What does that mean in the bible?
Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
This has to do with our behavior to act Christlike, which a false prophet will not act Christlike, but will be hypocritical, for they come in sheep's clothing, but inside they are ravenous wolves, and that is for their own profit taking advantage of the saints, and do not want to live like Christ, but care about their wants, and lusts.
1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
They will tell you that God blesses the saints with money and material things for their wants, and want the saints to give money telling them God will bless them with their wants exceeding their needs when God only blesses us with our needs for He loves people.
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy, which love is the fulfilling of the law.
