unless we an infectious disease specialist we all are having a certain amount of trust in the credibility of our sources.
Under normal circumstances this would be normal. But when a conspiracy is in place, that changes everything. Presently the US government agencies involved in the pandemic all have a conflict of interest -- "Should we tell the public the truth or should we protect our self-interest while lining our pockets?"

The fact that hydroxychloroquine -- which could have saved thousands of lives -- was mercilessly attacked by the Establishment *medical experts* as well as the media is proof of that the best interests of the public were not important.

Believers in Christ are God's elect.
Not in Scripture...there are elect angels, God’s elect nation Israel, God’s elect servants during the tribulation, God’s elect Jesus Christ, etc...

Elect is a term in scripture. It always points to service not salvation.

isn't it?

"remember Lot's wife!"

-- the woman taken by the hand by angels, rescued from impending fire & doom, who having looked back toward her children, was memorialized forever as a pillar, made of salt - a preservative and symbol of everlasting covenant?

a woman, which in type through out scripture represents a nation, Israel, or the church. a wife. a wife of the only righteous man in a city.

pretty sure that's the church ;) -- tho yeah, it's the church being removed. so kind of 'featured in the chapter waving goodbye' lol
it's a sign for Israel -- we will be a sign to Israel; we are a sign for Israel even now.
Women throughout scripture are not always a type of the Church. I’m not getting hoe Lot’s wife is a picture of the Church. She was disobedient. I see her as one who turns back to the world during the tribulation judgment, Jacob’s trouble.

John 6:37-40

37Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away. 38For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me.

39And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day. 40For it is My Father’s will that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Ephesians 1:3-6

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms. 4For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love 5He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the Beloved One.

Still think The Elect aren't believers in Christ?

Not always types of the church, for sure - I meant to say, as types, they typically represent one of 4 things: a nation, a religious system, Israel, or the Church.

Lots wife wasn't destroyed with Sodom. She was preserved in salt. Made a pillar.
In scripture salt is good. In scripture a pillar is good.
She wasn't any more disobedient than Lot, and he's called righteous.

I can point you to some sermon series dealing with the subject - about 8 or 10 hours worth. it's more than I could try to explain in a paragraph. Or if you want I can try to lay out some of the case. I don't think she was turning to go back to any possessions or life in Sodom; I think she was looking back with concern for her other children who were left there. In this case she is representative of the church snatched away to spare and preserve them from Jacob's trouble, having compassion for those left behind. In Matthew 24 Christ is calling her a sign of the end of the age: a sign to Jacob in his trouble.

BTW I'm glad to see you again, it has been a while since I noticed you posting :)

God did destroy Sodom, and He will destroy the world. People need to be saved out of the world.
So many of us are caught up in the mechanics of this plague. That is the work of the flesh they are concentrating on. It is a good thing to know all about this plague and what to do about it as we live out our life on this earth, but the real core of a plague is from God.

We are Christians, and we love the Lord with our whole minds, heart, and soul. This world will pass away but the mansions God has prepared for us will endure forever. So lets not get entirely caught up in this world.

So many, so young,, and some old who simply do not remember how the weapons of mass destruction never existed in Iraq. I felt strongly they did not exist because our intelligence services are such there would have been evidence supplied, but no.

On the basis of this motive of Sadam Hussein, hundreds of thousands were killed in an invasion with no declaration of war.

AFterwards when President B.W. Bush admitted the eveidence did not show any WMD-s, he declared he simply did not care, that he would do the same again.

What now, bomb Peking? Wake up and be reasonable. It is certain if a country as well armed as is China wanted it could wage a perfectly normal war. Look at history and see who has been wronged over and over.

I do not believe for a moment that Jesus/Yeshua would approve of this smear campaign in His Name according to so many holy brethren........not for a second.
I agree that it was not just about WMD. It never was. I am sure that most of the Iraqis are very glad that they were liberated from that madman. I
Under normal circumstances this would be normal. But when a conspiracy is in place, that changes everything. Or... hydroxychloroquine did not make any difference as the same amount of people recovered who did not take it as who did, and there is no science yet proving it makes a difference, but there is science that proves it causes heart rhythm issues. This might be the truth, and the jury is still out. As far as the US government not telling the public the results of scientific data, it is already made public, there is nothing that is not published and made available to "cover up" and there is no small group that can pull that off, there are too many people involved in the scientific data to cover up anything. The ones doing the science are from all over the world and all over the spectrum of society, hospitals, universities, private companies and government agencies. Too many eyes and ears and individuals who are involved. The idea of there being some small group running everything is a myth based of severe ignorance of the way things work in our government. But people would rather believe a naive simple Hollywood movie script because it gives them some level of comfort thinking they can comprehend a simple plot about the way things really are. The complexity of real life is disturbing for them and makes them feel uncomfortable especially if it requires that they learn more than they think they already know about the world, government, and society in general. There are a massive amount of transactions that take place in our society at any given moment and things are not as simple as the conspiracy theorist fantasies.

Ok. What are the passages talking about then? Who are the chosen, predestined, and adopted?
All believers...once I’m in Christ, God determines my future adoption which is the redemption of my body. He has predestinated this for my future. Once I’m in Christ, God predestines me to be conformed to the image of His Son. No one is predestined to be in Christ. That’s not scripture.

Thrombosis, blood clotting is what the doctors keep talking about. They are giving them blood thinners, steroids and remdesivir. The blood clots in your veins causing mini strokes but is also causing the internal organs(brain, lungs, kidneys ect.) to be deprived of nutrients in spots ,oxygen ect. as well as problems with outgoing waste.

But all believers in Christ aren't elected? I'm not trying to get circular in reasoning. Just trying to understand it that way you do. I think the word choice "the elect" is just another way to say someone is chosen and isn't limited to a particular demographic. I could be wrong, but that's the way I understand it.

In Spain they use ozone therapy for coved 19

https://aepromo.org/en/uso-potencia...co-aprobado-por-isco3-el-13-de-marzo-de-2020/

And I believe olive oil may kill that virus

Soap kill covid19 but we can't eat soap.

Olive oil kill virus and eatable. I don't have access to lab that is easy to prove. Just try put olive oil to that virus, see if it kill the virus

https://www.oliveoiltimes.com/health-news/olive-oil-and-infection/51057

Numerous study prove olive oil kill virus, it may not kill all viruses, but why not try to kill covid19, it is virus

Elected to serve, yes, elected to be in Christ? Nope, not in Scripture. Election is connected with service not salvation.

Then I'm going to take another look at where "the elect" is used and see if that makes sense.

Matthew 24:22-24

22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The elect either cannot be or will not be deceived by false Christ's, meaning that they are believing in the true Christ. That's what a Christian is. And Christians have salvation. I think elect people are more than just people called into service, as you say, but those who have salvation. I guess after exploring the scripture some more I'm settled on my original perspective.

Believers are elected or predestined for perfection and glorification. "To be conformed to the image of His Son" (Rom 8:29,30).

Election cannot be for salvation, since salvation is offered to all. But all those who believe must be perfected and resemble Christ in His perfection (1 John 3:1-3). This is divine election.

The believing remnant of Israel is also "elect" since they will be saved by grace through faith. So when Christ gathers the elect after His Second Coming, then that is a reference to Jews who are saved from all around the world.

Lol, Christians are deceived all the time. For example, some Christians believe that God elects some to salvation.😀

The first mention of elect is concerning Jesus. Jesus is God’s elect, His servant.

Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

Perhaps before endeavoring to elaborate on the topic all concerned should consider that we are all members of the Body of Jesus-Yeshua.
