The Bible says not to eat pigs or shelled fish and I don't. I warn people not to eat pork but no one pays any attention. At least not until they get grout and the doctor tells them to cut back on that stuff. Now I see they are closing down a big plant because of 300 people that have the virus. I wonder if this virus is not striking with surgical precision. This plant produces: "producing 18 million servings of food per day."

If you are an israelite its recommended not to, but for gentiles it was ok. They had stronger constitutions.

some people claim that green lipped mussels protect against cancer and oysters provide zinc. I think in all cases one ought to ask God about the best diet and receive all food with thanksgiving.

My beef would be people ingesting junk food and drugs. But will ppl listen to me? No.

As jesus explained these are rules if men not God, that rule us for people who worship God with their lips and not their hearts.

If that were true then God would have protected that pig meat from the virus. The proof is in the pudding. 300 people are sick and that is as clear of an indication as anyone should need that God stands behind His word. This plant is owned by China so it is plain and clear that they do not care how many people they kill feeding them this pig meat.

They do not listen to Paul when he tells us that: " many are weak and sick among you, and many are fallen asleep." (1cor11:30) God wants us to be healthy. David shows us that the law was given because God wants what is best for us. "Oh, how I love Your law! All day long it is my meditation." (Psalm 119:97)

False logic twisted to support your belief. By that logic we shouldn't have police because so many of them have contracted cov.

The very link you provided says 80, NOT 300, confirmed cases.

You claim they are killing people by sending out the food. But that article states...
That the plant was shut down after discovery of 80 with cov.
Your article also states that there is no evidence to suggest cov is passed through the food.

The article you posted to back up your claims actually proved you Wrong. Just more fear mongering and misinformation. That is a much bigger problem than cov.

No, the New Testament only tells not to eat meat sacrificed to idols...
But all food has been made ritually clean.

I want through a cardio program and diet was a big part of that program. People were always wanting to fight with the dietitian. I can understand why doctors do not get after people more about what they eat. They do not have time to fight and argue with them. One guy owned a restaurant that specialized in burgers, fries and fatty unhealthy food. He was a nice guy but there was still poetic justice that he got bit by his own bug and the food he was selling to people was making him sick. I remember my dentist telling me that McDonalds was fine and he ate their breakfast all the time. That was pretty much his last dying word because he had a heart attack after that.

I do not understand why people have a problem with this. Paul tells us: "many are sick and weak among you" (1Cor11:30) Yet people continue to lie and tell each other they can eat whatever they want with no consequences. I can assure you that if you were to talk to Paul he would call you on this. The problem is the example we are setting for others: "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven" We can do what we want but we have to be careful what we teach and the example we set. God is going to hold us accountable for that. (Matthew 5:19) Even sinners are justified before God if the are humble and admit their guilt. "I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God" (Luke 18:14) The word MANY is a word we need to pay attention to.

The report right now is that this is why we have the virus that the whole world is on lock down. Because of bats they were eating in a wet market in Wuhan. We had a foreign exchange student from that city and he told us they eat anything there. My wife tends to believe the conspiracy theory that this is an act of war and that China created this virus in the lab in test tubes. My wife is NOT a conspiracy type of person. So she maybe accurate in what she is saying. She worked in Hong kong for 9 years - so she knows and understands the Chinese people.

My wife is asian and my son very much associates himself as being asian. So if you're accusing me you are barking up the wrong tree. I ran his DNA and it came back very strong northern China or what they call mongolian. Which is no surprise because Genghis Khan has 16 million descendants today and is the leading common ancestor for descendants. A lot of China can be traced back to him or the emperor family that lived in the forbidden city in Beijing. It is actually Beijing that is fighting for control over Hong Kong. Esp the criminal element there much less the communist party. Some people refer to this as the eternal city.

People have a problem with this because it's not commanded in the Bible to Gentile believers, and personal convictions shouldn't be presented as God's commandment. It's not like anyone is against you, or your conviction specifically.
Apostle Paul was very careful not to do this, emphasizing if something was his personal judgments and differing them from God's words.
I believe that if this practice was of consequence to uphold, it would have been commanded to us in the New Testament, just like meat sacrificed to idols and blood was advised multiple times to abstain from.
If someone is Jewish, I would not interfere with their convictions either. Messianic Jews might be led to observe certain things that us Gentile believers don't have laid upon us, or not, I do not know... that's between them and God to figure out... but as for the Gentiles:

Acts 21:25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

We have science to tell us what is healthy. But the CEO's trying to make money do what they can to hide the truth from people. They will spend massive amounts of money to deceive people into thinking their food is health when it is not healthy at all. They claim they are just giving people what they want but that just means they buy into their own deception.

They just shut down a Sioux Falls pork plant with over 640 cases of the virus. God is making this plan and clear what is and what is not approved. So people are without excuse. My wife brought home a ham sandwich from work and I told her I was not going to eat it throw it away. My son is 22 though so he can make up his own mind what he wants to do. If he wants to eat it or not.

So true! Have you seen What the Health? Storyline: (from imdb.com)

What the Health is a ground breaking feature length documentary from the award-winning filmmakers of Cowspiracy, that follows the exciting journey of intrepid filmmaker, Kip Andersen, as he uncovers the impacts of highly processed industrial animal foods on our personal health and greater community, and explores why leading health organizations continue to promote the industry despite countless medical studies and research showing deleterious effects of these products on our health.

User Review
The documentary entertains, shocks, informs, angers and inspires you. If you watch how they try to investigate health organizations and medical facilities, I think you'll be baffled by the frankness with which they refuse to discuss important information regarding saving people's lives. The personal stories in the film give you hope that there is a better way to how we are going about our diet and health care. We can have a better option than just suddenly dying of cancer or heart disease after a few decades of life if the information, such as in this documentary, would be exposed to the public.

There is good news though. We are told that during the Kingdom Age people will live to be at least 100. Right now the average age is more like 78. We get a lot of our food from the Amish - Mennonite people. They have all their own discussions on how food should be produced.

Beef and lamb costs a lot more than pork. You mentioned getting food from Amish. But how many people have access to that, or can afford pastured, organic beef and lamb? Just because you can, doesn't mean everyone can.
Regular beef is pumped with hormones. Same goes for poultry. Actually, hormone wise, pig meat is probably cleaner than other meats, (at least where I'm from it is so, won't claim for the USA).
My household cannot afford lamb, and can only afford minced beef here and there. Not to even talk about clean, organic meats.
Get real.
