Genesis Chapter one talks about how God created all of Creation. They say a day is a literal "24" hour day. Yet contained within that day is all time and all ages. Also we have not yet seen the perfect day. At the end of Chapter one we are told: "Behold, it was very good". "God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." (Genesis 1:31) Behold means God is drawing attention to everything being very good. He wants us to know that. (I do not like the word IT, still this means all. Thing is not much better then it.) The word is Kol meaning all, every, entire, whole. Even all of the cosmos or universe. All is very exact and precise. My son is a computer engineer with a minor in math, so we know how exact and precise this universe - world or cosmos is. I deal with concepts but he can come up with a formula for just about anything. We know how exact and precise God is, even how exact and precise the Justice of God is.

In Chapter two we read about the Garden of Eden. We are told: "Then the LORD God took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it. And the LORD God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.” (Genesis 15,26,17)

Man can "eat freely from every tree the garden" but man must: "not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil". We are told in Genesis 1:28 "God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth.” From this we know that it was God's plan for this earth to become an Eden or Paradise. Through Adam and Eve God planned to accomplish all of this.

We know that every one's name is written in the Book of life from the foundation of the world. It was never God's plan for man to perish. We are told: "The LORD said to me, "You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled." (Jeremiah 1:12) So we know God is watching over His word and we know that God plan is for this world to be "VERY GOOD". Even He says BEHOLD, He wants to draw our attention to the fact that He is going to see to it that this world is VERY GOOD. As they say we are either a part of the problem or a part of the cure.

"The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ— if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him. I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us" (Romans 8:16,17,18)

I know that Calvan, Armenian, Wesley & Smith struggled with trying to understand. Each generation goes beyond the generation before them in understanding the Bible and God's plan for us in our day and age. For me I want to know that God's plan is for a world that is very good. WE know that a time will come when God will destroy those who destroy the earth. "The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small-- and for destroying those who destroy the earth." (Rev 11:18)

So it looks to me like we are either a part of the problem or a part of the cure. That is out choice to make. God will not make that choice for us. We can choose life or death, sickness or health, blessing or curse, poverty or prosperity. We have may choices and life, health, blessing and prosperity is always the right choice to make. Although God's idea of prosperity maybe different from man's definition.

We know that every one's name is written in the Book of life from the foundation of the world.
Rev 17:8 says: The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.

I'm not sure how you arrived at this mystical conclusion. Those were six literal 24 hour days.
At the end of Chapter one we are told: "Behold, it was very good". "God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." (Genesis 1:31) Behold means God is drawing attention to everything being very good. He wants us to know that.
This is true and we are to take it at face value. when God says that something is very good it means that it is excellent. And God's creation was indeed perfect and excellent.

But it seems like shortly after creation, the Fall of Mankind took place. And what was "very good" became "very bad", since Adam's disobedience brought a curse upon the human race as well as all of creation. Now God will restore everything in the future through Christ when the New Heavens and the New Earth come into existence.

This is a part of the oral tradition that goes back to Adam. Moses was given the Torah and that is the written tradition.
when God says that something is very good it means that it is excellent.
This means abundantly above and beyond all we could ever ask or think. "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us," (Eph3:22)

abundantly (1), all (1), almost (1), badly (3), carefully (1), closely (1), diligent (1), diligently (3), enough (1), especially (1), exceeding (1), exceedingly (14), exceedingly* (3), excessive (1), extremely* (1), far (1), firmly (1), fully (1), great (16), great abundance (1), greatly (52), greatly* (1), hard (1), harder* (1), highly (4), immense (1), louder (1), measure (2), might (2), more (2), more* (1), most (1), much* (1), quickly (1), richly (1), serious* (1), severely (1), so (2), so much (1), sorely (1), strongly (1), swiftly (1), too (2), utterly (1), utterly* (3), very (139), very well (1), very* (2), violently (1), violently* (1), well (2).

