Elijah must be a Christian..not Judaism

We are talking about one man who can run the whole planet for God till Jesus comes down at the second coming...nukes don't scare the man...or others....Jer was told don't fear them...Ezek was told...i have made your forehead like adamant stone harder then flint to resist them

I just had an aaa haaa moment :) the antichrist is not anti as in opposing Christ, it is anti as in it is somebody saying they are like a type of Christ. That is why there will be lots of antichrists. I actually now understand exactly why you keep referring to the Muslims because you see antichrist as somebody opposing Christ. Antichrist is another false Christ not our Saviour Jesus Christ :)
Antichrist does mean an opposition to Christ. The antichrist spirit opposes Christ it rejects Christ, his message and his authority.
From the beginning -"You shall not surely die!"

If you see Antichrist as a replacement or counterfeit Jesus, Islam provides that also. Islam has a false Jesus (Arabic Isa)

An examination of the verses about Jesus
in the Quran indicates that the Koranic Jesus
neither died nor was killed, but he was raised to the presence of Allah

And (on account of) their saying, "We killed the Messiah, 'Isa son of Maryam, Messenger of Allah." They did not kill him and they did not crucify him but it was made to seem so to them. Those who argue about him are in doubt about it. They have no real knowledge of it, just conjecture. But they certainly did not kill him. Allah raised him up to Himself. Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. (Surat an-Nisa: 157-158)

In their eschatology Jesus returns to earth in the last days with the Mahdi (The Islamic Messiah figure) to convert all the Christians to Islam and fight the Islamic version of the antichrist The "Dajjal who will be killed by Jesus".

We can't take The Koran as any source of real truth. We must use The Biblical text as our source.
However the Islamic model of the end times is set up with an Antichrist/ Man-beast figure and a false prophet.

I would encourage you to abandon the phrase, "top Christians". There are no such things, and the phrase only makes it look like you consider yourself one of them; i.e.: arrogant, self-righteous, and unteachable. Unfortunately, the rest of your post suggests that you do, in fact, have these traits.

Genuine Christians come with a wide variety of knowledge, understanding, focus, and interests. Labeling those who don't hold to a particular view as "blind" is completely unhelpful. I'm surprised that you, who claim to be a pastor, would do this.

John the Baptist fulfilled all of Malachi chapter 4.

The entirety of Malachi is about the coming of Jesus. The first coming. There is little to no allusion to the second coming.

You said you train pastors, I think you are disqualified.

I appreciate you bringing up Malachi. I haven’t read that book in awhile. I must admit I need to brush up on the Daniels prophecy and Johns concerning the “ Man of Lawlessness”. I have also seen documentaries that indicate the The Scarlet Harlot as the Vatican. Would you consider the city of Babylon in Revaluation as the Vatican?

Malachi 3:1 :)

Why are you ignoring FACTS?
Catholics are not Christ deniers. To keep saying so is slander.
Islam was founded expressly to oppose Christ.
There are some theories that Rome was behind the start of Islam.

Good day Timothy5378!

According to Jesus, Elijah has already come:

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence, and the violent lay claim to it. For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to accept it, he (John the Baptist) is the Elijah who was to come.

"The disciples asked Him, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

Jesus replied, “Elijah does indeed come, and he will restore all things. But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him whatever they wished. In the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.”

Then the disciples understood that He was speaking to them about John the Baptist.
===========================================================================

John the Baptist came as a type of Elijah, fulfilling Mal.4:5-6.
Amen brother. We agree on something!!!:D

Really?
How is baptising babies not "biblical"?

"There are three definite cases of household baptisms recorded in the New Testament, and there is a strong inference that a fourth case included the entire household. The case where household baptism is strongly implied is that of Cornelius (Acts 10:47-48; 11:14). The three definite cases of household baptisms are those of Lydia (Acts 16:15), the Philippian jailor (Acts 16:33-34), and Stephanas (1 Cor. 1:16)."
Excerpt from, Truth Magazine.

A person was a member of the house hold upon the 8th day. (See circumcision laws).

So we know they baptized whole households and we know that from 8 days old, you are a household member.

Are we to assume that none of these house holds included any infants or children. I think that is a bit of a jump.

The Bible is never specific about infant baptism, but can we assume from silence? If we make that the standard a lot of things come to question. There is a whole host of things we know because of principal ideas in the Bible.
Example: we know getting stoned on drugs is a sin not because drugs are mentioned specifically, but the general principles established about drinking alcohol, and being sober minded.

I don't know that I would through out a practice that was done by the established church for as far back as there are records just because the anabaptists theology got some traction some 1500 years later.
You assumed that there are infants baptized in those verses...
understand the requirement for baptism...

You assume there are not. I pointed to customs of the time to suggest there more than likely were.

Just a thought, not a claim. Istanbul is known as the City on the Seven Hills. Built on 2 continents & also referred to as guardian of invaluable remains via 3 world empires
Indeed. Istanbul, formerly Constantinople the head of the Eastern Roman Empire literally 'sits on many waters'. From 324 AD until 1453 when it was conquered by Muslims. The Western Roman Empire lost most of it's power by 300. We miss so much if we insist on focusing everything through a Western lens.

the whole reason we know it was practiced very early in the church is that we have surviving writings from those times of bishops and elders and other church leadership & theologians strongly condemning it and urging people to stop doing it.

the justification for it has dramatically changed over time. if you can take the time to listen to the series of lectures i posted above, it is very educational both in the history & reasoning behind it, and all the scriptures that deal with it. 28 lessons each ~ 45 minutes long; it's a seminary class.

Can he not be BOTH? At once a counterfeit imposter AND an (attempted) opposing force to the genuine Messiah/Christ?

Scripture does indicate he opposes the authority of God. He sets himself up as a replacement.

2 Thessalonians 2 (KJV)

"3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

2 Thessalonians 2 (NIV)

"3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness [sin] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God."

Jesus said there will be many antichrists.
I think it was John who said that in one of his epistles.
It's true the antichrist spirit has influenced many people throughout human history. And possibly inhabited some. But there is one end-time Antichrist who will appear and whom Jesus will defeat. It's been a major prophetic theme from Genesis 3 all the way to and through Revelation.
