You cannot lose salvation because God is faithful. A person can apostate and reject the only source of salvation. But it is always there freely available to all who put and keep their faith in Christ.

But people will debate this. Some say you are sealed forever and never could walk away.

While some say those who fall away was never true believers.

You will have to weigh those scriptures against those that speak on apostasy, fall away, warnings against losing faith, warnings against being led astray, and scriptures that call for us to abide.

What if you have faith but believe you’ve lost salvation?

What about when Jesus said ‘go and sin no more’? And we sin more 😔
In context we are in a sanctification process which means in Christ the punishment of sin is fulfilled. We are justified therefore seen as righteous. Of course the flesh is still a battle but we are covered in grace. When you sin now, you are inhibiting what God could be doing through you. But God can also see your heart and see are you truly after His heart.

I was reading Jeremiah 14, when The Lord rejects His people because of their ‘wandering’ and their repentance is to no avail. It’s a stark warning

But how many times does God say if you will return or hear my voice?

Of course God's judgment is eventually a factor but God's promise was always there. After judgment you saw his people cry out to God again and God forgave His people.

Yes but that was speaking of the Jews in their constant disobedience and following God's instruction. They were a rebellious children but he still loved them and called them his people. Salvation on the other hand was done when Jesus proclaimed the words it is finnished and gave the final breath of his life to God.

Your salvation is set in stone the moment he comes into your heart, there is nothing that be taken from his hands once it is his and your sins and doubts and fear can never break the covanent he made. In fact the reality you are worried about this is only proof of your salvation. Do you know how many who call themselves Christians don't even bother to consider their sins or how they dishonor God in their reckless abandon to do as they please?
We don't try to not sin for salvation we try to be pure and holy but also to honor his work on the cross. Grace is abundant but is not to be taken for granted or advantage of.

Don't fret about your failings and sin or your salvation rest in his peace and grace and draw closer to him this is how the spirit works as we draw closer to his heart he flows more and more this is not simply a thing we ought to as believers it is the key to his heart.

I wrote an essay on Jeremiah. The moral is; "sincere" repentance.
I am sincerely repentant for sins that have ruined my life, but what about the sins that didn't?
They still offended The Lord
How do we repent?

It seems my own conscience tells me when in prayer that I am totally unworthy of the Blood of te Lamb. Then the Father gives me a pat on the head letting me know I am just like all the rest of His children, except for One...…….. I know exactly what you are saying, and only our Father, Pop, can soothe you. Be well in the heart soul, and mind always because He is guarding you and will not allow you to despair of your salvation, for, though I have difficulty believing it, we are very precious in His sight.

Its impossible to get salvation truly and then lose it. It someone is truly saved there is no looking back. Its impossible for someone who has experiences and developed knowledge of the bible, to lose their faith and then come back to life spiritually speaking. The bible says that.