This happens next with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Calvin, Armenian, Wesley, Smith all have opinions and questions about the Tree of Knowledge. We have to build on what we have in Genesis 1:31. God's plan is for this world to be very good. For those who do not walk with God things go from bad to worse. For those that walk with God they go from glory to glory. There maybe a few bumps in the road but God's plan is for the world to become an Eden or Paradise. We are told in Rev that will be a New Earth and a New Heaven. So we know that God is still going to accomplish His plan and purpose.

The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.
The King James Version says: "whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world". This means their name is no longer written because their name has been blotted out. It is God's desire for all to be saved. "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." (Rev 3:5)

I saw the bottomless pit around 60 years ago and recently I began to realize that the Bottomless pit is a volcano. "When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss." (Rev 9:2) The sky is darkened with smoke from an active eruption.

"The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is."

No man can serve two teaching masters. Oral tradition make the tradition of God the Bible without effect.

Wow, you take the prize. I have never seen anyone get anything so wrong. You seem to be confused between what is real and what is fake or counterfeit. They say you have to study the original, then you will easily be able to tell what is fake and what is a counterfeit. This is why we need the Holy Spirit of God to be our teacher and our guide. Also you have be a Christian for 40 years before you can understand the deeper things of God. They say you have to be 40 but that is if you have studied the Bible all your life. If you have not been a christian for 40 years then I would not expect you to understand. Even though once you understand you can easily teach this to a 5 year old or any child that is able to learn the alphabet. What they call the oral tradition is what explains the meaning of the word of God or the archetypal symbolic meaning of the Hebrew letters. We have to understand as a child because if we do not build on that foundation we will never get it right. So we teach the Bible stories to children. Then when they are older and become adults they learn the meaning of those stories on a level a child could never understand.

There was oral tradition from Adam until Noah. From Noah until Moses was the Noahic oral tradition. From Moses until now there has been no need for oral tradition for Yahweh had Moses write all down, the Prophets were written down and added to the Books of Moses, followed or rather including the writings.

Led by the Holy Spirit we will understand the New Testament without need to read it, but it is much easier reding it.

The major problem with oral tradition from Moses until now is that at the time of our Lord- first advent the Pharisees and even the priests were adding to it and profaning it and all truth.

Examples of odd traditions of Judaism, the peases, banging the head on the wailing wall, the various uniforms of all denomintaions, Christians and Jews alike, the skull cap, how we should eat and what and so on ad Infinium.

Follow the understanding given by the Holy Spirit, and you will never go astray. All blessings in Jesus-Yeshua.

Hi thanks for the reply.

Yes that is why we are required to study using all tools in the tool box to rightfully . Tools to find the spiritual understanding of a unseen spirit that works in us. In that was we can obey the living commandment that works from inside moving us to study in order to seek His approval and Not an approval to men seen, or what do men say ? .

And I would seem to be two years short of your quota of 40 years for having enough of something . Not sure if any new ideas that could develop in the next 2 years (Lord willing) That would give me the idea that you and I would then be in agreement of literalizing the signified understanding. .

God is not a man anymore than Satan is a man. Our struggle has not to do with the things seen . God who is not served by human hands (will) Using men (flesh and blood) does not mean we serve them as the one teaching Master, or Lord. . we are to call no man on earth Teacher as Lord and Master one is in heaven not seen .The father of faith

archetypal symbolic meaning of the Hebrew letters
??????

Parables are purposely designed to teach us how to walk by faith. As new creatures having drank the milk of the word we understand as his understanding works in us. His grace teaches us. God is gracious It I would think prepares us to walk understand by faith (his understanding as born again ears to hear Him, and not hear the church ,us. They hide the gospel understanding from natural man. They are not made up of myths (archetypal)

They as prophecy the word of God are made up of words that can work in a person's heart giving them the power so they could believe and therefore move to do the good pleasure of His will

And yes we have to understand as a child (not childish) But one who has no understanding of the things not seen the spiritual realm. They are not written that a child could, as fairy tales understand and they are not bedtime stories like nursey rhymes.

