well, if people are speaking/doing from the indwelling of The Holy Spirit
they would be considered right in God's eyes, perhaps not necessarily
understood by all, but as the scriptures says'
'Out of the mouth proceeds the abundance of the Heart'.

If the bible says it is wrong and they do it, then they are wrong. If the bible says one thing and they say something opposite then they are wrong.
You will need to be more specific if you want this thread to go anywhere.

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

Men are wrong when they follow their impure motives. When they yield to the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes and the pride of life. To feel good, to indulge in pleasure, to be praised by men. These motives will make people to wrong things.

People are often wrong in what they say that the bible teaches because they do not love God or the truth but want to use the bible to convince others of their own ways of thinking and so they ignore the rules of hermeneutics and will twist a scripture for their own purpose. There is no use arguing with them because even if they agree in their minds that your interpretation is the correct one they will belligerently refuse to acknowledge it because they are fakers.

Others misinterpret scriptures because they have learned from bad teachers and have not done their own study. They are willing to believe the truth but they just never take time to actually read the context of scriptures they have learned from preachers to apply to things those verses never were intended to address.

There are many reasons someone is wrong in what they say or do. You have to be more specific.

You should get that tested.
Christ did not hang on the cross for people to proclaim they are the smartest and the wisest.
The first group of Pharisees have already done that. So now a new recreation of pharisees
appear. Christ died to take our sin away and to given us example to His of one commandment
that is love the Lord your heart and your neibhbor as yourself. Therefore all the laws ever are
gathered in that command. Love fulfils all the law.period. I don't see or heart any love with
word wresting. Jesus said, follow me and I don't recall Him standing there with a scroll and
preaching word for word from a scroll. He masticated the words and brought them to life so
that every word He spoke came from the heart. He didn't praise the know it all the word or
anyone else and now turn his life on the cross and become word mongers rather than doing
as He did. A warning, word mongers will never reach the Spirit and become a new creation.
The new creation is life in the Spirit and the Spirit doesn't play with words. Again the will
never find the new creation because they do not know the way. The Spirit is love every day
all day and forever. That was the intent of God sending His Son to minister love but sadly
the majority of Christianity is void of that message and woefully inadequate to find it.

You would not know about Jesus or the new creation or "the way" if you had not read it in the scriptures.
I don't know what you mean when you say he did not preach from a scroll you are forgetting that He took the scroll of Isaiah read it to them and then said this is being fulfilled before them.

Jesus said to search the scriptures and that they testified of Him.

Jesus walked with the two disciples on the road to Emmaua and taught them from Moses and all the prophets concerning Himself and their hearts burned within them.

Jesus constantly quoted from the scriptures and pointed the disciples to the scriptures.

Paul taught all of his doctrine on salavtion by using such scriptures as Isaiah and interpreted the prophesies about their return from Bablyon to be about the salvation of Jesus Christ (See Romans)

So YES Jesus preached from scripture and constantly chided both the Pharisees and his own disciples for not seeing the Gospel in the scriptures.

Paul finally got it, and we should too, otherwise we will just be talking jibber jabber nonsensical esoterical thoughts about love from our own erroneous concepts and claiming it to be the Spirit. As these threads seem to be full of.

JESUS our GLORIOUS LORD said, "You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor God’s power (Matthew 22:29)."

Well, the World walks (says and does things) in darkness.

Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Believers are to walk in the light.....

Ephesians 5:8
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

BUT, we're learning HOW to walk.............in the Spirit so we do NOT fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Ephesians 2:10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Hope this helps.....(y)
