1 Corinthians 1:4
I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

2 Timothy 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

We have access to the grace that is in Christ Jesus because God has made grace available through Christ, who is functioning within this time period. We need to understand that the Law given by Moses is very different from the Grace and truth that came into existence by the life of Jesus Christ. The works of the flesh, the works of the Old Testament Law, and good behavior does not make us acceptable with God. We have grace and are under the Grace administration because God has created it to be available only by the life of Jesus Christ. There is no other way under heaven we could have access, because grace is unearned favor, freely given through the limitless favor of God.

It's not that everyone sins from time to time and needs to pray for the grace of God in assistance to perform some good thing. Grace is what Jesus Christ accomplished and made available through the new birth, and it's this triumphant grace of God that is in Christ Jesus, that has made the believer a part of the body of Christ. In Romans 5:21, it is written “That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” There is a distinction between the natural realm and the realm of the supernatural. Human reason and logic can know the natural realm, but the realm of the supernatural, what is spiritual, can only be understood through the revelation of the truth of God’s Word.

Grace supersedes our natural existence because grace belongs to the supernatural realm. Grace is permanent as recognized in the steadfast virtuous life of our Lord Christ Jesus. Grace deals with God, who has healed and brought us to the state of perfection, and made it possible for us to be free from the slavery of sin. This salvation and the spiritual capacities that grace entails are from the supernatural perfection that comes from God. Grace is the favor of God because He is freely choosing to create His free and unmerited favor that is the result from creating of Himself beyond the natural realm of existence. It's through the source of God’s favor that He has created something beyond, which are His gifts and supernatural order.

Amen Grace is everlasting. It was given to david as David said, "Sacrifice and burnt offering you did not desire" In the old and in the new. Grace is a means of restoring our fellowship to God and after we are restored. it is our means of pur joy because we KNOW all our needs are met. And Like David. we can move on. and feel confident because our trust is in God. Not in self.

Exactly, EG ... fellowship with the Father has always been through grace. Those who lived under OC had fellowship with the Father through the same grace afforded to us in our day and time.

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Titus 2:

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

It has always been that grace has come to man through Christ, it was so from the beginning.

Lev. 17:11 for the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you upon the altar and I have given it to you to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul".

We need to be aware that God is gracious and eternal, it is the same gracious God who was God for the 4000 years before Christ who saved all those years when they repented of their sin through symbolic blood of Jesus. He saved by giving sleep until the curtain was split when Jesus gave His blood for us, when saved saints even walked the streets of Jerusalem as we are told in Matthews.

Do you have a verse that mentions "Grace" in it from this Old Testament that you quote?

A.W. Tozer says that grace is “the good pleasure of God that inclines him to bestow benefits on the undeserving.” This involves two primary elements: 1) God’s goodness or favor or blessings, 2) bestowed on those who do not deserve it. Grace is often defined as “God’s unmerited favor.” This is a simple, yet beautiful way to capture the real essence of grace.
When we understand grace in this way, even a cursory look at the Old Testament demonstrates the centrality of grace in its pages. As an example, Adam and Eve received God’s grace after they committed the first sin. Because of their sin, Adam and Eve deserved death and eternal separation from God. God justly banished them from the garden and placed a curse upon creation, but He also demonstrated His grace in two stunning ways.
First, He covered the shame of their nakedness by clothing Adam and Eve with animal skins. The sacrifice of these animals to cover mankind is a picture of the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus Christ, the “lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).
The doctrine of justification by grace was an Old Testament doctrine long before Paul taught it in the New!
Second, in Genesis 3:15, we have what scholars call the “proto-gospel” because it is the first time the gospel appears in the Bible, if only in seed form. In this verse, God promises to send a seed of the woman to undo the curse and destroy the serpent, and as New Testament believers, we know Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of this promise.

Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace [Hebrew chen] in the eyes of the LORD.

Genesis 19:19 Behold now, thy servant hath found grace [Hebrew chen] in thy sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life ... [Lot speaking to the angels who brought him out of Sodom/Gomorrha]

Exodus 33:17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace [Hebrew chen] in my sight, and I know thee by name.

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace [Hebrew chen] and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Proverbs 3:1-4 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour [Hebrew chen] and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:34 Surely he [the LORD] scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace [Hebrew chen] unto the lowly.

God's grace has always been extended toward mankind ... under OC and under NC.

Okay thanks. But I was looking for it written in the Mosaic Law.

A rather cursory search found 37 uses of the term grace. Do you need all of them?

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Often the translators say "found favor" instead of speaking of grace. The Psalms often speak of God's salvation.

Don't you have a concordance? Or know to use the one on the net.

Paul goes into detail of how the Law is meant to lead one to grace, and rightly understood is the epitome of God’s grace.

Do you really understand/comprehend God's grace? God provided for redemption of mankind before Adam ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Additionally, the Mosaic Law never "saved" anyone. Salvation was not the purpose of the law.

Salvation has always been by the grace of God. There are not two types of salvation ... one for OT believers and one for NT believers.

Salvation has always the gift of God.

1 Peter 1:

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

That’s an interesting concept ... given the fact that it appears the law is denigrated to the point of being meaningless. And I am in agreement that if we truly understood the law, we would find, as Paul wrote, that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good (Rom 7:12) and that the law is spiritual (Rom 7:14).

On the flip side, if we truly understood grace, we would find that grace teaches us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world (Titus 2:12).

Right ... and while I do not believe the word "grace" (Hebrew chen) is found where Peterlag insists it must be in order for him to allow that grace permeates the whole of the existence of mankind, we do see God’s grace extended in His revealing/having anything at all to do with Moses and the children of Israel, or mankind in general all the way back to Adam/Eve.
