Did we inherit sin from Adam and Eve?

Also when they sinned, they were naked....because they were uncovered?.they tried hiding from God?...God knew straight away what they had done?
And he was not pleased.
Their eyes were opened?
The interesting question you might ask is this, when God ask, where are you? Why did he asked that since he is omniscient?

Did God know where they are but was just pretending to Adam and Eve that he did not?
Or
Did God really not know where they were hiding?

Asking questions is a readily accepted teaching tool that in no way indicates that the questioner does not already know the answer; in asking, they either seek to find out if the one being questions knows the answer, and/or to spur the other to reflection which would lead to the answer. In this case, it could be that God was letting Adam and Eve know that they were lost to Him, in the same way we are lost when born in the natural state. Certainly in disobeying, they had lost the privileged relationship they had previously enjoyed with God.

For me, I believe God has always been relating to them spirit to spirit, before the fall,

Thus, when they disobeyed God, they died spiritually and hence God could not see their spirit anymore.

That was why he asked out where are they.

Why is this important for us? When we accept Christ work on the cross for us, our spirit is now reborn into Christ divine nature. No sin that we do in our body can ever cause that spirit to die again.

As far as God is concerned, our spirit is perfect, just like Christ is.

There are those that God talks to warns many times but will not change. "It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man has his father’s wife!" And they were told that person should have been removed. Yet.. to save the person Paul had already passed judgment.

"I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus."

We can't freely walk in sin. Always have to repent. Yes.. this still happens today. And no.. no simple believer can do this. Paul had the authority right to. He was over them.

If He cannot see those who are lost, how can He seek and find to save the lost?

I only said God cannot see their spirit anymore. You believe you are a spirit, you possess a soul and you live in a body correct?

The spirit belongs to God. I do not possess a soul; I am a living soul.

You don’t see yourself as a trinity, just as God is?
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:7

I realized you are fond of quoting scripture without answering the question directly.

So your answer to the trinity question is yes or no? You are not willing to take a stand?

I am taking a stand on being living soul as opposed to having a soul, though you miss the point entirely in your preferential haste to disparage me. I do not answer to you. If you wish to dispute what Scripture explicitly states, that is your prerogative.

Here you deny the omniscience of God.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Hebrews 4:13 And no creature is hidden from His sight, but all are
naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Job 28:24 For He looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.

Actually It’s fine if you don’t wish to answer questions.

If you understand the distinction between spirit, soul and body, it will be easier for you to understand where I am coming from.

I can’t believe I’m saying this...but I do feel safe with you in this thread, protecting us born again....x
Thank you.....I know I am as rough as a cob, get mouthy sometimes, am brash at times, straight forward and sometimes seem angry when I am not....I just know where I have come from through Jesus, know what he has done for us and I really despise the truth being devalued, twisted, skewed, embellished etc....I may fail the Lord 1000 times a day, but I for sure love the truth God....I guess the Marine in me comes out on occasion....I apologize if I offended you the last couple of days.

No need to apologise....God has shown me what you were doing.....it was for my own good and I thank you for it.

I have a real peace in my Spirit now....which to me means I’m on the right path that God wants me to be on.......if I am confused again I will come to you and eternally grateful.....because what you both teach is God’s word.

I won’t engage with false teacher anymore....what a waste of time...I leave them to you....you know how to handle them I don’t....my emotions still get in the way.x

God not being able to see them? Loosely @Guojing I could see how he would no longer see them alive spiritually, but this would still interact with omniscience and sovereignty, so that would have to be factored rather clearly to say I "agree" with you. Let's not go too far off topic but perhaps you have a different wording of the same thing?

Not to say he could not see them (per se)...but that he could not see their life.

If you want to get esoteric, the words themselves could potentially have been a lament after a fashion.

Where have you gone? You are right in front of me but I cannot find you! Did you eat what I told you not to eat?

I rarely take liberties like that...it made me a bit emotional doing so, and I have felt the fall deeply more than once. It is rather heartbreaking.

Fortunately there is a "however"...John 3:16. :)

It doesn’t happen that way. One cannot simply claim the Holy Spirit will teach one all as one wishes to be informed.
Thats the right attitude although sometimes understanding is granted.

Perhaps when forming your questions eternal truth should be in mind. If it is simply about anything other than the Gospel, it is not necessarily eternal truth, just curiosity about others and this age.
