It's going to be OK, it really is. Everything is going to work out.

Romans 8
8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Your opening statement here is the message I receive on Good Friday, 1969 when the Holy Spirit entered into me saying, "Everything is going to be just fine."

Praise God, Yah, amen.

Jeremiah 31 (ESV)

10 “Hear the word of the Lord, O nations,
and declare it in the coastlands far away;
say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him,
and will keep him as a shepherd keeps his flock.’
11 For the Lord has ransomed Jacob
and has redeemed him from hands too strong for him.
12 They shall come and sing aloud on the height of Zion,
and they shall be radiant over the goodness of the Lord,
over the grain, the wine, and the oil,
and over the young of the flock and the herd;
their life shall be like a watered garden,
and they shall languish no more.
13 Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance,
and the young men and the old shall be merry.
I will turn their mourning into joy;
I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.
14 I will feast the soul of the priests with abundance,
and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness,
declares the Lord.”

To any who have been following this thread. I know this is not earth-shattering news, but I went away for a moment to watch an out take from Murdoch Mysteries, it laste just over a minute and the last sentence was, "Everything is going to be fine." I like that because, I believe that. Praise our Savior, amen.

Isaiah 61:3
To appoint to them that mourn in Zion, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

1COR. 2:9.
But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man,
(((the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.)))

JOB 19

25 I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
26 And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
27 I myself will see him
with my own eyes – I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

I know this thread is almost 5 months old, but seeing the title, just breathed life into my bones. Thanks Oyster.

2 Corinthians 4:18
As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Romans 5:5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I've been sitting in Proverbs 15 lately.. here is such a good one for "what should I do next?" Reminds me of a line in an old Ron Kenoly song... You go ahead, go ahead, go ahead..go ahead, go ahead... don't stop!
That's what I'm going to do today, and it's going to be ok!

Proverbs 15:21
Folly is a joy to him who lacks sense.
But a man of understanding walks straight ahead.

Today was the most "ok" day I have had at work all week!!(It's been incredibly challenging for the past 5 months).
I listened to a message this past weekend about God liking little. There are so many instances of people in the Bible where people thought they only had a 'little'... and God did amazing things with it. Loaves and fish, Gideon with the tiny army scaled down, the widow with just a 'little oil and flour', a mustard seed of faith.... God surely likes little.

I think it's just hard sometimes to get started when we feel tired, disappointed, hurt... you name it. So... I started with a pinky praise to God in the car. I know it sounds ridiculous. But honestly, it WORKED as it really got me 'un stuck' and the prayer and community with the Lord just started flowing after that! I began thanking Him and things came to me to pray for that I just never would have thought of on my own.
I gave God my 'little' and He surely showed up today. It's going to be ok.
