The diaspora has existed since long before our blessed Savior/s first coming. It began with the dispersion of all the tribes besides Judah and Benjamin I believe............check on that second tribe.
At any rate the diaspora continues to this very day, and will not be totally over until Yeshua returns..
Regarding "own" conclusions, that is never up to the believer, however waiting for the revealing of meaning is quite proper. No one today is given to totally give meaning to revelation other than how it is presented in words to John, who, did not understand it all either. This time of understanding by the Holy Spirit seems to be at the door.

Exactly a distinction must be made. The idol (form) represents the unseen image. A false source of faith ( lying wonders.) No faith .
Its what King Saul sought after (What form is he of? ) when God refused to commune with Him.
1 Samuel 28:14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
Its an evil faithless generation that seeks after one .No sign is given to those who walk by faith (the unseen) .

Scripture is describing a future event that involves a man who is killed, stands up alive, and is empowered by Satan to work miracles.
We then see a second man stand up that also has the power to work miracles.
This second man instructs the people to make an image to the first man and the second man gives power to the image to speak and instructs all men to worship the image and the first man.

At the time Revelation was written(approx ad96), the "beast that was, was not yet is" https://biblehub.com/interlinear/revelation/17-8.htm had already recieved the deadly wound (was, is not, yet is) so it was(prior to ad96),,,is not(no longer a kingdom in ad96/in the abyss) and the two horned beast(video has this correct) sets that kingdom back up. Who is the kingdom that received a deadly wound prior to ad96 and then after the two horned beast rose(US),,, it set it back up?
I have watched alot of YouTube of the subject, i know that the image will be able to talk and it will be in the third temple of israel to my knowledge and research, i cant give you particular verses but i can say that you should study the book of Daniel and the book of revelation. The bible doesnt say how large the image will be but i am assuming it will be similar to the statue the King Nebuchadnezzar dream. I could be wrong on that but i am just saying that it will not be a small statue.

The prayer bump often looks like a black brown an red callus or bruise and looks like the "Black Stone". therefore the image of the black stone is marked on their forehead.
Throughout the centuries Some people were killed if they did not convert to Islam., which is to bow down and pray to the black stone or image of the beast.

In Iran the Supreme Islamic leader (false prophet) appoints the governmental leaders (beast).

We are the image of God. We know that doesn't mean what is seen by the eyes. But here is where exploring the possibilities should begin.
What has made the Word of God visible on earth? The human body. We know the human body that we see is not the Word but the life of certain people revealed the Word. So the image of God on earth reveals the Word of God on earth.
The Word is the express image of the Father. We learn how we should act from that image. We allow what we learn from the Image of God that made the Word of God visible to form our conscience and guide our daily lives.
The image of the beast like the image of God is made visible by human life. The lives of God's people were making the Word of God visible long before the image of God Incarnated. God's people were forming their conscience according to the commandments long before His incarnation. The lives of the beasts people are as well. The image reveals to the people what's good and evil and allow it to form their conscience.
The image of the beast is made visible by human lives that make the word of the beast visible. They are very vocal and are sanctioning the word, or morals of the beast into law now. The morals of the beast have formed the consciences of most of the world's people. From that powerful place the beast can guide the daily life of it's worshippers. What Christians call good the worshippers of the beast calls evil and doing good for a Christian makes the beasts worshippers feel guilty and visa versa. That's why Christian morality is persecuted now. The beasts lawlessness has infiltrated the human conscience. Far be it from the beast to rain fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, no, he lifts them up.
