Under the Gospel of the Kingdom, all Jews have to be baptized in order to fulfill their destiny as priests to spread the good news of the kingdom to the other nations. (Exodus 19:4-6, Zechariah 8:20-23)

20 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, 21 and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, ‘Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.’ 22 And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.”

23 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’”

Please keep in mind, when baptizing in the name of Jesus-Yeshua is performed, it is in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit if Isaiah 9;6 is true. Because I believe our Father I believe it is on the gift of faith He has bestowed upon us.

God saves people. You recognize them by their baptism. Whoever wears white clothing needs to be more careful while in dirty areas. Whoever believes will be saved...etc. It's a trait, not a law.

The long ending of Mark is generally not believed to be part of the original manuscript. To understand Mark 16:15-16 you must refer to the other gospels and use them to guide you into the correct application of these verses.

I'm glad you managed to get saved in spite of your very difficult background! Yes, getting baptized in water is required if able to do it (like not in prison or on the cross, like the thief who repented on the cross next to Jesus). But being baptised in water won't save anyone who hasn't truly repented and received Jesus as Savior and Lord (God) of their life. And anyone who does accept Jesus as Lord (God) and Savior, are then automatically filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Him.
Rom 8:14

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
KJV

Ephesians 4: 4, 5. "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling". "ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism". The theme is of salvation, and the baptism is the baptism into the body of Christ, by the Holy Spirit. This is the saving baptism spoken of in Mark 16: 16, where just belief, without repentance and the baptism by the Spirit into the body of believers one is not saved. See Romans 8: 8, 9. which reveals that we are part of the body, evidenced by the indwelling Spirit.

Read what it says.

15And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

It doesn’t say, “Who is not baptized will be condemned.”

Not necessarily.... receiving the indwelling presence is a separate act from salvation....... Now, they CAN occur at the same time, BUT they come to us differently. The Apostle Paul explains HOW we receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts...........just saying

I do not agree. Just saying. By the way the bible does not teach what you are espousing. Titus 3:5

I think rather in spite of my background instead it is because of my background I was saved. I thank God for all I have been through because it made me who I am today and is a testament of how he uses the broken and wounded to shine his glory. The only reason I got water baptized was because Jesus did it, I didn't even do it to proclaim anything other than what was already in my heart but the moment I was baptized with fire that was when I truly felt his presence and when I was truly saved

Well as far as I know we receive him once he is let into our hearts but I think the manifestation of the spirit is what we recieve as we grow closer to him. The more we develop our bond with him the more the influence of the spirit becomes evident in the light we shine the gifts we show and the way he flows with the person and with the body of Christ

Water baptism immediately after believing the Gospel. But water baptism does not save, so this needs to be properly interpreted.

I didn't get water baptized until a year after I was saved, I don't know how important it is to do so right after salvation but I think the topic of water baptism is a vastly misunderstood one.
I mean aside from the fact that some believe it is what saves us or is necessary for salvation it also seems there is confusion about what it is actually for and the symbolism behind it. I have always seen water to be a very spiritual symbolism We come into this life by coming out of the water of the womb we are born sinners and born by the flesh, however in water baptism it is literally like being reborn. We are placed back into the water except this water is not of the flesh and come out of the water again not of the flesh but in the spirit and born into this world yet again but we are no longer of it.
This to me is what water baptism symbolizes

According to Scripture (the book of Acts) water baptism was always immediately after conversion. Just go through that book. And if it was not important, it would have been delayed. Paul even baptized at midnight!

Well at the time I was a new believer and I didn’t have anybody to guide me besides God so I was unaware of how baptism was

I believe Baptism is the means God has provided for us to receive the gift of Himself.

3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Yeah that works very well if you have an bona fide Apostle on hand.

My question is this:
Would you accept baptism at the hands of who you believed was an unbelieving pastor? I have refused baptism by several pastors who I thought were just basically a joke. I also vacated those "Churches" as well. I mean if your perception and conscience will not allow for such a holy convocation to be performed, should you go ahead and have it performed nevertheless?