The parable gives the understanding of prophecy one of the many manners . .

In Luke 9 I believe the lesson how to walk by faith while holding on to the historical accuracy of the word of God (mixing faith) is made clear .

To teach them how to seek after the eternal things not seen .He set down child to help them understand the parable in a series of parables. when ever he would intentionally hide the understanding from the apostles t it would become a state of confusion The male alfa dog world break our as to who is the greatest. The apostles having crossed off Jesus the one that made no sense to them .Time and time again he would hide the understanding in a hope they would learn to walk by faith and not after what the eyes One of the parables in that portion records Jesus looking one way and goes in another to where the gentiles were . The little faith Apostles urged him to call down fire.

After he was finished with that lesson of faith and parables .he rebuked the apostles and reveled to them they are the ones that know not what manner of spirit they are of . Makes a good sundae school teaching aid to help understand how to walk by the un seen will of our father. he teaches us who are the invisible us . The apotles learned the hard way we learn from them as they learned of the father by faith.

Luke9: 44-59 Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
But
they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying. Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him, And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

John again like a child did not understanding the parable that was revealed by Jesus. He again walked by sight again missing the the opportunity to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The apostles should of mixed faith in what did occur with the little faith they did have

Luke9:50And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Luke9: 54-55 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Amen follow his instructions

I would think that there was never a oral tradition.

Right from the beginning we would face the idea of having a faith coming from of two teaching masters. Knowing as a law of God it is impossible to serve two. Faith comes by hearing the eternal one not seen .It is the power that works in us "His temples" who beleive God is Love... the glorious light of our new born again hearts.

These two statements are at the root of your deep confusion.

Parables don't give understanding; rather, are designed by God Himself to hide the truth from those without faith, not to teach how to walk by faith. The plain text of Scripture tells you that, but you insist on treating all Scripture as symbolic.

Tell me something: where Scripture states that Jesus came in the flesh, is that statement literal or symbolic?

Amazing how many overlook this truth....when John pens Revelation the Beast

was <-past tense
is not <-present tense
will come <-future tense

Literally SHALL ASCEND OUT OF THE PIT.

Only two entities called ->THE SON OF PERDITION

Judas Iscariot
The BEAST THAT WAS, is Not and SHALL ASCEND OUT OF THE PIT!

Tools to find the spiritual understanding of a unseen spirit that works in us.
How does the Spirit work in us? We see that played out with a virus like the corona virus. So we see this in the letters that make up the word Bat. Three letters in English but 6 letters in Hebrew. As it took God 6 days to create the world and then He rested on the 7 th day. We we breath the virus in. Just as the Bible talks about the breath of life. The Virus then finds it's way into a cell. Then the cell becomes a womb and the virus begins to replicate itself.

What is your perspective on this? Just how does the Holy Spirit work in us and though us to accomplish God's purpose in this World?

Moses write all down
Moses did not write it ALL down because Moses tells us that Jesus would add to what we receive from him. John tells us: "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." (John 21:25) God is infinite and a finite world is not going to be able to contain a infinite God.

I am not really interested so much in their "Oral" tradition so much as learning the Hebrew and what the Hebrew letters represent. For example if we look at the letter Tet, that means a vessel, and this letter is represented by the number 9. What this represents is the womb and the 9 months that a child is in the womb.

It is important to understand the Hebrew letters if we want to understand the Word of God.

Literally SHALL ASCEND OUT OF THE PIT.
I have seen the bottomless pit and now I realize it is a volcano. That is why we are told: ""Immediately after the distress of those days "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'" (Matthew 24:29) So at the time something very physical will be happening in this world.

Not sure where that idea called Hebrews letters comes from? Scripture informs us that without parables Christ spoke not and has given us the tools to rightly divide that manner of prophecy . But this manner you call Hebrew letters .I don't see that as prophecy.

Oh, just in case, I haver reaqd the Bible in Hebrew, and I have studied the meanings given by men to the characters of the alefbet from alef through tav inclusive. Thank you.
