Forums are less than chatty places. A little more slow moving than IM/PM/DM or live voice chats but there is definitely a lot of fellowship to be had. Not that there isn't "chatting" on CC but it's more conversation/discussion but perhaps you will find it simpler than I do.
I've found the singles forum (and misc loosely) to be some of the friendliest places here, with a bit of "getting to know you" going on the most frequently. Welcome
