My changed life is the assurance that I have the Holy Spirit in me through faith in Christ. The assurance that you have believed unto salvation is your changed life. This is plainly taught in the Bible. Osas says how you live your life means nothing towards showing if you are saved or not.

And, yes, every humble believer should realize they stand by faith, and if they stop having faith in Christ they, too, will be cut out of the tree, just as the Israelites were for their unbelief. This is plainly explained in Hebrews 11. The arrogance of the osas movement is completely contrary to Paul's warning to the church to humbly and fearfully continue in the kindness of God, or be cut out of the tree like the unbelieving Jews.
Paul warns in Romans 11 about the Gentiles as a whole being cut off as Israel was cut off. No lose of salvation, but that God would be done dealing with the Gentile world with the gospel. No one in Christ will be ripped from His body.

These believers had their faith overthrown by false teachers, yet because their foundation was secure, the Lord knows who are His even when we go astray. That word “nevertheless” is powerful.

2 Timothy 2
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Peace and security come from continuing to believe in Christ, the source of peace and security. And when faith is tested, if we will but ask, Christ is faithful to strengthen and increase our faith and keep us in the race.
But not all have what you and I enjoy. Some, who are in Christ, have no Bible, no Church, no spiritual influences in their life at all, but the contrary. Christ is faithful even when we are not.

How would you describe the following WORKS of saved men...

1. Murder and adultry by David
2. SEXUAL fornicating Corinthian brother
3. Peter's denial of Jesus
4. Works of wood, hay and stubble that get burnt yet SAVED so as by fire

etc.....

Saved MEN do both Good and bad things and they SOMETIMES have works that ARE NOT GOOD!
And here lies the problem. OSAS people do not understand the difference between a "a just man" who "falls seven times and rises up again" (Proverbs 24:16 KJV) and a man who claims to be just but does not "keep back...from presumptuous sin" which the Bible calls "the great transgression" (Psalm 19:13 KJV).

The difference is so clear, a blind man can see it. The one slips and falls into sin and reaches up to God for deliverance, wets his pillow at night with tears of remorse while begging God for complete victory which he eventually obtains...while the other climbs down into the pit, spreads himself down comfortably, and then refuses God's hand to lift him out, while presumptuously claiming the promises of Christ.

"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper, but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy (Proverbs 28:13 KJV)...and since OSAS teaches that forsaking sin is optional, it's EXACTLY the kind of covering God says will benefit no one.

Where do you find this? Do you know anyone who claims this?

I see we have another context denier that peddles a losable salvation and or a faith/works blend false gospel of salvation....

PAUL ->> Faith alone saves a man eternally

James --> a mere BELIEF IN God like demons DOES not save a man

James is not saying FAITH PLUS WORKS for salvation!!

He is writing to JEWS which have the same problem unto this day...A MERE BELIEF IN GOD but NO SAVING FAITH into Christ!

Do you guys even acknowledge context and the simple words of the bible!!!!????
I agree with everything you say except the "losable" part. Conditional Salvation which is the only kind the Bible knows about doesn't say the saint "loses" anything. It says the saint discards the gift of eternal life by throwing off God's authority and choosing to be his own god over his life.

It's not works that save a man, it's the choice to make God his Savior and Lord, and the result is good works.
Likewise, it's not sin that condemns a former saint, it's the choice to cease from having God his Savior and Lord, and the result is a re-enslavement to sin.

Jesus says to true believers "Go and sin no more" and to OSAS believers "Why call ye Me, Lord Lord, and do not the things which I say?"
Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery in John 8:11, "go and sin no more." Jesus was telling the woman to go and leave her life of sin, namely, she had been practicing adultery. Also, Jesus cannot compromise his perfect holy standard, so of course He is not going to say, "go and just sin a little bit." Do you claim to be sinless, 100% of the time?

In regards to Luke 6:46, in verses 43-45, Jesus just got through comparing good trees and bad trees and went on to say that the good man brings good things out of the good treasure of his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil treasure of his heart. Yet you make this out to be about OSAS believers. You sound very judgmental towards OSAS believers.

Jesus says to true believers "Go and sin no more" and to OSAS believers "Why call ye Me, Lord Lord, and do not the things which I say?"
Listen Mr. Phoneman.....

Salvation is secure........ the good works and living out our holy calling are the outpouring of that TRUTH.

In fact, it is only from the place "saved" not "quasi saved" that good works and a holy life come from a true place of liberty in Jesus and from Jesus.

... from the NOSAS place of "quasi saved" good works come place from a fear of losing salvation or trying to stay in God's good graces.

So then one is trying to earn or keep salvation which basically a slap in the face of God because He gives His gift freely to those who

have trusted in Him for it!

And He does not take it back, nor can we give salvation back because then scripture would not have described is a a gift.

Your posts are something ( and not in a good way) so I have to respond.

Jesus is faithful even when we are not.

As well a person cannot take back a debt, if the debt has been paid and expunged from the records, he has been declared innocent of any and all charges, no double jeopardy!!

You enter a false notion of choice which does not exist.

Now where does scripture speak of a "choice" to resume a debt that has been paid.

Only Jesus who has PAID the debt and forgiven the debt can make that choice and Jesus has more than once assured us that He is faithful to His promises!

HI!
Boy, what a disparity of words. Stick with the word of truth, the KJV.😉
A guide, just as any other tool to help in study of the language it was written in....

Philippians 4:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

Now I understand in this passage, he was referring to his (the Apostle) ministry...

God Bless!!!

Where do you find this? Do you know anyone who claims this?
Anyone man who claims the promises of God yet chooses to habitually sin when overcoming power is never beyond reach claims those promises presumptuously. It's a principle taught throughout Scripture.

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat of the good of the land; but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." Isaiah 1:18-20 KJV

It absolutely is. It is at the point of a seared conscience that it becomes impossible to renew a person again to repentance. Until then, the Father's door of mercy which swings on the hinges of grace is still open and awaiting the return of the prodigal son.
If you read it correctly and understand the word "repentance" in the text correctly, what cannot occur twice is being born from above twice.

"renew a person to repentance"

That is what it means.

OSAS it TRUTH

Jesus imparts eternal life, an irrevocable gift... no verse states otherwise.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath.

Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

1Pet 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1Pet 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

When does the blood of our Saviour Yeshua (Jesus)Hamashiach (The Christ) lose its power?

Right lets just muddy all the waters ... correlating OSAS with wanting to stay in sin... false assumption and not even what OSAS is about.

Your focus is on sin like most all NOSAS people ... all sin was dealt with at the cross.
Salvation is not a day by day thing... all sin expunged from our record, past present and future, when we are born from above

Did Jesus get crucified more than once? NO.. He did not..

And since He only had to die once for our sins, then how can we possibly lose our salvation? That would mean He would need to die on a daily basis..
Hmm.. very telling. I see no one can answer my questions here..

Sorry, friend, but OSAS is a false teaching which provides false security to its adherents by teaching men can obtain by dead faith that which can only be obtained by living faith: eternal life. (James 2:14-17 KJV)
How many works must you do to maintain your salvation? What would you say to God if you fell just one work short of salvation?
