No longer classified as just living in the vapors of a cough or sneeze but living in the air for periods of time. Longer if not in a controlled environment as in a room with no air flow.

Doctor from South Korea explains this well. Explains at 9:21 and 17:40 how the virus is airborne

I would think airborne would be worse in densely populated areas.:(

He does state at some point which I cannot locate that outside is not as problematic as confined spaces.

Most definitely worse. I was reading it can be airborne for up to 10mins in a confined space with no air circulation or high foot traffic. But in places of air circulation and high foot traffic it can be in the air longer. With atleast 24 hour life spans according to what surface they land on. Which means even feet can shuffle up the virus that was settled on the ground or in a traffic jam, one infected person with a open window can infect others who have their AC on.

I'm connected with a group that has sources in Washington and that is what they are saying but hasn't been publicly announced here yet.

It is hard not wanting to panic people and yet wanting to disseminate accurate information

I just think other eastern cultures like Japan, South Korea etc., are more able to act without panic, again it comes down in part to that social cohesion and experience, which sadly is missing right now in the USA.

Really sad to watch a country come apart like it is... maybe this can be a catalyst for good, we shall see.

My country in America was a recipe for something bad. Think about it. Our main news outlets are left leaning with 1 right wing. I fall under conservative beliefs so left wing media has largely been attacking anything I believe. We since the 80s have had increasing media bias and it is increasingly hard to sort fact from fiction.

Then came the internet and social media. With millions of average folks being amateur journalists or news people. Not knowing how to check sources, research, cross examine evidence, and have the ability to seek the truth out. Which is still hard to do even for the professionals when news is constant 24/7, always changing and sources are not accurately examined as in studying the statistics, the professionals, medical studies, etc.

So much information and not enough understanding. Not enough truth. Or even if it was truth, we are hesitant to believe it. Reminds me of Pilate who asks Jesus What is truth?

Past fear mongering like crying out we will all die in 10 years to climate change is like the boy who cried wolf. Even if the evidence supports that claim, most the world would laugh. Just as our country did before the virus. So many jokes about it but as we see now, people are less comical.

This research report sounds interesting.

SARS-CoV-2 to bat and pangolin viruses is some of the best evidence that the virus is natural, Hodcroft says. “This was just another animal spillover into humans,” she says. “It’s really the most simple explanation for what we see.” Researchers still aren’t sure exactly which animal was the source.

Andersen says the analysis probably won’t lay conspiracy theories to rest. Still, he thinks the analysis was worth doing. “I was myself skeptical at the beginning and I kept flipping back and forth,” Andersen says, but he’s now convinced. “All the data show it’s natural.”

I don't think the six feet, now suggested to be further distance apart, social distancing would be recommended if it wasn't airborne.

Now WHO is saying new studies show Coronavirus remains active in the air for up to three hours. Who times these things? Seriously.

The virus is typically transmitted through respiratory droplets, such as when someone sneezes or coughs, but a new study indicated that it can remain suspended in the air for up to three hours.

Interestingly enough Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus the head of WHO, isn't a physician. How's that work?

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus
In 1986 he received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology from the University of Asmara and joined the Ministry of Health of the Derg as a junior public health expert.

After the fall of Mengistu Haile Mariam, Tedros returned to university to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine at the University of London. He subsequently received a PhD in community health from the University of Nottingham in 2000.

WHO elects Ethiopia’s Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as its new director general
By HELEN BRANSWELL
MAY 23, 2017
Tedros will be the first non-physician to lead the WHO; he has a doctorate in community health. He served as Ethiopia’s health minister from 2005 to 2012 and is credited for innovative reforms to the health delivery system of a resource-poor country. Supports see that experience as something that will benefit the cash-strapped WHO.

What about it though? He seems qualified to me.
No what about it really, I just found it interesting that a new DG of WHO and appointed in 2017 wasn't a physician. World Health Organization Director General isn't a physician. Just seems contradictory.

I’ve read Rick Scott a senator, is demanding a full investigation in the WHO role in down playing this pandemic I agree that origination seems fishy, think they got other agendas.

clip for the article.

China has successfully prevented Taiwan from becoming a WHO a member state, a policy that Taiwan has alleged impeded the organization’s early response to the pandemic. Taiwanese health officials have said their colleagues in the WHO did not relay early reports by Taiwanese doctors indicating possible human-to-human transmission of the coronavirus.

I find it odd only two cities are infected in China.

Me too. Considering we're being told this "weaponized" virus originated in China after it was stolen from a lab in Canada that was looking for a cure for the flu? How did someone get a virus out of a lab in Canada so as to take it to China for weaponizing?

And if it got out of the lab in China like we're told and are suppose to believe, why did it only affect two cities? And now the U.S. has more casualties to this than China?

I've said there's something more behind this since the news started reporting it was getting out of control. I'm thinking this is the precursor for peoples worst fears. The stuff of legend prior to this. That one world order, government, deal.
