Figured I would take the plunge and say hi to everyone. :) I found this site doing a Google searching for Christian dating sites awhile back. I hope this site turns out to be better than the "Christian" dating site I was on for a short time. lol Would love to make some new friends and participate in some of the forums. Haven't been able to get the chat app to work on my laptop but maybe I will one day. I have Hangouts and Skype if anyone might want to say hello that way. Looking forward to making some new friends so don't hesitate to say hello. :)

CC isn't an official dating site, though a few have met and married here. :)

Please do NOT give out ANY personal info about yourself, including your Skype or Hangouts. EVERYTHING posted here is searchable with any search engine.

The main focus of this site is for genuine Christian fellowship rather than a dating site. The best conversations actually take place in the forums because you can really learn who the members are and what they are about. As you are an unknown entity I am sure that most members will be cautious and may indeed hesitate to initiate an actual conversation until they possibly get to know you better. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Thanks for the welcome and information. I do understand this isn't a "dating" site. I just was pointing out that I stumbled upon this site because of a search for a dating site. But, who knows, maybe I could meet someone on here. So I am keeping hope alive. :)

Regarding the possibility of meeting that special one here, I met my wife, who is also a member on this site a couple months after I first joined in 2014. There have been several marriages that happen as a result of this site and quite a few relationships.

Yes, by all means, keep your hope alive. I have come to know many wonderful Christians here and also have physically met another member who lives in the area. My wife and I have had breakfast and lunch with him and his wife quite few times. My wife also has exchanged snail mail with quite a few other members as well.

Perhaps God has steered you to this site for a specific reason.

This site has been a tremendous blessing to me and pray that the same holds true for you too.
