Did you attend Sunday service or was it on Saturday? What was the sermon about at your church?
...
I like to watch a lot of online material. Could I include some Wednesday night Prayer meeting study or two in this thread, so as not to offend either the first or seventh day persons, or perhaps some Vespers material also?

Here is a Friday vespers -

Here is an any day one, Inspirational:

If this is not what this thread was about, apologies.

The woman at the well. John 4

We must not discriminate against anyone in the sharing of the gospel.

And despite the fact that all will not believe and accept Jesus, we must deliver the message to everyone just the same.

The leaders and sinners of the nations need to repent and turn to God.

Repent from the belief that:
1) God does not exist
2)That Jesus is not our Lord and Saviour
3)That the Bible is not the words of God.

In spite of the fact that we have a pandemic to deal with, we were still encouraged to follow the instruction in 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season;

But in doing so we must keep safe, by protecting ourselves and also being our brother's keeper by not passing on any illness to them.

We must also obey the law of the government, as long as it does not violate God's laws. In the government putting a restriction on the amount of people who can assembly together, this does not violate God's law. As its fitting that we do what we can so as not to facilitate the spread of the virus unto anyone.

Amen, kim.

We are on lockdown at the island of Luzon, and large gatherings are also prohibited now. Some brethren passed on a link for Sunday worship, but I haven't had the chance to listen yet. I am looking fwd to hearing and worshiping w/ others from these other local churches who have online preaching.

Our first online service was this Sunday morning. It was wonderful: No kids running around the church, no babies crying, etc.

The core message was: Let's fix our eyes on what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary (II COR 04:18).

Online service.

2 Timothy 4:5 English Standard Version (ESV)

As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Some believers (preachers included) are proud of their abstinence from alcohol, but are intoxicated with spiritual pride,

a great many things, but in large part the serpent as a type of Christ -- Moses' rod, the brazen serpent -- how this relates to the ark of the testimony.

this was 2 recordings from 2008 uploaded over the weekend; my pastor didn't record a new lecture this week.

We had a little sermonette about the little donkey that brought Jesus on Palm Sunday. That even a little donkey can be made to be just as important as talk about the people who put the palm fronds out.

The resurrection.,,of course!
Encounters at the tomb...and what Jesus did after that. It made me quite hungry for grilled fish.

God allows us to suffer for a period of time in order to strengthen our faith. But He will never neglect us.

Psalm 16

Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust O my soul, you have said to the LORD, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”

We, the people of God, are like dew drops that reflect the sun rays in the early morning. Without Him we gleam no more.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Some people are only on fire for the Lord when things are going their way.

Some will get angry and even curse God when things fall apart. But we are to give thanks both in the good times and bad.

We must keep the fire burning at all times and not be lukewarm.

With all the problems going on in the world, we have lost focus and become distracted from the real problem.

Solomon started off right, but along the way he lost focus. At the end of his days, he made the following statement: Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

This is all that will matter at the end of life's journey. God will not ask us about our race, education or any other accomplishment. He will only ask if we had fulfilled our duty.

God is being patient with mankind. However He will not be patient forever.
