Laughing about this here still, because it is so illogical, false, unreasonable, and just plain wrong and lacking any integrity. It's funny that others agreed with it as well. Critical thinking skills and logic are not their forte, obviously.

So here it is:

@eternally-gratefull concluded, in his "logic" that since I agreed with some post of what a OSAS denier said about something, that means I must and have to also believe one can lose salvation.

Um. LOL!!! :LOL::ROFL::LOL::ROFL::LOL::ROFL::LOL::ROFL:

Goodness sake man...unbelievable.

It is anything, and I mean anything to libel someone and try to destroy them in front of others as to their beliefs even when there is zero evidence.

No evidence? No problem! You'll just make up our own evidence, call you names, threaten, and even insult as well! That is exactly what these folks who profess to be believers have done in this case, and, unfortunately, they do it day by day.

ob Mueller and Hillary would be proud, these people are doing the same things they do!

For the record @Micaiah-imla @biker and others who don't believe in OSAS? Although I vehemently disagree with you all over that, I do possess the maturity to give a like or agree to your posts when I do agree with what you've stated. Obviously that isn't OK with some, but it is OK with me. I'm sure it is with you as well. :)

Do you believe that true believers have failed to confess/speak the same/acknowledge/agree with God's perspective about their sins and have no settled recognition and ongoing acknowledgment of their sins and need of cleansing and forgiveness?

Do you believe that only past sins are forgiven for the believer and all future sins are hanging in the balance and will only be forgiven if we confess each and every sin that we commit as we commit them (keep a specific inventory) and if we forget a sin we are toast? How does that fit with Acts 13:39 - and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

True believers have an ongoing acknowledgement of their sins. I continue to live the Christian life that began for me several years ago. When I stumble and sin, I confess/acknowledge/agree with God's perspective about my sins, but I don't keep a specific inventory of every single sin that I have ever committed as a legalistic prescription to remain cleansed. That's not what John is talking about in 1 John 1:9.
You are avoiding the question. If a person who claims to be a true believer refuses to confess, are they then not a true believer by your definition?

Don’t try to divert by asking me my position as it doesn’t match yours. I don’t have to make up standards by which “true believers” are supposed to be. That’s your theology that makes absolutes true believers have to do or not do.

IF you were truly saved....._YES

You were a prodigal som

I was one myself. It was gods
Continued chastening and discipline which brought me back

What brought you back? Were you chastened as a son?

My Dad was my best friend in life. And if he went to Heaven, I wanted to go to be with him. That is why I chose to come back to God!

And others held onto a ring. Holding on is still rescued from drowning.

You said if one has to hold on it is not almost drowning. Stone that is plain WRONG.You want it to be so to support OSAS but you cannot therefore change the reality of what being rescued from drowning is for the sake of your theology.
and you love debate. Dividing us into teams. Plus I don’t support OSAS. I’ve said it’s eternal security for those who are born of water, born of Spirit.

So you would rather believe in self
Righteous nosas based on works and not christ

I think this may explain what really happened

I think there is a true difference between someone choosing to leave God and do their own thing VS thinking I am saved so I can still do my own thing.

I already answered your question and clarified my points. A person who refuses to ever confess demonstrates they never were a true believer. (1 John 1:9)

And you love saying the absurd as long it’s new and different. You hate being corrected.

Eternal Security and OSAS are the same. Just agree and you won’t find people arguing with you for a change:

I'd agree with your posts here and there when you say something truthful, and I probably miss a lot of your posts. But the thing is I've been told that to agree with a OSAS'er denier means I believe salvation can be lost, so if I agree with you as a denier of OSAS, well... :D

biker, this occurred to me as I was cooking dinner. Nothing to do with cooking though.

Our spirits are made alive in Christ. Undefiled, sealed. It’s our soul needing saved.

Perhaps your spirit would return to God? But, your soul in hell. Just a thought. I don’t really adhere to a doctrine. Just life in Him and His promises.

So, why live for God then since I once was Saved and could do anything I want to now?

I could become a mass murderer now and be saved according to you!
What makes a difference between murder and habitual
Living or a lifecycle if pride. You think one is better than the other?
And who said they were saved in the first Place? Can a person be saved and live a lifestyle if Murder ongoing?

Drop the “ever” because that was NOT the question. They sinned YESTERDAY and refuse to confess. Are they a true believer or is one confession all the confessions and further sins are ignored?

^^^^ This was the response to the following statement:

“where would I have gone after accepting God and then worshipping the Davil if had died while worshipping the Devil?”

This is why I find the doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved/Eternal Security so offensive. It creates believers who make statements like the one eternally-grateful made.

What’s even more astonishing is that many will not even be moved by it.

Since you have seen the OSAS response, do you think I would still go to Heaven after walking away from God and serving Satan?

The thing is, as a born-again believer you wouldn't want to sin anymore so therefore a born-again believer would not become a mass murderer.

So you came to
God because you loved your dad? And that’s all?

I did not feel guilty from what I had done until later on in my walk in God. But my Dad was a good human being who loved God. And I promised my Dad I would be with him again. And I stopped the life I was involved in and still being threatened from those who are involved. I just made up my mind I would start living for God. At first, I felt nothing for months. But in the past 6 months, I finally have felt God, I finally know Him intimately, I know I am Saved, and I serve Him for Him. But I came back originally for my Dad only.
