Faith is a gift from God...

What kind of God would give us such a gift and toss us out from His flock ?

Many of us as His children have walked sideways from the straight and narrow , but His rod and staff comfort us back with discipline...

The leeches , apostate believers , they are the ones who fall away , because they are the ones who were never of us...

My God of my bible keeps me steadfast until the day my God calls me home...
He is worthy of all praise , today , tomorrow & always...
I didn't take it that way. I wore out my welcome a long time ago, it's that time. I just want to make sure I can't come back in a moment of weakness. If you could contact the mod and delete me I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
I do not know how that happened. It had part of Pisteuo comments, looking like they were part of mine. He has been begging people to report him so he can get BANNED. It must be a Feather in his cap or something like that to get BANNED. That is why I responded the way I did.

I mean, upon reading it in its entirety, I'm not really sure what your point is.
Deu 31:8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

Deu 31:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
Deu 31:17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

Anyone is free to interpret that as they see fitting the whole counsel of God. Maybe we will even see an interpretation offered, or I will just be called names for pointing out the context.
What I see is, God will always keep His end of the covenant, no one needs to worry about that, but if people forsake Him and go after other gods, and dont return to Him, God will also forsake them as He promises to do in the chapter

Not many other ways to read that, but im open to any alternatives
Gods covenant is not two sided

he did not say I will give you eternal life as long as you keep your end of the covenant

God said I came to offer you a gift you can not earn, if you want it take it, if not I will not force it on you, but it’s there, and will be there until it’s too late.

You are ignoring our are ignorant of two facts... The fall was Adam forsaking God for his own god, himself. And human depravity is man forsaking God for whatever little g god catches his fancy. It is only in perfection that we are free of this fact.

All the letters in the New Testament are addressed to saved people, but not everyone in a group of professing believers is saved. Unbelievers temporarily stand next to believers, but are eventually cut off. We’ve seen this with Judas Iscariot in John chapter 15 and also with those in 1 John 2:19 who went out from us but we’re not of us.
"you (Judas) stand by faith" - Romans 11:20

Utterly preposterous.

you say that " we are saved by belief, then you undercut this by saying that If one is not living right, or sinning to much or too often, then salvation can be " lost"
No, your sin can only cause you to lose your salvation if it hardens your heart to unbelief and you turn away from God:

"12See to it...that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness." - Hebrews 3:12-13

The danger with thinking you can't lose your salvation is you won't be careful of the danger of sinning yourself into unbelief. If you carelessly and repeatedly sin you run the risk of becoming more and more hardened in heart by the deceitfulness of sin, turning away from God, all the while thinking you're saved because you believe you can't lose your salvation.

I'm pretty sure I understood him perfectly.
But feel free to tell me what you think he was saying.
"addressed to saved people, but not everyone in a group of professing believers is saved." Key word "professing" saying you are a thing whether or not you are... Kinda like claiming you understand something.

But the saved people can lose their salvation. Well that is what Paul taught anyway.
1Cor 9:27 Instead I subdue my body and make it my slave, so that after preaching to others I myself will not be disqualified.
