Are there any creationist Christians out there?
What if God's eternal decree were to become visible through the creation of time, space, and matter. So that we see and live in a universe trillions of light-years old. But having been made visible 6-7000 years ago? That is, things were billions of years old before God revealed them in the time-space and matter continuum?

IF a believer rejects the creation account, they certainly could not accept the resurrection (though they will say they do).
What part of believer (in Christ) makes them an unbeliever (in Christ)?

Young Earth Creation is a belief the earth was created under 10,000 years ago.

The fermentation of wine generally takes a minimum of 2 weeks, and then 2-3 weeks of aging before it's even ready to bottle. The longer you bottle your wine, the better the results.

How long did it take Jesus to turn water into wine at Cana? My Question is: why did it only take Him 6 days to create the universe, when He could have done it in a split second (like the wine) 👍
I fear that you must ask him himself:)

The account is written in a narrative form probably to correspond with the six days of work and one day of rest that Moses gave the Israelites.

No need to take them as literal days of creation. Me, I'm an old earther.

I have a question for the old-earthers: On what basis do you reject the idea that the days in Genesis 1 are literal days of roughly 24 hours in duration?

the proper time in Evening and Morning at first light was illusive to people of old, they had no way of determining the 18 mins at sunset and sunrise the 36 mins when there is light but no shadow to gauge time. everyone in those days who knew how to tell time by the sun and stars and other natural gauges knew it wasn’t easy. today we just look at a mechanical clock we don’t even consider that length as anything but what a mech clock says.

Great thing to think that God is capable of doing creation over a long period of time or over a short span of time. God spoke all things into existence. God said let there be and it became. Who knows both arguments may be right and both may be wrong.

Your right about that it could of been in one breath, who knows how long God’s breath is

Psalm 33:6
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

I believe in a literal 6 day Creation.

But I also believe like the Hebrews believe that Genesis 1:1 actually meant a finished Heaven and Earth complete with people and all sorts of life forms (even Dinosaurs).

Then between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2, we have the "Fall of Satan" who was sent crashing upon the Earth and destroyed the Earth from Genesis 1:1. (Ice Age) and why the Earth appears under water.

And then from Genesis 1:2 onward, we have a Creation that this time leads to the Messiah through Adam.

This is speculation. Nobody can proof this.
And the reason of the flood was not ice age, but Gods wrath.

I am not discussing the Flood of Noah. It was not long enough to destroy the face of Earth to a null and void position like what Satan's Fall would have resulted in.
