If I duplicate his original post, and post it in the ladies forum, you would have a different view on it, wouldnt you?
Me personally, no. I have a little too much self respect to tolerate someone yelling at me telling me what is wrong with me and trying to tell me what I "should" be doing instead. If that doesn't bother you, you might just be a little bit naive (no offense).

Its like someone coming up to you in a parking lot saying "YOU ARE GOING TO HELL, SINNER!!" Not exactly the way Jesus would speak now is it?
No, you are mistaken...He doesnt pinpoint at any particular women like you see ,..he is simply asking "which of you",..Do you see the difference?

You may think whatever you like to think about me, I am not offended, but it doesnt bother me at all because he is just reminding me to pray more..what harm does it do to me of that reminder?

He is asking it in a condescending way. Its like someone saying, "which of you are good enough to call yourselves a Christian?"

He's not reminding, he's demanding. He's basically saying that women are stupid and they need to wise up.

And I happen to think you are awesome Juliet. I still remember the things you said in chat, and will not forget them. I really didnt want to say u might be naive, but I dont want you to be naive to this. I remember what you said in chat and that is why I decided to tell you that.

Who is a virtuous woman among you!! PRAY WOMEN!!! PRAY!!!

Who is a holy woman? Which one of you has not followed vanity? Which of you are faithful and full of compassion? It is time for the prayerful women to return, and make intercessory for the people again. Which of you women have kept to be righteousness, and have held the law of the Lord very dear in the fear of the Lord!!

Which of you women, like women of old are modest and shod with mercy and bowels of compassion? PRAY WOMEN PRAY!! Return to the threshing floor!!

So many women are asking for prayer, BUT WHICH OF YOU ARE PRAYING!! Don't you know that the Lord favors those who ask him, not with selfishness, nor with bitterness, nor with vanity, but those who really really care for lost souls. Don't you know that the Lord your God is mighty and powerful. And that he loves you very dearly that he will answer your prayers? Many women of old have prayed their knees dry to the bone for many of The Church. Which of you is faithful? Who is virtuous?

I love you in Jesus Christ, May he bless and keep you. Amen!!

thank you for writing it ... thank you that you remind us that we too often too concentrate our attention on worldly things , but for real we need start to be more focus on God and to spent more time in His word and a prayer .... and yet , yes we start to less care to win souls for Gods kindom ... so its a good reminder for us .. that we need finally to wake up ... thank you :)

Thanks Ramon for the refresher. I think it's nice that a man cares enough about women to encourage them. Getting offended is one thing, but having unkind words about it is unbiblical ladies.. So pray women pray!!! Haha (seriously)

No Luba, its not. I really don't see how one can read the entire original post and interpret it as anything but a verbal thrashing that is degrading to women. It is not a simple reminder to pray. It is really telling women that they are lousy Christians.

I only try to speak the truth. If you don't see it the same way then one of us is wrong. He cannot have meant it two different ways. He can only meant it how he meant it, so only one of us can be right.

He has no authority over me and he does not know me so where does he get the right to speak to me or anyone in an authoritative tone? For me to listen to some stranger who is talking down to me is having NO pride at all.

If you listen to strangers who talk down to you, then I guess that is your choice.

By the way, I worry about those who are not put off by the tone of the original post because their inability to see that negative tone may mean that they would have trouble recognizing if they were in an abusive relationship.

Read proverbs 19:11 A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

Do you know that it is a good quality to take no offense especially on this reminder?

And about the abusive rship you are talking about is irrelevant to what we are discussing here.

I'm not offended, I would have to be a woman to be offended by what he said. I am just asking if he can please stop using an offensive tone in his "preaching" posts. Apparently not everyone here thinks his tone is offensive, but if it offends more than two or three people in here (and it does) then it is offending people. Maybe not to you, or to some others, but there are a number of people here that do find it offensive.

My friend the tone comes from your heart. May Jesus bless you.
