There are mixed ideas in the Bible, but what do you think? Does fire represent a good force or a bad one?

Fire is a tool and by itself neither a good force nor a bad force. The bible mentions fire being a refining force and that is generally a good thing. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

Fire symbolizes God’s judgment, and power. The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts. John the Baptist testified that Jesus will “baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." The Holy Spirit came as tongues of fire upon those gathered in the upper room at Pentecost :)Fire also symbolizes God’s presence and judgment. The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and the Lord tests hearts. John the Baptist testified that Jesus will “baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." God revealed Himself to Moses in a burning bush that fire did not consume, though God is elsewhere described as a consuming fire, and fire is to be the final judgment upon the world. For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the LORD. Every person whose name is not found in the Book of Life will be thrown into the lake of fire. Death and hell will also be cast into the lake of fire; this is known as the second death. It is also used as a symbol of purging, so that when something passes through fire, impurities are removed, and it is then clean. God also went ahead of the Hebrews as a pillar of fire by night, guiding them to give them light as they wandered the desert for 40 years following their flight from slavery in Egypt. On the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning.

Both. There is also natural and supernatural fire according to the Bible.

You could say is God, evil. God is a consuming fire. When we are baptised with the holy spirit, we are baptised with fire also. Jesus has descriptions of fire in revelation. Fire is usually in good context, when we think and read about it.
