I always thought Copeland was a few chapters short of a Bible.

Firstly, you're speaking to the wrong member. Secondly, what amazes me is you atheists that arrive at a Christian forum at all. No God! Right? God isn't real. So who are you talking to but people who believe in what you and your sect call a delusion.
And lastly, if you're going to attempt to pose here or smear the faith and think this particular Christian will kiss you on your cheek and wish you well as you continue your pursuit, you are sorely mistaken. It is spelled Christian, capital C. Atheists always give themselves away when they are so low as to use lower case for Christian, God, and Jesus.

Sadly they have no idea how low they'll go when their games are over. As well as their lives. That is their choice. The idea of a delusion ends when the throne of judgment appears before you. Then it's an, oh heck! Was I wrong! But then, it is too late. Why not spend your time learning about Jesus rather than mocking him and wasting the time allotted your life thinking to mock all of it.
Well dont take authority over anything or prophecy scripture less you become a demon like me.

Are you nuts or something?
I know who my redeemer is and know my bible.
You do not have a clue as to who I am or your perverted prisms you judge me by.

You must be a kid or something. Not very old are you?

You totally mis judged and characterised me.

Kenneth doesn't think that far ahead when boasting about his witchcraft. And no surprise, his You Tube channel has comments disabled.
Many charismatics got off in the end. It appears to me anyone used in a mighty level is also judged in this life.
Look at your man bill johnson.
He claims to have changed views several times (as has all of us)
But maybe you can smear him for it or something.

The point is God will correct Him,chastised him,and humble him before he dies just like all men of God.

Noah
Abraham
David
Samuel
Peter

Snd on and on.

All blew it...big time

None were of the devil.

I posted this to my facebook wall about this Copeland video that's making the rounds:

I no longer am shy about proclaiming my Christian faith, I try to walk that line of never denying it, but also of not being a pain in the backside by pounding on the Bible and preaching because I know it can get people's back up....I know because it used to get my back up before I started back on the path so to speak.

Put another way, for a long time I was a very "lousy" (edited) Christian, (its just a word, and I'm describing myself) and ultimately I may still be one...its not for me (or anyone else on this earth) to judge. I'm trying to do better, and I likely have a very long way to go.

With that being said, the linked video is not something with which I personally agree...it actually bothers me a lot. This individual, Copeland....he theatrically blows away Covid-19, claiming that by the the Holy Spirit, that Jesus has given him dominion over Covid-19 and that he has the power to banish it.

This goes against just about everything I believe to be true about my Lord and Saviour.

Jesus went to the cross willingly, tomorrow we celebrate that event. His own disciples were stoned and crucified themselves. When Rome did all it could to eradicate Christians, they didn't blow the wind of god (small g on purpose) to defeat their enemies, they went to their deaths, refusing to deny their Lord and Saviour because of their faith. A faith which told them that this life is not the end.

Should Chrisitans be afraid of Covid-19? Of course, fear of death is natural and normal, no matter how deep one's faith is. What exactly lies on the other side of the veil is still unknown. All I know, because of my faith, is that its better than what's on this side.

But that doesn't mean one embraces death, its a fine line....one is to embrace life, and not fear death, that's my take on it anyway....
Its all summed up very well in scripture, non Christians and many who've never even set foot in a church for a worship service probably know at least some of the 23rd Psalm, the one that includes:

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me".

So when you see a video with something like this, don't assume that this guy (or others like him) represents all Christians, or even all evangelicals, he doesn't represent my views....not at all.

Do I consider Copeland a Christian? That's not my call...he affirms the same faith I do so I'll call him a brother in Christ, but the ultimate judgement doesn't rest with me.

Peace everyone.

Good to see most people here are not deceived by this man and his wacko teachings..

But sadly many people want to believe in wacko doctrines that this man pedals.. Which is why he has all those private jets..

The false preachers don't take away from fact that if HIS people would humble themselves and pray , and seek HIS FACE then HE will Heal their land..

God's the only one that's got the power heal this if he wants. If it's will to heal it, then I'll praise his name. If it's not his will to heal it, then I will still praise his name. God's got control and if we are his then there is no need to fear, either way. Paul said to live is Christ but to die is gain. Seems like now more than ever it is time to be about the Father's business, setting our affections on things above, not things on this earth, and witnessing to the lost souls.

If we are children of the living God this world is not our home. We are just pilgrims passing through in search of a better home. As Job said the Lord gives and takes away...blessed be the name of the Lord. So no matter what he does, I'll praise his name. I was once lost and now I'm found, I was once blind but now I see....I once had no hope, but now I have a Savior...so regardless of what happens on this earth, we are winners either way.

I think it would actually be nice if the supernatural heat wave occurred and reduced the virus and its spread.

But today it is only 49F in NYC.

Why waste your time posting about this idiot?
Oh, so you are admitting that it is a waste of time for people to read your posts. Thanks for the heads up.

I dont know if a heatwave is the next of the seven plagues so be careful what you pray for.

But it is in the Bible that someone puts wormwood in the water and people die from drinking it. They put the wrong wormwood in thinking it would cure the virus. You got to know your plants people.

Let those who have the faith to publically rebuke the Covid virus in Jesus' name, be the ones to criticize Kenneth Copeland.

The question is not, "Why does Kenneth Copeland have the audacity to call on a heatwave to take out the virus?" The question is: "Why are you not?"

So we're getting pretty well into April, would love to see that supernatural heat wave come wipe out the virus right about now.

But it is only 46F in NYC, and according to the internet weather watchers it is "breezy".
