No. Throwing your car keys in the Lake is not like losing them. You know exactly were they are because you put them there willfully.
I truly thank my heavenly Father that He holds on to me , never leaving nor forsaking me...
And when we have the Holy Spirit of God in us who leads us home , He will never allow us to remain in the worldly ways , Satan cannot live in a child of God next to the Holy Spirit , even if we do sometimes step our toes into the ways of the world , God will chastise us , and sometimes even take our life...

This is a good question. It’s actually true that we first love our salvation same as children first love their parents because they meet their needs. It’s only later, maybe, one comes to love for a different reason.

How does one know? The christians who talk ostly about their salvation, how wonderful it is, or generally what they GET out of Jesus love the gifts. Those who love the giver don’t talk about the gift that much. They have other matters related to Jesus to talk about.
Hmm... ok so do you mean how we seek to be saved but it is only after we are saved once we get to know him and develop that relationship that we love him and our salvation for a different reason?

Actually if you deny OSAS this cannot be true because it is the foundation of all understanding of scripture.
The foundation of all scripture is certainly not OSAS. No one ever even mentioned it but it’s pieced together from scripture sentences isolated from the context.

Most likely they have become so sin conscious they have lost sight of grace.

Sin is attractive under the law... We desire holiness when we understand who we are in Christ.
I also want to mention what I said before is not entirely true, at first I remember I wanted to be saved I went to church and stuff to try to find him but I felt something was missing there was no conncetion and no one taught me about that connection I just somehow felt that I wanted the real thing I wanted to really be close to him and have a connection not just a God to worship and pray to. But at that time I loved my video games more than I wanted him and it wasn't until I was at my lowest point where everything in my life was absolute garbage to me even my own life that I cried out to him with all my heart and soul that I was actually saved.

I gave you a long post of why it is and you did not even attempt to prove your dogma against it.

No scripture, no verse, no passage, no chapter makes the statement that God un-justifies, un-redeems or un-sanctifies the believer, it does not exist.

I knew them before and after. It really isn’t difficult. VCO wrote he/she doesn’t believe I’m even saved. How was that done?

You should have seen what he wrote about me and my relationship with God.

He found it gut wrenching and disturbing....the gushing love I have for the Lord....

The Lord needs to soften his heart is all I can say...so pray for him in Jesus Name....Amen!

Saying people are full of darkness that is okay though....Hmmm?

Well its more for those who love their salvation. Loving Jesus and living your salvation are very different.
Understand and agree. My thought is that those who love Him follow Him and the evidence of their faith is fruits and good works. We know them by their fruits, just like @Blain said.

So if a believer starts to stray God kills them??? You know, Jesus didn’t say the plants (faith) that withered or choked out would be plucked up. He also says the branches that didn’t bear fruit would be cut off and burned, not cut off before they didn’t bear fruit because they weren’t.

Read the text ... it very clearly states 'men" not Jesus.

That is called twisting scripture fit your faulty dogma.

What is obvious now is you promote you view without evidence to support it... why is that?

How can one love their salvation if they do not first love Jesus?
They do go together, and one can lose their first love.

Rev 2
2:4 Nevertheless I have [somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Thats what I did. Their fruits were very good. Then they changed their minds and the fruit changed.

I am not sure on this....but I find eternally grateful knowledgeable in scripture....I have been told that if I am continually disobedient..knowingly it can end in death....?

@DorothyMae ...
I did not imply that in my post...
You can be quiet harsh without understanding...

I first started looking into Salvation because I was afraid of going to Hell. I didn't sense the love and mercy and kindness of Jesus until afterwards.

and, as you posted yourself I(n 1 John 5:13), we are to continue to believe.
1 John 5:13 reads, " I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. "

This verse is in the present tense. It says nothing about continuing to believe.
