And you I suppose understand Paul?
We are not talking about Paul's understanding of what Moses wrote. We are talking about following what Moses wrote. We have the Holy Spirit to be our Teacher and our Guide to show us the way of righteousness and how we are to live. I spend time to study Hebrew so I can understand what the Bible is teaching us. I did not bring Paul up. Others try to claim that Paul tells us we do not have to follow the teaching of Moses and I say we do have to follow the Bible as we are lead by the Holy Spirit of God to follow the Bible. As David teaches us the advantages of following the Bible. In fact that is what Paul was doing was quoting the teachings of David.

Jesus makes this very clear: "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished". (Matthew 5:18) I believe it is important to follow the teachings of Leviticus in the Bible. This teaching has to do with out priesthood before God. Of course there is no temple we are the temple and we are to be Holy & Sanctified before God. We are told that one third of the people are going to be saved but I believe that only 10% of the people take their priesthood serious before God to serve Him.

There is a LOT of mis information in the church and now with this virus we are starting to see there is a LOT of misinformation in science also. There are people that claim to know the truth but they do not represent the truth at all. People that have the Holy Spirit are lead by the Holy Spirit so they know if people are trying to deceive them or not. For them all of this goes without saying because they do not need man to lead them. They are taught by God.

Your interpretation is twisting it.
Again YOU are the one that is guilty of what you accuse others of. So be careful because you are telling on yourself. We would not know that this is what you are doing if you had not told on yourself. To those that are pure everyone seems pure to those who are pure at heart and they do not go around accusing people of what they are guilty of. "To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted." (Titus 1:15)

You did not read the chart I gave you. You are allowed UP TO 20 grams of Sat fat a day. IF you eat more then this then you are setting youself up for things like a heart attack, stroke, cancer, diabeties and other diseases.

Driving a car once day can kill you too. Cancer can still kill the vegetarian. Choking on a brussel sprout can kill you also. We wasn't designed to live here forever.

There are people that live to be 120. The average here in this state is 78. Soon people will live to be 100. People do not need to die before their time. They can live out their full life if they follow the teachings of the Bible. The people that survive this virus are learning a lot about how to be healthy and live a long life.

You do understand we are of a new covenant? Following Leviticus is putting the burden of the law back into the equation for salvation.

For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished". (Matthew 5:18
Yes exactly. The law is still holy but the key new Testament word is that it has been fulfilled. May want to study what fulfilled means.

I'm sorry to say but you have been deceived. Just as my vegetarian mother's side of the family who follow the OT diatery laws because their false prophet told them to in the church of the 7th day Adventist. Who also believes it is a grave sin to worship on Sunday. It isnt the first time this demonic thought has infected believers.

People tried this in Acts. Peter corrects them.
Acts 15:10-11 New International Version (NIV)
10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

Grace my friend brings such freedom to the soul. Meditate on that for awhile.

Hebrews 3:3-6 New International Version (NIV)
3 Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4 For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. 5 “Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house,”[a] bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. 6 But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

Jesus is greater than Moses. Here is what scripture says about your Leviticus belief.

Hebrews 7:11-12 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Like Melchizedek
11 If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood—and indeed the law given to the people established that priesthood—why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also.

Hebrews 7:18-19 New International Version (NIV)
18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless 19 (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

Hebrews 8:6-13 New International Version (NIV)
6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.

7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8 But God found fault with the people and said[a]:

“The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
9 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”[b]
13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

Hebrews 9 New International Version (NIV)
Worship in the Earthly Tabernacle
1 Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.

10 They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings—external regulations applying until the time of the new order.

11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here,[a] he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation.

Matthew 5:17 New International Version (NIV)
The Fulfillment of the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

And that is indeed what Jesus did. He fulfilled what we couldn't do.

Discernment is a spiritual trait and Biblically so is the correction or rebuke of false teachings.

We live in a fallin world. Either way we all die and usually the death is never a easy one. It is part of life. Our souls belong in the eternal. These bodies are prone to sickness, decay, and death. You can do all you can to live a extra 10 years but you still will die. We should be focused on Jesus and the eternal. By no means am I saying we shouldn't take care of ourselves but what I am saying the body isnt a idol. We dont have to religiously do this and that for salvation. You will not go to hell for eating pig. This isnt Islam.

