Wrong.

Are you alluding to the silly concept that God only sees Christ in the believer, not the sin he commits?
Isa 61:10 might give you some clues there

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Some people say the Hebrew translation of the 2nd piece of clothing is saying that we are completely wrapped, 360 degrees, with Jesus's robe of righteousness.

Another thing...my friend is a born again..she falls into temptation and sleeps with her boyfriend....

She is still saved...just weak in that area....I’m not judging her either....God is at work in her and she will never lose her salvation.

And you get even more clues from:

Proverbs 28:13
He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. (God wouldn't undue this principle by violating his own word).

And here's some insight for those who would continue in sin after being purged:

Ezekiel 24:13
...because I have purged you, and you were not purged, you shall not be purged from your filthiness any more, until I have caused by fury to rest upon you.

Comparing scripture with scripture, especially in the new testament, shows Isaiah 61:10 to be the experience of the unbeliever who becomes born again receiving the imputation (covering) of righteousness.

You must not defile the garments God gives you (Revelation 3:4).

Does a baby bear fruit?
it may, but it may not right away,
the HS is just beginning to work
I love this truth because it reminds me of being so blinded for 54 years of my life ( I am now 58 )...
When the Holy Spirit enters us , He cleans us , as in the junk we have believed from the world...
I believe it has taken a good 3 years of my walk with our Lord before He started using me for His calling , before that , I was not mature enough nor confident enough , but the more of God`s word in me , the more it changes me to walk as He will have me walk , but that is my walk I am talking about , everyone is different...

Yes. Rahab is a good example of a baby believer. All of Jericho we’re afraid of the God of Israel, but they didn’t repent and believe on Him.

Rahab not only feared the Lord, but had faith to believe on Him as well. Yet she tells an absolute lie about the messengers she’s hiding.

After personally seeing the Lord spare her and her family in such a miraculous way, you can bet her faith was strengthened and the next time she wouldn’t have lied, realizing the Lord will fund a way to save His Children.

This is also how we are matured as we see the Lord work in our lives. So it’s incumbent on the more mature Christians to have patience with their baby siblings.

He did to me. Took me to Heaven, I played with an incredibly enormous Lion and we laughed so much....we just laughed......couldn’t talk, we’d just look at each other and laugh!!

Heaven is filled with so much laughter, to me....so much joy!!

I was thinking the same to be honest at @Lafftur post...
Was Paul not permitted to speak of such things when he was taken by the Spirit ?
I believe that is why he was given a thorn in his side , to keep him humble , to keep him from boasting...

I was playing a baseball game, collided with one of my teammates and was knocked out. While unconscious I dreamt I was in Hawaii. Seems to me too many people hit their heads.

DorothyMae- It’s time to STOP.

If you will repent for trying to mislead others into works to maintain salvation, God will cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

If not, you will be handed over to Satan for the destruction of your flesh.

Period. End of conversation.
Now this is a great post, Lafftur. Truthful, sincere and to the point.

Interesting post but.....doesn’t The Holy Spirit actually teach us The Word of God?!

Who is man to think he knows the Mind of God?!!

Understanding The Holy Bible can ONLY be with The Holy Spirit- the only one that can open the scriptures and share with us God’s thoughts.
I actually don't agree with this, the Holy Spirit will only guide you but it is your responsibility to study the Bible. To many times are we sitting back expecting the Holy Spirit to teach us. We need to know if the spirit teaching us is teaching us something contrary to the word of God. If we have a lack of knowledge we can be deceived by any spirit.

Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

We have to study the word and as we study we will receive revelation from the Spirit.

Hope this make sense?

God bless :)

If Christ could not have had the ability to sin, HIM being tempted in all points as we are tempted would have had NO practical purpose. We cannot alleviate the humanity of Jesus and or him being tempted and tried.....could he have sinned YES....did he sin NO and that is what makes his sacrifice so perfect!
There is a lot of debate on that point. MacArthur says that, no, Christ could not sin. Quite frankly I'm not sure one way or the other. Maybe we will know for sure later.

Indeed Jesus had the ability to sin. That’s what makes His sacrifice perfect. If Jesus was not able to sin then His sacrifice is synthetic.
