[I know this is old News, from 2016]
I just watched one of the most disturbing Documentaries I have ever seen. Some will remember the standoff in Utah by Ranchers to protest the Bureau of Land Managements unConstitutional control of lands. This was the incident where Ammon Bundy and several others staged an occupation of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
Those interested can research and read the various Articles concerning the incident, and agree or disagree with what Bundy and the others did was "civil disobedience" or not, but, I assure you, I find it hard to believe that anyone can watch the Video of Finicum being gunned down as anything other than an assassination.
I will provide several links for you to view to make it easier to realize what happened.
There are certain undisputed FACTS that can not be ignored in this case. The FIRST and most important is that AT NO TIME did ANY of the protesters EVER point a gun at or threaten to harm ANYONE! In fact, they were actually within their 2nd Amendment rights to have the weapons they were carrying. These were the same weapons they carried every day of their lives, and none of them was EVER arrested or even questioned for carrying the weapons.
The "gist" of this horrible incident is that the FBI set up an ambush on a road where Finicum and another man and a woman and an 18 year old girl were traveling on to go and see the County Sheriff to talk about the situation. The FBI executed a traffic stop on Finicum, and he stopped to talk to them. They did order him out of the truck, but he and the three others feared for their lives, and Finicum told them that he was going to see the Sheriff and this meeting had been set up by Law Enforcement and approved, and they had made this trip more than once.
Oregon State Police were responsible for the shots that killed Finicum.
Finicum them drove on to try and get to the Sheriff where he and the others would be safe, but the FBI had set up a road block and when Finicum tried to go around it, they opened fire. Firing two shots. One missed the truck, but the other hit the truck. Finicum stopped the truck and fearing for the lives of the other three, jumped out of the truck with hands raised, and tried to move away from the truck to draw the fire of the FBI away from the other three. He shouted for them to go ahead and shoot him, this is true, but he did so with hands raised and empty!
FACT; Finicum was shot three times IN THE BACK. The first shot hit him on the left side of his back, and he can be seen reaching for where the round hit, but then quickly raised his hand again, and it was empty. Twice more he was shot in the back, and twice more he instinctively reached for where the rounds hit. Finally, he collapsed, and several, several shots can be heard.
The FBI stated that he was reaching for a weapon, and, even though he was carrying a pistol, HE NEVER ONCE DREW IT.......yet they continued to shoot him in the back. I am still sick to my stomach thinking that Federal Agents/Oregon State Police could have acted in such a way. This was murder. Pure and simple. And one of the Agents was even charged with lying about the incident.

FACT: After all of this was over, the Federal Government arrested and put 26 members of the protesters on trial. ALL 26 of the protesters were found NOT GUILTY of the charges against them by a Jury.

One thing becomes quite clear and that is when the Government controls the STORY, it will reveal exactly what they want it to. I watched the video shown in the Documentary three times, and tried counting the number of shots, but could not keep up with them. There were far more than eight shots.............far more!
They talk about the weapons that were in the truck............YET there is not ONE REPORT of the other man in the truck or the Lady or young girl EVER displaying a weapon, and NO EVIDENCE that the FBI or State Police even knew they were in the truck.
It is a sad day when actions such as this can be justified by weaving together a story AFTER the incident, a sad day.
People who dispute the 2nd Amendment need to understand that this is a real picture of why the Founding Fathers wrote the 2nd Amendment. So the people would have the ability to defend themselves against a tyrannical and powerful Central Government.
During the ENTIRE STANDOFF, not one Protester ever harmed any other person, or fired one single shot!!!!!!!
The Federal and State Judicial Systems may have whitewashed this incident, but I truly believe the Lord God will have the final say in this matter.