I have died many times even when I was young. I can not count all the times God has resurrected me and brought me back to life again. Then He tells me this all could have been avoided if you would just live right and not bring death on yourself. Still it is my choice if I want to keep putting myself through all of that when we can have divine health. My wife has divine health, she does not ever get sick. My son does not get sick. My dad did not ever get sick enough to take time off from work. I actually know a lot of people that are very healthy. Like my brother says, good clean living keeps you healthy and you do not get sick. This is a choice we make in life and no one can make our choice for us. Of course there is no sickness in Heaven because people follow the rules there. That is why we are to pray: Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be Done, on Earth as in Heaen.

You should read the 119 Psalm. I remember David talking about his love for the law of God. I was very surprised because I saw the law as a burden not something that liberates us and sets us free.

You think it is perfectly acceptable to do evil and to be an evil person. That is not what the Bible teaches. We are to turn away from evil and do what is good and right: "Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil. This will bring healing to your body and refreshment to your bones". (Proverbs 3:8) If you want health you have to live right. If you want prosperity you have to work hard. My son works hard and he reaps the benefits of that. He has no empathy for the kids back in High School that did not want to apply themselves to getting an education so they could get a good paying job. He plans to graduate with a degree in computer engineering and the starting pay is $85,000. This takes effort but hard work does pay off if your willing to pay the price.

"Proverbs 12:4 A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones." You think it is perfectly acceptable to be a rotten person, a sinner that disregards the law and the teaching of the Bible. Clearly no one is getting away with anything. When they say someone is rotten to the bone they mean just that.

If that were true then God would have protected that pig meat from the virus. The proof is in the pudding. 300 people are sick and that is as clear of an indication as anyone should need that God stands behind His word. This plant is owned by China so it is plain and clear that they do not care how many people they kill feeding them this pig meat.
The ownership of Smithfield is indeed based in China.

As for the clear indication that God stands behind His word (He does) the number of sick employees in this company is not indictive that God is against the eating of pork. There are sick employees in many industries and companies.

Not sure at all how you came to the conclusion that the ownership of Smithfield does not care about people dying as a result of eating their product. Probably few, if any have died as a result of eating Smithfield pork products unless that was the primary food in their diet and eating in great quantities over a period of years.

The ownership does care about profit though, and that is true for all companies that produce a product for consumption or use. Without profits there would be no jobs.

What is the source that claims, based on the evidence and data provided to substantiate the claim, that the employees in this particular meat processing facility got sick because the meat that was processed was contaminated with the coronavirus?

My wife and my son are Asian. So I always get a good laugh when people call me a racist.
are you telling me it's equally "it's plain and clear" that you don't care how many people you & your wife kill either, since you are Asian? that's your explanation? that it's OK for you to say anyone Chinese is morally bankrupt, because you're Asian?

your statement that because a company has ownership in China, the company must have no regard for human life, is a racist statement. you don't get some kind of '
free pass' just because of the color of your own skin.

In regards to following the dietary rules in heaven, if any such exist, I would much prefer Outback Steakhouse - NO RULES - JUST RIGHT, or Papa John's - BETTER INGREDIANTS - BETTER PIZZA. Sausage is one of my preferred toppings. Bacon and ham is good too and of course pepperoni.

Going off on a tangent from the topic I also enjoy onions and banana peppers on my pizza.

How does one get divine health by a choice? Is this acquired by a divine healthy life style? Personally, I don't do anything that is remotely divine in regards to my dietary habits or lifestyle as divinity is not something that is in me as if it's my own doing and not God.

Like your dad, I have worked for 48 years and could count on the fingers of one hand and part of another hand the times that I have missed work because I was actually sick. Of course, that could all change tomorrow. That is true for anyone, regardless of diet or lifestyle.

We have all brought death upon ourselves. This has been true since Adam and Eve.

