Trump is only hard to handle for those who are committed to the Swamp, the Deep State, the destruction of America, and the shredding of the Constitution.

Everyone on the Left HATES Trump because he cannot be controlled by them. And (unlike past presidents) he is not afraid to hit back when falsely accused.

He is already a wealthy man, he is not a politician but an astute businessman, and he is committed to *Make America Great Again*. This does not mean that he is flawless, but his underlying principles are to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law. And that is what the Left hates.

Sadly, it looks like the Socialist isn't going to be on the ticket in November. Biden is! :( Now, the key, if things go as the primaries are making it appear to date at least, is, who's Biden's VP choice? Hillary? If so then this whole thing makes sense. Biden demonstrates every time he opens his mouth now that his dementia is growing worse . Sad, and yet, it is irresponsible of him to continue or even enter the campaign when he was showing signs of dementia well before this run.

(This is a compilation of Bidenisms compiled from 2013)

Now, the question should then be, so why is he running?

I didn't think he'd get this far. However, if Sanders drops out, and I'll believe that when he says so himself, because after his conceding to HRC in 2016 I was certain he'd go all out come 2020, then all that is left is Joe Biden.
If he is it, and announces HRC as his VP we know why he ran. Because when he is declared unfit to serve shortly after taking the oath, guess who's President?
The Left know HRC's criminal history, unprosecuted, as was her boss, and her dedication to the destruction of this country, beyond espionage and paying to start the coup against Trump, would insure she'd lose if she ran again in 2020. However, if Joe names the woman he knew formerly as FLOTUS and then as SoS, then it doesn't matter that she's second on the ticket because Joe and his handlers figure, people will vote for Biden just on the merits of his being a former VP, again as they're want to do , ignoring his (unprosecuted) criminal history as well, and because he's a Democrat running to beat the Donald Trump the Left has worked to smear for 4 years.

And remember, in the video above, his comment all those years ago about Hillary being a better candidate for VP than himself.

Picture that! Four years of recovery from the 8 years of Obama. Only to get it steered back at a rapid pace given the Dem's are sure to do their darnedest yet again in the 2020 election to corrupt the process and at least retain majority in the House. Or, in both House and Senate, God forbid. And then low and behold, HRC is put into the VP seat till Biden "officially" resigns his office due to medical reasons. Which should have kept him out of the campaign in the first place.

With the trail of bodies that have followed HRC, She's the last person that I would want to be my VP.

When I read the thread title, I realized two things:

1. This was about American politics.

2. The title is an oxymoron.

You live in Canada. Why do our politics matter to you at all? You have enough messed up people running your country to keep you busy for a lifetime.

I like Trump. He's done more for this country in these four years to the good, than his predecessor did when he dedicated himself to destroying the country for eight.

I think Sanders is a shame to the party. Even when he is a Democrat. Imagine that getting into office. We thought Obama was bad.
And who would he pick for his vp? Oh, I know, Cortez!
If that happened I'd likely move to Canada till it was all over. Dumb and Dumber go to D.C. . It would be like a bad movie that runs for four years.

I gotta say, I've drank with Joe. He visits around some of the towns near D.C. and goes into the veterans clubs from time to time. He's a great guy to talk to as long as you don't talk politics. He's funny, charming, and a lot of fun.
It's sad to see him make all these mistakes in his campaigning. I feel for the guy. He's nice in his private life. Doesn't have too good a record in the public servant part of it. Maybe that's why he doesn't like to talk politics.

Everything that happens in the USA impacts on Canada in a major way, since the USA is the biggest trading partner of Canada. In fact the president of the USA has always been regarded as the leader of the free world. Trump has been restoring what Obama destroyed, and if Biden had even the remotest change of being president, he would totally destroy the USA.

Americans fear socialism, with a vengeance. There who creation was made on individualism, money and prosperity with limited government involvment. It is a bad way of running a nation, as the poor, the sick the elderly are left behind. It also gives no consideration to those who just want to live a quiet stress free life. as there country has been constantly at war with someone or another. Now they will defend that dogma at any cost. So thats why socialism scares the heck out of them, real socialism I must stress is Norways Socialism etc.

I'm not American, and apparently neither are you, so I suggest we don't try to analyze the American view of socialism from the outside.

I must disagree vigorously with you regarding the nature of socialism. Socialism takes from people without caring about their willingness or ability to give, and gives to people without considering their real need or capability. It destroys initiative in everyone. It is a sad mockery of Christian charity.

I never said Canada wasn't needed. I think it is really weird that someone is passionate about our American politics when our politics and politicians have no meaning for the one talking about our politics. Have they ever gone off about their Canadian system?
To put a fine point on it, the politics of Mexico affects us too. The politics of every country does the same.

I think they're an American who registered as a Canadian. Otherwise, their carping about Democrats here is ridiculous. They should look at the fools in the Canadian system of government.

'The American view of socialism' doesn't make sense. It is a political ideology so it doesn't matter where you're from it's always the same. Having said that, it does seem most americans don't understand it at all!

Mexico and Canada ARE our biggest trade in the world and pre- Trump, all of our President's were leaders not only of North America but the entire world!!!

Have you listened to Trump? his only complaint about Dem's is that we want to open borders ( still pandering to those follower's) to all immigrants.( Ironically, I had to look up the spelling) To this day under the Obama admin. deported more Immigrants. then any admin... What is it that you think that Dem's are going to do or not do for you???

Biden is far worse than when this discussion about his run for office began. Some think the DNC is going to pull him from the race during the DNC Convention. But who would they put in his stead? Some think the Mayor of New York. I don't like to think about that at all.
I hope there isn't a debate because if Biden is still in the first choice seat at the time, he's going to get destroyed by Trump in such a meeting. I'd hate to see that. The Dem's have no fit candidate to take JB's place.
Friends were saying that JB's VP candidate would be between HRC and Michelle Obama. Were it MO it would mean when JB is made to leave office due to mental health issues that MO would take his place. And it would actually be Barack acting as shadow President because his wife as we know is clearly not qualified for that office.

What a nightmare either way. No time to be a Democrat.

That's a capital "A" in Americans.
Do you live in a Socialist country?
You may wish to give American's more credit. For example, we know no country that has had a Socialist government governing has ever sustained with great success. Just the opposite in fact. "failed socialist countries list"
