved "

Scripture says : For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
