Jesus is the source of all Blessings. The Cross (The Blood of Jesus) is the means how we receive the blessings.

It is through what Jesus did for us that we receive salvation, our eternal life but we must not forget that it is God the Father that we are given that eternal life. God the Father gave us Jesus.

There are many blessings that are given with no reference to or requirement for the cross, so the thread title is a baited question (as are most from this OP, sadly).

He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:45b)

The most important blessing is the certainty of eternal life, which is only available through faith in Jesus Christ, His atoning death on the cross, His burial and His resurrection.

It happens to the least likely. Unannounced, from out of the blue even to those who cannot find any desire for God. They awaken to a new life centered in the fruit of the Holy Spirit and a hunger for truth and righteousness.

“The wind blows where it wants to and you hear the sound of it, but you don’t know where the wind comes from or where it is going. It is the same with every person who is born from the Spirit.”” John 3:8 (NCV)

When you hear the gospel it hits home and you know its true. And you begin living according to it. Living Matthew 6:33 follows.

A FEW EXAMPLES OF BLESSINGS SCRIPTURES THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO THE CROSS. BLESSINGS COME DOWN FROM GOD THE FATHER.

James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Luke 6:38 - Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Numbers 6:24-26 - The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work:

Proverbs 16:7 - When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Matthew 6:30-33 - Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith?

Philippians 2:13 - For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.
