There is a lot of stuff in the world that Jesus knows is wrong and will be corrected, we will keep our mind stayed on Him and he will go before us as He promised, we don't have to slay these giants the adversary puts before us.

He will call you to do it at various times shittim.

Jesus did actually call out the pharisees and the moneylenders setting up shop in his temple. He called them vipers and snakes.
 
we are also to tread on snakes and scorpions to be crushed under our feet. maybe not literally but we still have to do it.

Have you ever had a baby? Ever changed a nappy? Or do you just ask the women to do ALL the childcare? How do you keep our most vulnerable safe from harm?
 
That is why God gave women a longer life span, they have more time to do that while we go out and slay that critter:):unsure::giggle:
 
friend was lamenting about some scam to do with amazon taking her credit card, maybe she clicked on something by mistake, not sure. But I would be really careful with online shopping.
I dont do much of it.

I would rather be sure of what I was buying then buy and pay for something online and it turns out to be a complete dud. You cant try it on, test it out or measure it properly so...

With books its better to go see it in the bookshop and then you can assess if its the right book (not just title, but size and condition) if you are going to be spending all that money.
 
Amazon..............total wast of time IMO

Anti-bacterial Soap............doesn't do any better than Ivory as long as one washes their hands well.....

Fancy-schmancy coffee.................. SERIOUSLY?

Is it OK to use Lynx body spray? Or will something dire happen to me? Has anyone seen a Lynx use it?

That body spray is atrocious and no feline would ever come near it. We actually have a lawsuit pending against the parent company, for using a noble feline family name on something as malodorous as that junk.

To each his own as the cliche goes. Good luck with your lawsuit mean while I will finish using 'Africa' and keep a lookout for vengful
lynxes roaming my shopping centres.:D
 
? not sure about lynx body spray.....reminds me of tomcats who arent spayed marking their territory. Do they put cats urine in it???
Im not a fan of arerosol sprays. or perfumed spritzers containing alcohol

If people would wash and use soap that would be fine, or crystal deoderant works better then trying to cover up their bad smells with another bad smell....

arrgh narrow shoes that pinch and give me blisters. why do many shoe people not make their shoes wider. I wore socks but still got blister in the heel.
Shoes are meant to protect your feet not hurt them!

In the oldens days, the shoemakers would make the shoes to fit each person individually, but now in age of mass production one sizing is meant to fit all. It doesnt!

As a teen, I recall buying shoes with grades of width included in the number size. I wore size eight and a half and triple E width.
Now my foremost question to the poster, "Why buy a pais of shoes without trying them on?" Just curious here. God bless you.

But my normal brand of shoes they dont sell anymore :-( and they got a hole in the toe, and I needed another pair but they just werent the same...size was the same but they were narrow and they didnt sell any other type of white canvas shoes. I had to have white to go with the rest of my clothes.

Shoe shopping is such a drag its like Cinderella must have the skinniest feet ever. some shoes are so narrow you wonder if they make them for people who have cut their big toes off or something....?!

I didnt go to a shoe shop this was adepartment store, the shoes were $7 I supoose you get what you pay for. But I feel a bit ripped off even if it was just $7 to have blisters after one day of wearing them. and I cant take them back now.
 
Maybe I can use them to swat flies or something....
I dont know if people would want to wear second hand shoes after i got blisters from them. Or would that be...second feet shoes.

one of the biggest 'rip-offs' that blew hub's and my mind was the pharmaceutical ads on the BUBE-TUBE -
we started seeing them in the 90's as we didn't have a hook-up to electricity until then... -
when we first began to observe and READ the FINE PRINT, we were flabbergasted!!!!!!!!!! -
first of all, they laud their drugs, and then they tell you the 'side-effects', and then
they play 'enchanting music, telling you, IF you TAKE their DRUGS, you will LIVE
'happily-ever-after-dancing and singing', but, 'talk to your doctor first'!!!...
but as PT BARNUM said, 'one born per-minute'...

yea those drug ads are questionable
in nz they are regulated a bit more but I notice in american magazines they have full page advertisments for all kinds of drugs....people must be popping pills or shooting up most everyday.

tip..if buying stockings, buy the ones with reinforced toes and heels, because those that dont will get holes in them.
I dont have especially pointy toes, or heels but its so annoying to have stockings or socks with holes in them after just a few wears.

mum is like, aw doesnt matter nobodys gonna see, but MY FEET know.

This happens when you get given cheap clothing I suppose.
skirts that dont have lining or pockets are also not really worth it. You may as well just tie some fabric around yourself.
