Hey All... I had words come together today and had to pen them down and then I felt like I should share them with you all...

What Satan once had planned to be poison to our growth and survival, has been transformed by God to fertilizer to help us thrive.
Our Pain and Tragedies go from stumbling blocks to the very stones which elevate us to ministry.
God is a Way Maker, a Miracle Worker, a Promise Keeper and the Light in the Darkness.
Your brokenness does not have to stay your weakness - it can become your greatest strength and asset!

Also:
I think I connected with a Gentleman over a dating site - We are going for coffee this Saturday or Sunday.
It's been unreal how it all happened. So I would really like to ask if you could pray for our meeting :)

Yesterday he told me that after seeing my profile he reactivated his account so he could send me a message (well no - the reactivation is so I could send him a message back if I wanted), he paid 50$ in hopes that this girl would perhaps read his message and answer it and to see if it could go somewhere...

And there are many more things that really have impressed me - During our first conversation he said that he under no circumstances wants me to ever feel under pressure - that he felt we should beginn as friends - build trust before we decide if we want to take a next step into a deeper relationship.

And each time at the end of our conversation he will tell me that he does not agree with any negative things I might have blurted out about myself. I am so used to putting myself down - I guess it's habitual because of years of verbal abuse during my formative years. (And almost zero encouragement during that same time). I don't ever remember what I have said about myself that was negative - because I guess I do it so naturally...

Anyways - I am excited and I am hopeful...

Love you all!

Hope all goes well with your coffee date Heart Melody on the weekend. I pray that the Holy Spirit gives you discernment and wisdom as to whether this guy is genuine and to make it clear to you before emotions get involved.:)

Jeremiah 29:11-14:)

What you wrote here reminded me of this... and I so agree! Best wishes, and stay safe :)

Thank you!
I will ;)

that was another thing that struck me - he lives almost 2h away - but he said he will drive to meet me where ever I want in order for me to be safe and feel safe. I am just super blown away by his consideration. o.o

Most guys are like "So when you driving down here" and if you tell them you don't want to drive all the way to a large city you dont know they stop texting all together.

And I love that scripture - The Lord broght it to my attention today as well :)

Blessings on your meet and greet! I met an online guy friend. I told myself from the start I wasn’t gonna try to impress him when we were getting to know each other. Even if things didn’t move to the next level, at least I made a new friend. :)

Right! That is what Nate stresses - Lets just meet as friends and learn to trust each other ;D That makes me feel more relaxed!

be safe
I think with dates is be careful if you going to meet someone youve never met before ...pray as you dont just hop in a car and go somewhere youve never been or be a passenger in someones car (you can see if they lack driving skills)

Now restrictions are for the most part over you still need to be careful. I know some people think a two hours drive is nothing but if you going to spend and hour or so with someone, you would need to give up at least half a day getting there and back.

I will pray you dont come to harm as someone driving two hours hust to meet someone they may not have met before may be gentlemanly or it may be they are actually running away from their own situation. (been there before) when you met for coffee or whatever it is, ask if hes dating lots of other girls as the same time as you...I supoose he has to make it worthwhile.

@Heart_Melody , I know you’ll be wise about the meet up. Let it be at a public place and let a friend or family member know where and what time the meet will take place just so someone knows.

I am so happy for you. I have always appreciate the honesty with which you share here and I hope the very best for you. You seem really lovely. You deserve to be treated as a good person. He is being a gentleman in driving down to meet you and in being clear that you do not need to feel pressure. There is a vulnerability in mentioning a future but not promising things. A friend of mine recently started talking to this fellow who starting talking about growing old together and having big dinners for future grandchildren. It was a huge red flag as they hadn't even met. He raced to saying all sorts of things and then disappeared because he said he was insecure. Your guy sounds like there is balance. That is exciting.
I wish you happiness, wisdom and discernment, and I hope that you feel appreciated, and that he helps you to see your beauty. Hugs, laughingheart

Best of luck to you! I pray the Lord guides your meeting.

But I’m jealous you can go somewhere and get coffee together!!

Where do you dwell that it is so free?

This is a most exciting development and I will pray that it goes well and that you are both comfortable and relaxation and will take it from there. It is great that you talk on the phone every day. I met my wife on this site and before we actually saw each other we would talk on the phone every night.

You betcha! We are going to a small cafe close by my home - and my pastors wife and pastor and my "adopted dad" know and they have his phone number and full name - first middle and last :) So I definitely feel safe!

Awe - this message was so adorable and sweet - thank so much for taking the time to write this thoughtful message.
I have a good feeling about it - God has been doing such changes recently... He closed the door to my slightly abusive job completely and opened a job interview for next week where I can work with vulnerable Children in our community (a dream job of mine) and then also opened up this opportunity for me and N to meet....

I can't explain - but so far it seems he has been everything that I have prayed for, for years... I am very hopeful and thankful...

And yes I get that feeling! My last boyfriend kept talking like that and he acted "VERY" different from his speeches and then he kept talking about marriage. Because he was into prison ministry my mentor at the time got us expensive tickets to a Gala for a prison and she did that because of him and gave us 2 months head up - So he knew! And then the DAY OFF he apparently was "sick". (And this whole time he refused to meet any of my friends (3 months relationship) and when I tried to call him to find out why he was not coming to the gala - he would not pick up the phone.

But as soon as I left a message that I was breaking up with him, he texted "WHAT I WAS SURE WE WOULD BE MARRIED BY DECEMBER (It was November now) and I said "How did you figure that if you never even asked me??" UGH most frustrating relationship I have ever been in for sure...

But this is not at all the vibes I get from N... He does everything differently and is very thoughtful...

By the end of every Phone Call he says "A - You said negative things about yourself during the phone call - and I want you to know I don't agree with them - I think you are a very special person and I happen to like you. So don't sell yourself short..."

I've never had a guy say things like that to me...

Anyways - I am kind of swooning - but I am also thankful that he wants us to proceed as friends and that Makes this meeting so nice - it's not a "Date- Date" It's more just a hang out - I am definitely not dressing up ... Just wearing some jeans and a nice shirt (what I would normally wear to a coffee shop)...
Thanks for the prayers and your encouragement always <3
