I don't know about ideals or even if getting married would produce the ideal, but if I were married right now there'd be someone to play board games with and discuss the books I'm reading, TV shows I'm watching, etc with. Also my little apartment would feel that much littler and we probably would only be eating the same thing for 4 days instead of 6 or more before we got through the big pot of it.

Well I've never been, so I don't know from firsthand experience. But from what I've seen observing others, there ain't no such thing as ideal. It's always a compromise, and it takes a lot of talking back and forth to check what the other person wants.

But though it never does seem ideal for either person, I know a lot of married people who seem to think it's a whole lot better than a carefully sculpted lone person's ideal.

So I can't really say what my ideal life would be if I were married. It would depend a lot on what she wants, and how we decide to balance between us on any given matter. But I bet I would enjoy it.

When I had the luxury of being a wife, we used to talk about martial arts, operative training and candles in the wind...and then everything else...now I wanna cry😢.

Ideal life? Hmm....well I would have a husband that was different enough from me so that my viewpoint would be challenged (in a good way) and widened, a pet, my own place, and a good job.

If I were married(again), I would hope it would look peaceful.

I am sure that you would indeed enjoy it.

That top picture, the girl with all those shopping bags: Last time I saw a picture like that, it was on a billboard with the caption "Does she know where YOUR store is? Advertise here!"

Marriage? No thanks. Certainly not my idea of an ideal life.

I'll take being alone forever any day.

um not sure I think it might be fun.
But I would probably lose any ring. Cant picture it really.
Maybe lots of children and a garden somewhere and a treehouse. and of course, a library.
