When you're not one of those who are all violent with their hate toward Catholics, then it is clear you're not the one I'm talking to.Even the title of this discussion invites conflict with the question.
Then you get people who claim that hate is of God because God hates. That's some nerve I gotta say. Thinking to make ones self equal to God by hating all the same people he does? That's like a bad punch line or a bumper sticker.
You don't like conflict so you avoid that other forum but here you are interjecting conflict because you didn't read what I said correctly.

Singles forum is not out just because you are separated. A lot of members that post there are separated, and quite a few that are married, including myself. It is a relaxed, fun, laid back forum that promotes genuine fellowship.

As long as I/we have guns in America I/we won't be readily available for murder or torture from the RCC authority .. I have no boss except Jesus, no church or preacher is my Vicar of Christ .. I wouldn't torture any one anyway .. Have you seen some of the torture devices the RCC authority dreamed up and used on people ? If you're actually serious, you're one that if you really are an American should never be allowed to own a gun. The French were also mainly catholic.
in switzerland there is a catholic protestant divide and the two dont really mix with each other.
I have two catholic high schools up the road from me. Only one of my intermediate friends went on to a catholic school even though she wasnt catholic. My intermediate teacher then went on and taught there, I didnt realise she was at the time but many catholics do wear a crucifix or make it obvious they are religious. I had a maths teacher too that went to teach at a catholic school, (even though I know hes a baptist) catholic schools are more strict on their students I suppose, but I have heard instances of extreme bullying.
one of my friends nephew went to a catholic school. He commited suicide, he didnt have a catholic burial though, which is quite different from a normal service I heard. sometimes catholics do come and attend my churrch but their idea of God is way different. They pray rosaries and to saints andmuch more mention of Mary, as well as have shrines etc. I am a bit weirded out by this. I dont question peoples devotion to their church they were raised in though.
one of the creeds mentions the catholic church and everyone tries to explainit as a universal church. I dont think it means roman catholic. But there was a split between eastern or greek orthodox and roman catholic (latin) in the early days of the church if you know anything about church history they call it the great schism.
Catholic in the bible pre-existed both the RCC and the Protestant schism.
Catholic in the bible sense as I recall isn't an institution of men. It is a spiritual union of the faithful. What became the Roman Catholic church, the Roman universal church, is what occurred through the seed of Constantine and beyond. That accord during the Nicene council that defined what it meant to believe in Jesus. And from there evolved into what it meant to be the Roman's Catholic that believed in Jesus.
A separate identity from what God meant and spoke of as pertained to ekklesia kath holos.