I believe that we really all should take better care of ourselves but there is more to the equation besides quantity of days lived. There must also be quality of life. Without quality of life there would be no point in trying for quantity of life.

Are you serious. Scripture doesn't teach divine health. The promise to live until we are old. In fact tomorrow isnt promised. God can heal but divine health is belony. Speaking of science we know that your genetic code also plays a major role in health. You may eat right but still be overweight. I see it all the time. Point is we are destined to die. You are too focused on the material.

Honestly I wouldn't care if you was teaching on health but to play the whole Leviticus thing and completely ignore the NT then yes nonsense must be shot down. You have died many times doesn't make what you say authoritative. Scripture is authoritative. I dont need new revelations.

So of all the scriptures I posted. You cannot speak to any of them? They are quite evident what you teach is nonsense.

I dont think it is suitable to do evil. That is your interpretation on what doing evil is. Eating meat is not evil in my opinion. My grandmother as we speak is 95. A southern who ate fried chicken, ham, vegetables, etc. Her brother lived to be 98. To teach we are under a law other than the law of Christ is untruthful. Worse part is, it isnt from ignorance as I have shown you the scriptures.

If you want prosperity you have to work hard.
Prosperity doesn't mean you will not experience trials, tribulations, sickness, spiritual warfare and death.

You have to understand how law works. You have 4. The ceremonial, judicial, moral, and law of Christ. The ceremonial and laws about how to judge such issues as stoning are no longer binding. Which is yes your food requirements.

Moral law is found from Genesis all the way through the NT. These are universal for example sexual immorality never changed. This is what we learn from the law. The moral implications. Not the religious works. Otherwise you need to follow the punishments too.

Good luck in evangelism stoning the homosexual.

Agreed. Our environment alone can kill us. Air pollution, radiation, chemicals, viruses, etc. I eat for the most part a healthy diet but my environment will probably be what does me in. I work around chemicals. I try to take every precaution but it is impossible to completely be away from it. People retire from my job and many sometimes within months strangely get sick and die.

Our Pastor's brother is very ill from eating pig's meat. The fact is pig's meat is unclean for many reasons:

1) A pig don't have sweat glands so all the poison stays inside the pigs meat
2) Modern medication can basically kill all worms but not he worms given to you by eating pigs meat

God knew why we shouldn't eat the meat. It is not good for consumption and can make you ill :)

God bless friends

My friend what about the first part of that verse?
As explained in scripture we have 4 laws. Ceremonial, judicial, moral, and the law of Christ or law of grace.

Ceremonial- are your laws telling you what to eat, when to worship, how to worship, what to do if you are unclean. What being unclean means. Who can do what in the presence of God. What to wear. Etc.

Moral laws- is universal and transcending. For example when Cain murdered Abel. You see murder is wrong from Genesis to revelation. Or homosexuality as God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah. Or sexual immorality in general. You see God speak on many of these within the 7 Noahide Laws as Noah began to rebuild Civilization.

Judicial laws- are the laws within the ancient Israelites theocracy that dictate how to punish violations for breaking the ceremonial or moral laws. For example breaking such laws could end in stoning or drinking a spiritual concoction that would prove if a woman was unfaithful.

When Christ fulfilled the law that doesn't mean the moral implications went away. For example adultery is still wrong as the law made evident but no longer do we need to do the ceremonial act and carry out the judiciary punishments.

We are under a new covenant. The law of grace. Paul says by no means does that mean we are free to sin. It simply means how we correct our relationship with God no longer involves a temple, animal sacrifice, a high priest, ritual cleansing, etc but the veil had been torn. And we are justified in Christ, through Christ we are seen as righteous. So our relationship with God is immediately open and easy for us to correct our relationship by prayer and repentance.

We can do that. I am ready to study the Bible any time. You mention: Acts 15:10 (NIV) "Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?" This is a situation where they add to the law of God. Today they have a list of the 613 Mitzvot (Commandments). Jesus gives us three, to love God, love our Neighbor and to love ourself. That means they add 610 commandments to what Jesus gives us. If you ask them why do you add to what Moses tells us to do, they will not be able to answer. http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm
