Uprooted and transplanted... this is the vision which I awake to on this rainy wet July morning.

John
3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Our souls are no more independent after our first birth than before it. We must arrive at and humbly confess to this universal truth before we can be planted into that rich soil prepared for us by our loving and kind Maker.

We need to be transplanted else we shall surely perish in short order. A plant cannot survive for long once uprooted and left to bake out in the sun. It may feel momentary warmth from the hot sun, but it was not created to exist in this state for long. Not since what happened in that first garden so long ago.

We must choose to allow the wise Maker to plant us into the Body that His Son provided for us when Jesus gave His life blood for us on the Cross. We do indeed need to go back into a womb of sorts in order to be birthed into our new creaturehood and then on into our new glorious bodies on that rapidly approaching Day of our Lords return.

Humble yourselves and allow your loving Father to transplant you into that immoveable and nourishing soil of Salvation today.

I understand it differently. Man's origin is in the womb of a woman - his mother. From this womb proceeds "flesh and blood". In 1st Corinthians 15:50 we learn that this combination is unfit for the coming Kingdom of God. A man's life is in his blood and this corrupted life must be set aside and replaced by a LIFE worthy of the Kingdom OF LIFE. So God prepares a NEW and AN-OTHER BIRTH - one in which a man is born of God (Jn.1:12-13). But since God is a Spirit (Jn.4:24), this birth has not to do with a womb. It occurs SOLELY in the human spirit (Jn.3:6). The body made of flesh and blood is left to die. It is useless for God's intended purpose. And in resurrection it is equipped for the coming Kingdom. It is no longer "flesh and blood", but "flesh and bones" (Lk.24:39). The blood is gone.

But scripture says that the "life of a man is his blood". How then will we stay alive after resurrection without blood? BY GOD'S LIFE in the human spirit - eternal life. James 2:26 says that the human spirit is a man's vitality. What then if the human spirit is filled with God's life? The man cannot die, AND he is equipped to SEE and INHERIT the Kingdom of God when Christ sets it up on earth. Blood is out of the picture as a source, or ORIGIN. And that is why, when Adam saw Eve for the first time, and Eve is a picture of the Bride of Christ, he cries; "bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh" (Gen.2:23). And that is why, when presenting the Church we read in Ephesians 5:30;

"For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones."

The blood is nowhere to be found for the BODY of Christ is not made with corruptible life, but the SPIRIT (1st Cor.6:17)

Man's origin is in the womb of a woman
Man's origin is his Maker. The womb of his mother is only the method and channel that God uses to give him his flesh body. A very temporary kind of clothing for the mind and soul.

Yes. But you were talking about Nicodemus. In John 3 the origins that were contrasted were the womb and the Holy Spirit.

I agree that the present flesh is temporary and a tent for the man, but it is to be redeemed. And the guarantee for this redemption is the same Holy Spirit (Rom.8:23; Eph.1:13-14), and the "purchase-price" is the blood of the Lamb. Your present flesh has a value because it makes up Christ's BODY (1st Cor.6:15), but your resurrection body is valued at the blood of the Lamb, and makes up His Bride.
