Agree, God only knows who are His by the seal of the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
You mean to say you've departed from iniquity by obeying Mathew 5:48?

So you've assurance and joy of salvation? Or you've to wait till your last breath after you've proved your saving faith in order to be assured?
And now even more straw man arguments and misrepresentation. As stated, you’ve misrepresented LS salvation completely. It doesn’t teach what you assume. Perhaps you should know what it is actually teaching instead of erecting straw man arguments?

Have you read the OP which has a quote from ls salvation?
Does not ls teacher works to prove saving faith?

Mathew 7:11: "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children". Even evil people do good deeds. How then do you say Christians might never do good works totally?

So doing both good and evil works determines you have saving faith?
Why to you reply to each post but do not understand or perhaps remember what you have read from me_ The good works that give eternal reward are what our Maker gives us to do. Perhaps you can think up something other flesh would honor you for doing, but you are never going to think of anything to do for God. The difference is, He gives you, providing you are a willing faithful servant, what to do.
Do not confuse something food in the age with the eternal good, big difference, the later is perfect.

You mean to say bible discussions are for passing time and not for edification and outreach?
I was referring to the financial part.

If you have come out of Lordship Salvation doctrine I get the angst .. seen it many times, however best you settle down a bit.

Ls contains only financial deception? Or doctrinal as well? I have no angst.

What does Matthew 5:48 have to do with the Timothy passage? A believer may grieve the Holy Spirit through his life, but the Lord knows who are His by the seal, not by what He observes in the flesh. The end of the Timothy verse is a command to those in Christ. Shouldn’t we depart from iniquity? Departing from iniquity does not prove one’s salvation.

I am glad you have no angst, how can we know about financial deception but I think we can discuss the doctrinal problems.

Certainly "metanoia" does not mean turning from sin.

If good works prove saving faith what about the evil works you do?

Secondly can you earn rewards from God by your works? If yes, will you also earn punishments for your evil deeds?

Ppl are known by their works. Works are the effects of being saved, not the cause. None can work themselves saved, neither can they work to maintain their salvation. Just like in Matthew 25, the sheep were rewarded for what they did for their fellow man. But this is not what saved them, neither did it maintain their salvation.

Wherever works are taught to be trusted for salvation, money is fleeced. History attests to that.

Of course I read your OP, that's why I readily dismantled it. :)

Scripture teaches works prove saving faith. LS does as well since it is biblical. LS doesn't teach works cause or contribute to salvation, and that is the assumption you're incorrectly making.

So to earn rewards you do only good works and totally refrain from evil works? If not, don't you have to expect punishments also for your evil works?

I have not really considered that.. but something to consider.
I see LS as a method of control more than about money... people are terrified that they are not saved unless they can prove it.

Nope. But we are to help those in need. We are commanded to do these things. Bad ppl can do good things, but it doesn’t mean they‘re good ppl. Good ppl can do bad things but it doesn’t mean they’re bad ppl.
