That is blatantly false. I read from the Bible as a non-believer, and so have countless others.
You claim is blatantly false. The authors were addressing believers and believers only. Do you need the salutations from them to be able to see you error? Read who Paul, Peter and John were addressing. You don’t know the Bible well or you would know that. Does make believing OSAS a whole lot easier, I admit.

If we pick the verses we’d like to say describe us, we are deceiving ourselves. Do you see? Who is the better judge of us, the self or others? Depends upon the degree of the love of truth right? We are more likely to pick flattering verses that aren’t true. Just because it’s in the Bible doesn’t mean it’s talking about us.
Not necessarily so, and Scripture addresses this also. We are to see ourselves as we are, and to affirm this fact does not mean just looking at those things we and others like to see, which you seem to assume I am speaking to when I am not.

If only you applied what you say to your own self...
Ah, I do. I know my position well and I know your position well.

If we were to have a contest, I could present OSAS in so unbiased a manner you’d think I believe it. It’s fairly simplistic. But I bet not a single one of you could present my view as I believe it. It’s fairly complex, I admit.

Correct. There are those here who do just that though. They pick a very complimentary verse and say it describes them. These also tend to choose highly complimentary names for themselves. They take places of honor in the public arena.

Only God knows who sins.

Not you high minded OSAS’ers.
Yep he does

If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves

meaning everyone. God inspired John to write those words. so mark the words of John as being spoke directly by God himself

But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Fruit is the character of the speaker, not what followers do or are. That was the problem of the pharisees. Good teaching but bad character. Jesus called them snakes, not liars.
Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders.

Revelation 2:2 2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

At the point of belief all past sins are atoned for (Romans 3:25).

Don’t depend on a OSAS marketing slogan to be at peace with your sin.

Now that would be blasphemy, to say DON'T DEPEND ON JESUS 100%, would it not?

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

John 10:27-28 (HCSB)
27 My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

Ephesians 6:24
(HCSB)
24 Grace be with all
who have undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 11:29 (HCSB)
29 since God’s
gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

What does GOD mean by irrevocable in your religion ? ? ?

Our Obedience spawns from our AGAPE LOVE, only after we HAVE BEEN SAVED, past tense.

The point is the fruit you do see. With time the character is revealed. It’s not that difficult. Even unbelievers recognize the difference between say, trustworthy and untrustworthy men.
Yes, and over time others see your character and then when they reveal what they see of you, to you, you complain bitterly and claim they do not know you.

And mark these words by the same inspired writer:

1 John 3:8
[8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

OSAS denies that the works of the devil were destroyed.

Nope. I do not deny them.. in 1 John 3 he is talking about living like the world. Habitual ongoing sin.. Who ever lives that way is of the devil.

A man born of God can not live that way its impossible.

But to say we will never sin? Like John said, if you think this, YOU ARE DECIEVED AND THERE IS NO TRUTH IN YOU

Those are johns words. Don;t get mad because it refutes your sinless claim. Instead find what sins you are committing and learn to overcvome them. Not excuse them away
