The only one confused is you! With your heretical non-Trinitarian theology. As I told you many times, "being and person are different things!" You give them the same definition and that is wrong in any language.
So is Jesus a person, a being and God by Himself or is He God only with the other two?

This may help explain what you mean by 'person' and 'being'.

I too would like to know how you trinitarians will answer this one. Because I myself am really confused as to what you trinitarians believe. Do you believe in a three entity concept that all three are needed to have one united Supreme Being? What is it exactly you trinitarians believe? This is what I have been trying to work out.

Then why is it so difficult for you or anyone to explain how three distinct persons can be one being?

Example, the baptism event; Jesus stood in the water as one person, the Father seem to be distinct from Jesus as He spoke from heaven and the holy spirit also seem to be distinct as He descended in the form of a dove. Using this scenario, Is it possible to explain why you think they are one God and not three Gods.

Or are you being forced to claim they are one because of some verses in the OT that says God is one.

i don't know why you keep saying it's difficult when people keep easily showing you.
at His baptism it is shown how there is distinction, and you yourself have said 'oneness is natural' to comprehend.

so there you have it.

Oneness is the exact opposite of 'distinct persons' and it can not be both, the reason no one has yet come out to explain.

Because they are dealing with impossibilities.

With you it may be impossible .. You are like a Pharisee looking to control/impress someone with your vanity ..
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

if you had read the parts of my paper I posted, I clearly defined the differences between "being" or ousia and "person" or hypostasis.

God has one being or substance. That is his essence. The Father is a person, Jesus is a person, and the Holy Spirit is a person.

But:
The Father is NOT the Son
The Father is NOT the Holy Spirit.
The Son is NOT the Holy Spirit.

Acknowledge you me wrong use of the English words, "being" and "persons!" Admit they are completely different words, not the same definition. Then you will have a hope of understanding the Trinity.

As it stands now, you have acknowledged your confusion. Confess your erroneous use of the 2 words, and then we can help you understand that without a Triune God, you cannot be a. Christian, you cannot be saved or sanctified.

I don't know why the mathematical approach you tried didn't make it click for him.
I suggested hyperspace and multi-dimensions a while back but you did it much better than me, more thoroughly.
I'm out of ideas now

Admitting that 'being' and 'person' are two different words in the Trinity context is not an issue and was never an issue.

Ok, now that they are different words;

Is Jesus one being by Himself? Is Jesus one person by Himself? Is Jesus God by himself or is He God only with the other two persons?

This are the questions that may help me understand and i don't think they are hard questions. For a third time i'm asking, no PHD papers needed.

Hi NWL , I remember a Watchtower magazine saying it was now decided that JW's could accept blood transfussions .. If your truth comes from NY HQ's how can you trust them if they keep changing from where they had it wrong ? And do you believe Jesus was murdered on a torture stake instead of a cross ?
My truth doesn't come from the WT society it comes from the bible. Moreover, the stance on blood transfusion has not changed the WT society still maintain that blood transfusion goes contrary to what the bible teaches, "to keep abstaining...from blood" (Acts 15:28,29) so you must have misread something when you say you remember reading that they now accept transfusion, furthermore, they have always maintained that to accept blood transfusion is up for every Christian and their conscience to decide whether or not they accept transfusions.

There is one thing I want to know, those who defend and support the trinity, who do you pray to? Do you pray to the Father just as Jesus prayed to the Father, or do you pray to Jesus? I ask this because I do not know.

Examine this post of yours. You have a concept of God. You then make the bible fit it.

If you start from another place you will see what we see.

No "trinitarian" can fully explain God.
Like paul we see in part. We see The Father is eternal Diety and a person. He looks like us.
We see Jesus. Eternal and God -Man. He is a person. We see the Holy Spirit. Diety and referred to as a person.
Jesus prayed that we would be one as THEY are one.

You can not roll that into human mental pidgeon holes.
It is not of our known dimension. Not a natural dynamic, but a supernatural one.

Amen Angela! :) There is one God in essence/nature; yet three distinct persons. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Once again, when Jesus himself admitted "I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God. " It is clear that Jesus has a God.

How can you say Jesus is the same one God, when Jesus made it perfectly clear that he has a God.

The thing is you trinitarians refuse to accept Jesus has a God.
Under that logic,so does the Father.

In hebrews 1 the Father says of the Son "thy throne o God is forever and ever..."

Actually we don't need "essence /nature"

It clouds the word .

God is one.
One God
God is 3 period. The word confirms it eloquently.
One yet 3.
Not "essence"or "nature"....just one.

A similar verse here

Psalm 110:1 "
The Lord says to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.” (ESV)

The Hebrew is Hashem said unto Adoni. Both titles for God alone.
This wouldn't make sense without the co-equal Father and Son.

So how many Gods are those?
