Sorry, brother Placid, washing hands is good. Trinking oregano oil,may be good for your body, but does nothing to avoid to got the coronavirus. For round 80% of the people corona is not am danger, but for the 20%. They can die. With ore without oregano oil.
Wash hands, do not touch face, stay close to home as much as possible and keep your distance .... actually quite simple.
None of this outbreak would be happening if people followed basic hygiene... that is the real tragedy.

No, I believe that I was agreeing with you. I just completed your last sentence, 'for Christians to indulge in this idiocy is just plain'...asinine.
That's the problem of just straight text format. So much can be lost with out facial expressions, body language, and voice inflection.

I believe in taking precautions for those who are at risk. So if I go to Granny's house, I'm gonna wash my hands, take a shower and wear fresh clothes and not stop in other places first, to make sure I don't carry any sickness in to her. She could be succumbed to any virus right now especially flu, or this covid-19.
We just have to act like we have some sense about us. This don't mean shut the world down. It means practice hygiene, and take some extra precautions with those that are at greater risk.

This is not about the virus it is about the health care system and overloaded and being able treat those who are sick and then those about to become sick.
There are only 100 000 ICU beds in the entire USA a population of over 300 000 million.

And your plans to visit Granny your precautions are not enough you could be asymptomatic, studies have shown younger people can incubate the virus for up to 24 days.
the average is 4 to 14 days for older people.

So you would have to have been at home for a month with no symptoms before seeing someone vulnerable.

I thought I invited you to ignore me.
Was my apology not enough for you?

dear 11th

tell you what

I'll trade you 2 sighs and a decent head banging on the wall for half the patience you display

since I often go from a to z with not a whole lot in between, it could be a fair trade

or are you in the closet right now?

Yes, be off with you woman . . . .
I see no foul in inviting the end of a conversation when impass gives way to snarky half insults, or when a conversation has entered into a futile back and forth in which neither party will budge.

Low rate of symptomatic verses asymptomatic cases in China and higher rates in the younger population in other nations afterwards might indicate mutation.

Italy is releasing data continually to other countries unlike China and Iran so the medical community is gaining a better understanding all the time.

Front line workers are literally dying in Europe and that anyone can be so cavalier is just quite unbelievable.

The do not even have enough medical supplies to protect themselves.
I know, i work in hospital.

It makes a person wonder if there was not a huge Chinese presence in Egypt during the plagues!

God bless our family in China. God bless the Chinese in general...This is the will of our Lord, Jesus, Yeshua.

Put down the pitchforks and the torches and get with the Gospel and remain there… I do not recal Jesus teaching us to dislike any people, but if you have post it.

I have not read this, certainly with any virus no demographic is immune... as the numbers grow more range is seen I think .....but time will tell.

Our Father allowed man to warm up the globe in his foolishness, and now He is aloowing man to demonstrate his callousness further in playing some kind of blame game, especially for the "very righteous."

The answer to this current event is to follow our faith in Jesus, Yeshua, and secondly to employ international cooperation of the peoples, not necessarily the governments, since they all seem to be in a quandary.

It may help most to remember we are to teat others exactly as we would want to be treated. It is in the Book!

Yea, me too. I work for a contractor who has contracts inside several hospitals, some being among the biggest hospitals in the world. The precautions they are taking... You fill out a form before you enter the hospital. I don't know what hospital staff has to do, but for contractors, you fill out a form. The form has 3 red line questions that if you answer yes to you are denied entry; do you have fever? Do you have a cough? Have you travelled out side of the country? That's it, you answer the questions then go about your business. One hospital has reduced contractor entry points to just one door, and has a mandatory flu shot as well.

In my post on info on viruses, I was not implying that Oregano Oil was a cure for the Coronavirus, but quoted from online, and suggested that others check it out. --- And the following was a quote from online,
Quote: Carvacrol, the primary active component in oregano oil, effectively kills norovirus, a common cause of food-borne illness in hospitals, schools, and cruise ships. The compound works by breaking down the tough outer coat of the virus, which is the leading cause of vomiting and diarrhea around the world. The oil of oregano is taken by mouth for intestinal parasites, allergies, sinus pain, arthritis, cold and flu, swine flu, earaches, and fatigue. (And one list included e-coli.)

I also added the way it could be used and suggested it is a simple home remedy that might cure some of the list of ailments mentioned, like the common flu, which kills many people a year. --- And at the same time build up our own immune system.

My suggestion at the bottom is in line with what is happening: 'If we can use a home remedy to perhaps build up resistance, --- as well as washing our hands frequently, so that they are clean when we touch our face, or food, we will be doing what we can to help ourselves, and hopefully others.' --- (Should be no problem touching our face if our hands are clean, since we do it constantly.)
--- Last evening I phoned a 93 year old friend who is in a nursing home to see how they were being taken care of, and He said, "All is well, I have no complaints.' --- He said, 'There is no virus here, they go down to the dining room for meals as usual, but they are not allowed to go outside or have visitors in, so we are locked in.'
--- A good report from the city in China that was locked down, "Yesterday there were no new cases of the virus reported.
Blessings
