What is God sharing with you to feel blessed? Testimonial if you will? It will bless others.

Roughsoul19 God has blessed us with constant peace of mind, my testimony is God set me free of depression. God restored my marriage. God blessed us with Real Estate and gave us more than enough to share with others naturally and spiritually.

What happened to set you free from depression?

Roughsoul19 I was untaught and unlearned and confused about many things for many years. I suffered panic attacks for many years and constantly thought about death. One day I cried out to God and asked him to show me how to live. I began to develop A relationship with the Lord and follow him and learned the Holy Bible. Today I live for God as A Christian Minister. God gave me my life back and I gave it to him. God has answered so many prayers for us, he has even held back the rain. God is so wonderful and full of grace, fairness and love!

So what advice do you have for a seasoned Christian who has prayed and done everything possible but still struggle with anxiety, panic, and depression?

I would suggest you relearn. Sometimes we get so caught up in listening to what everyone is saying and miss God I think we all have been there. Allow God to teach you secretly in your room that is what I did. and received direct power. Of course we should also listen to others, but make sure your foundation is built on the Lord and not on what was heard. This is A slow process but fully worth it. Be patient and the Lord's work be perfected in you.

Actually, that is how my journey began. Freedom foundation was what I called it. It has brought me a long way. And as for now the only answer I get are these verses.

2 Corinthians 12:8-10 New International Version (NIV)
8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

But I know I'm not alone. Quite a few heroes of faith in Scripture had episodes of anxiety and depression. Jesus himself in the garden is often the example I look to as how he dealt with anxiety.

I'm sure we all have anxiety some times which is normal, but to dwell in anxiety is not. 1 Corinthians 8-10 is one of the Lord's beautiful teachings that I live by also and has helped me. God also teaches us how to rightly divide the word of truth this helps in so many ways. We call on the Lord constantly because we need him every moment. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. We also testify about God's goodness. Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. Anxiety is no longer defeating us like it once was because we are now free in Christ, whom the Son set free is free indeed! Meaning our spirit and soul dwell in God although we experience some human turmoil, God has given us the victory in it.

Here is what I do and it seems to help greatly. Each morning during my prayers I say before going to work I tell God that I am giving all my care, fears, and anxiety over to Him, and to give me peace in my mind, joy in my heart and a bounce in my step. I started to do this a few months ago and it is helped to lift the cloud of depression that was hovering over me. There are many things that you cannot control so my counsel is to trust in God to take control of these things of an unknown nature.

although we experience some human turmoil,
It is in those times between flesh and Spirit that are often the hardest but in perseverance we find discipline.

Very true. Sometimes the mind gets so chaotic or in a panic that I cannot focus on the logic or reality of the situation. There is a term called grounded as in to find your grounding when the mind seems to be out of control. I have a bad habit of constantly feeding the thoughts instead of finding time to go off like Jesus to spend time closer with God. Anxiety comes with knowing but also comes with the unknown. So it is often a cycle with negative info.

As He tasted death for ALL men by the grace of God (Hebrews 2:9) so that we who believe can taste that same death by faith (Romans 6:6-8, Galatians 2:20), and our declaration will be, “O taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man that trusts in Him.”

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Isaiah 32:17

Romans 4:5 teaches us that God only awards Righteousness only on the basis of Faith in Christ and His Finished Work. Our Faith must be placed exclusively in Jesus, the Son of God, and Jesus, the Lamb of God to be awarded Righteousness. If we preach Jesus alone and ignore the Cross (the Lamb of God), that is another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4). This is sin, a insult to God!

Holiness and Sanctification are actually the same thing. Our holiness is obtained by faith and trust in Christ and what He did at the Cross. Without such Faith, there is no holiness, and there is no Salvation.

The gospel remains to be the only avenue through which Righteousness is revealed and experienced (Romans 1:16-17), and without the experience of Righteousness there is no Holiness, and without Holiness, no one can see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

Roughsoul19 We are all at different places in the Lord. We all have many different experiences is life. Our personal relationship with the Lord is just that it's personal. God will work out all our problems as we walk with him. Christ is the head and we are the body. I'm happy to hear that you walk with God the important thing is to continue in the faith.

Your challenges sound a lot like mine. I've always thought about death a lot, even as a child, and struggled with panic attacks. Focusing on God's Word and pouring myself out in worship is the only thing that helps. Glad to see strong brethren like you on here. Thank you for your beautiful testimony.
