For you, you are quoting the wrong post.

I was saying that you don't need to know nor understand anything about the death burial and resurrection of Jesus, in order to preach the gospel of the kingdom.
One of the most clueless and foolish posts ever. You just stated one doesn’t need to know the gospel to preach it. Unreal. You need to repent.

The good news that the Son of God is finally sent to the flesh to Israel. Thru God's grace he came.

Israel needed to respond in faith to that grace, which is repent and be baptized.

If they respond in faith, Jesus as the Son of God would usher Israel into their promised kingdom.

It is then that their sins will finally be remitted (Acts 3:19)
Wrong...........again!

You should forgot this passage in the last time you checked?

Luke 18:31-34 King James Version (KJV)

31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
I forgot nothing deceiver.....You said...NONE OF THEM BELIEVED HE SHOULD DIE.....I said....QUOTE A VERSE THAT SAYS....NONE OF THEM BELIEVED HE SHOULD DIE!

You all see how this clown operates.....he makes a blanket statement, attributes words to the apostles they did NOT SAY, THEN embellishes and or CHANGES the context to try and cover or smooth over being nailed.....!

Listen Gong Show.....this is why you are unbelievable and false in the dogma you peddle!

The following is False
were, not are. The gospel of the kingdom that was preached, before Paul, required faith AND works.

Think of the 3 time periods where Scripture is placed: Time past, but now, the age to come.

We are in the But now time period, where it is faith apart from works.

Out of context and totally misrepresented:

(Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord)

(Acts 4:4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.)

So you can't just time shift this into a future slot.

What applied to the Jews he's speaking to (metanoia) applied to the Gentiles when they were brought in later through Peter and Paul.

Acts 3:19 literally says in the past tense, Israel's sins of rejecting and crucifying their Messiah will be forgiven once the "time of refreshing arrives".

If you don't want to read it literally, that is your choice.

I'm reading it literally and in the full context of Peter's speech. You are trying to muddy the picture.

How can they be forgiven their crucifying of Christ? They are all dead and buried without any repentance. Your arguments are illogical.

WOW...I am lost for words , this is shocking beyond all levels...
...xox...
My bible is clear....one must be born again from above to spiritually discern the word of God.........and what he said, absolutely contradicts the truth given by a man INSPIRED in the Corinthian letter and numerous other books as well!!!

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Peter is telling national Israel that because they did it in ignorance, recall Jesus's prayer at the cross for God to forgive Israel because they know not what they do, if they are willing to repent and be baptized, even this sin could be blotted out.

It was an offer to national Israel.

Peter was widely acknowledged in the 4 gospels as the spokesman for all the other 11 apostles. The gospel accounts and even the first half of Acts, for such reasons, choose to focus mainly on what he said and did.

The obvious implication for us readers is that whatever Peter believed and said at those times is representative for all of the 12.

But if you want to split hair like that, I am not going to play this game with you. You are free to hold a view that only Peter did not believe, but the rest did.

Why did you leave out the full context:

(Acts 4:4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.)

Ignorance yes, but these 5000 repented. There is no salvation for the rest of them:

(Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you)

(Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.)

You've got them all saved for a worse crime than unbelief, may as well grant a pass of all those in unbelief and go with universal salvation.

Come on in Hitler - you did it in ignorance.

If Israel did repent as in v19, obviously they are "hearing that prophet" right?
