Actually the place for the crossing that is described in detail in scripture is about 1,000 ft.

Wine at that velocity would probably kill everyone in the vicinity.

GOD must have moved 100, 250, 500 million, one billions tons of water?

The whole event the Exodus is a parable. .using the things seen the temporal to signify the things not seen the eternal, supernatural.

That law of interpretation that informs us without parables the Holy Spirit of Christ spoke not is not limited to the new testament.

Dry land called good as God approval is one of the metaphors.

The supernatural what I will call a parable converter must be applied .

2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

There are several proposed sites. I’m sure all are believed to be in agreement with scripture by those who hold them. The Reed Sea Hypothesis has been the main traditional view. The Western side of the Sinai Peninsula, north of the Gulf of Suez. It surprises me if it is that deep there.

Yes, I am well aware of Reed Sea Hypothesis, and it bears absolutely no resemblance to the route described in Exodus.

How could a person calculate the supernatural things of God not seen, from the things of men seen?

Can't find God through a wind viscosity meter (anemometer ) or under a microscope.

I would think the right tools for the job would be necessary to rightly divide. 2 Corinthians 4:18 would be a good place to start .

I am afraid I have no patience for those who attempt to trivialize the text. Please find someone else to annoy.
 
OH, what is your view on the idea that the crossing point was Nuweiba? There is a large beach and a natural bridge that is much shallower than most of the Red Sea.
